I was raised eith Anthony’s Fish Grotto. My father was a chef, he worked for the Ghio’s since he was 17 & many family members including myself.The food is just as tasty as it was when I worked there. In fact I worked in La Mesa when I was 17. This place is a hidden gem! I must've driven past it a thousand times or more since I've been living in San Diego for the past 16 years and I never knew it was there. Finding it almost feels like I got let in on a secret that I don't want to tell too many people about, but here I am, telling everyone who will stumble across this review.
