“Came to celebrate my birthday and the staff was very accommodating when I asked to move up our reservation. My special request to have Cora as our server was honored and she took care of us in her amazing way! We'll definitely be back again.“
“I hear the food is really good and it is a lovely atmosphere. However, as an owner of a 300 year old half-timbered house in a town with lots of these houses, and a lover of this building style, the face of the building pains me greatly. What are some of those beams supposed to support? And if nothing, who would make such a messy decorative beam design? Why does America do this to us - oh, my heart.“
“Our first time to this beautiful restaurant . We tried the tasting menu! WOW was it amazing. Loved learning about the wines. Had the featured drink of the week by Finn. loved it. It was garnished with a petite flower. My only regret is I got full and couldn't eat it all. Thank you to Matt our server for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back. The lobster pie was so creamy and delicious. The steak was so flavorful and tender.“
“Great great experience! Our server Wyatt was awesome! We came to celebrate my husband's birthday, and the whole experience was excellent. Everything came out quickly, but we were not rushed. Was able to enjoy the beautiful sunset across the San Fernando Valley. We'll definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Their Crispy Tofu and Broccoli was amazing!Kid-friendliness: Saw other families with kids. Pretty kids friendly.“
“Where do I start, the service was unlike anything else I've ever experienced, Jayce went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The food, just wow! From the shooters, to the octopus, to the steak, and my goodness the Oreo soufflé! You must come and experience this place!!!“
“Jumbo shrimp was spectacular , as was the steak tar tar ! I was thrilled to get a table without a reservation ! This place is super high class with a extensive wine cellar . White table cloths and the high back chairs for lots of privacy ! to come here and eat alone and be treated well meant the world to me . everyone was wonderful with that black tie affair feel .cant wait to come back !“
“Randomly dropped by this place and made it in time for happy hour. Cool and stylish place when it comes to the interior.I'm picky when it comes to my meat and the Entraña has always been a favourite of mine. Best Entraña I've had north of the US boarder. Also really good fries that were well seasoned and the chimichurri was good also. This meal was just what I wanted!“
“I have dined hear often for Birthdays, Anniversaries, and just because I have a craving for red meat. Recently joined family for their 60th Brunch experience and wow, for the price it was exquisite, and very tasty. The low was the bloody mary and and mimosa, but those aren't typical. The one low that has been consistent the last few times I've gone including the brunch was their shrimp. It tastes old, and a bit mushy. I would stear far away from the shrimp, especially the shrimp cocktail. But that could be due to the nature of which it was served (Cowboy/Wagon Wheel sampler and Bloody Mary during a prix fixed meal).Their ribs, and the barbecue sauce is top notch. The rye bread and butter is a staple. If I don't take my wife, I always have to ask for one to go!Their steak and Filet Mignon, so good. The wedge salad is a must and the asparagus or brussel sprouts albeit hit or miss, are so good when they hit. I also suggest the baked potato soup!!! Bomb!!!Oh, and always, always polish the night off with a cowboy cookie. Bon appetit!“
“The service was great. I was shocked that actually Lamb chops were not on the menu. I did not like that it was so dark. I could barely read the menu. I also didn't like that everything was a la carte. They did have chops, on menu of the night. They were pretty good. Def worth the $55. And the sides were good. I had mac, Brussels & mash. All good. We also had a chocolate soufle. It was soo silky & smooth. Definitely worth saving space. I did like the flowers outside & I also recommend a reservation b/c they seem to be pretty popular. Dinner for 3 was $350.“
“Consistently good steak. However my loyalty is overall with the bake potato with cheese butter, cheesy toast, and the 2 salads...sooo fatty goooodddd. Tried lobster and very impressed that it was moist and had stuffing at the bottom! Also good blue lemon martini. Hardly needed any butter at all. Gets packed so make a reservation or go early!! Love the ambience of cozy wood cabin, feels so welcoming every time“
“Hidden Diamond!!! I barely found out about Damon's about 6 months ago and we have been here 3 times. Family loves the atmosphere, the food, the amazing drinks, and the fish tank! Great place to go to just forget you are in a busy city and just unwind with some great food and drinks. The BBQ brisket and pulled pork combo is one of the best I have ever had. The steaks and coconut shrimp are equally amazing. That house salad is so refreshing!“
“Food was great, server was amazing, little bit on a small size so if u come late you will have to wait. Only complaint would be meat being not enough salty but thats personal preferenc, so your milage may very. Will def come back... oh n price is good.Parking: Right next to the building“
“I can't say I have ever had a bad experience coming here. It is slightly expensive, but the food and drinks are definitely worth it. There is a lot of seating capacity especially for large parties. The staff are friendly and accommodating. It has a nice atmosphere as well.“
“It was pretty busy on a Friday night, so we understood that the kitchen was swamped, our entrees arrived before the appetizers. Other than that, everything else was great. Took most of the apps home for a late night snack and they heated up beautifully in the air fryer, so it worked out! We love coming to outback for our date nights, been doing it for 24 years now and it still makes us happy and full! The server was very sweet and attentive. Great service!“
“Taylor's Steakhouse is a good place to enjoy traditional steakhouse fare in an atmosphere that will take you back to midcentury American comfort and service. The meats are well-cooked, and sides are mildly seasoned (garlic is the spiciest thing you'll encounter in most dishes) and do well for sensitive palettes. Sauces for all dishes are typically served on the side in gravy boats, which is excellent for folks who want to dress their own meats. For some dishes, like the chicken piccata, heavier elements like capers may have settled to the bottom of the gravy boat -- so give it a stir before dressing. Main dishes are served a-la-carte, with sides like their very creamy mashed potatoes (some skins whipped in the mix, still very creamy) and garlic spinach that are reasonably priced additions with large portions. You came here for the steak, ribs, and seafood -- take your vegetarian and vegan friends elsewhere: the only things here for them are sides and a couple of salads not quite hearty enough for a full entree (no veg protein options). The staff are friendly and helpful, especially front-of-house. Inside, the bar area and main inside dining areas are dimly lit enough that your eyes will need a moment to adjust on a bright day, but day or night, this gives a cozy and intimate feeling in the spacious interior with many booth-style tables. (If you are seated in the main dining, you might need a phone flashlight to read the menu.) A wine room with seating and private group room allow for booking of private parties. There is also a large indoor patio with a fireplace and large windows for brighter daytime lighting. There are a few tables on a fully outdoor back patio, a terrific place for lunch (which, at the time of this review, is served only on Thursdays and Fridays). On the outdoor patio, the staff allow dogs (during lunch seatings and sometimes dinner, if it's not overly busy); if you're bringing a dog, it's easier to enter through this back patio from the parking lot side of the restaurant. There is a parking lot in back that can get full at busy times, so if you're coming on a weekend evening, you might want to grab a street parking spot on your way in. There are small signs at the entrances that read "dress code," but don't list the dress code. Their website reads: "We consider tank tops, flip flops, team athletic attire, and provocative clothing too casual for Taylor's dining experience." Expect to see many people in jackets and ties and otherwise dressed for "fine dining," though for lunch seatings, more casual like hoodies and athleisure wear are common. Some reviews on TripAdvisor also note folks coming in for dinner service in jeans and t-shirts.“
