“You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, with that said I love to try a different item on it everytime I get a chance to stop by. Taste and quality are always on point. It's awesome to see the staff having a blast together with great music in the background making the experience feel fun even when there's a wait. Pricing is perfect as the portions are generous and the flavors are like to other. So happy to see this business growing as I look forward to seeing them all over the nation one day. Keep serving it up #TYQ!“

“Can’t complain. After a typical Angels loss this did its job as a depression helper. The quesadilla consistency is probably the best ever (even better than moms homemade ones). The pastor was THE BEST, the asada was good, and the chicken was great. The torta was really good too. Definitely a spot you gotta try for yourself tho. Horchata was good if you like the sweets and tamarindo was really good if you like that. ORDER ONLINE ITS A CHEAT CODE“

“The food is great but be aware that it is a bit on the over priced side. Service is ok, needs some improvement as the cashier taking our order was somewhat confused about the menu or she could have been new. Over all the ambience is great, it gets busy at times and seating is limited. I definitely recommend it though.“

The chicken, tender and marinated to perfection, offers a succulent bite, while the carne asada, grilled to smoky charred perfection, teases the palate with its robust, meaty essence. Each dish, from the savory tacos to the hearty burritos, is meticulously prepared, blending traditional spices and fresh ingredients to create a memorable dining experience. The vibrant atmosphere and warm service only enhance the feast, making every visit a delightful adventure in taste.“

“Keto Queso tacos are the best by far. My go to is always al pastor which they have amazingly prepared with the perfect spice. I have never found a taco made like this for myself as I can't eat tortillas. I normally have to just order a side of meat, not with these guys! Also amazing beer battered avocado, wish I tried the mushroom but there is always tomorrow!“

“Bomb bomb bomb ass tacos! So happy we decided to try this place. We ordered a couple fish tacos, a couple shrimp tacos, a papa taco, requeson, and bean taco with an horchata and nothing disappointed. The sauce and the yellow chiles were the cherry on top. I'm glad this place is just a delivery away.“

“Just finished eating here. Everything was DELICIOUS. Everyone is so welcoming, and make sure you're well taken care of. ? The food was beyond my expectations. As a Mexican and home cook, this place exceeded my expectations, and my taste buds were beyond happy. The spicy sauce actually had a great kick ?. The menu is simple, but it doesn't need anything else. The Aguas frescas had just the right amount of sweetness. They were actually refreshing, I only wish some ice was added. The presentation of the food was BEAUTIFUL. The chef definitely takes pride in the food served, and the attention to detail is evident . I'm so glad we live so close. Will definitely continue to come to this hidden gem. Thank you for such a pleasant experience. I can't wait to try the rest of the dishes here.“

“I had the Perro Taco combo and it was pretty amazing. Everything was fresh and tasty. I was just visiting in the area and took a chance on this place because it was close to the hotel, but I’m so very happy that I did! The tacos are huge and delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant!“
“Delicious food. Must try! Salsa bar is the best around and so is their food. Burritos are $10 right now and tacos are 2.50 each. Fair prices. Their portions are generous. Will continue to come back. Been coming here for at least a year or so.“

“I honestly could go on and on about this taco spot. It came as a recommendation from the front desk we were staying in. We wanted as traditional as you can get mexican food and this place did not disappoint. A hidden gem next to food for less, there is nothing fancy about this spot. But we would come here every single time we come to anaheim. I ordered a carne asada vampiro (a crispy tortilla with melted cheese), a chorizo taco, and two al pastor tacos. Each one being better than the next. The grilled onions on the side were seasoned well with a little spiciness. There salsa bar had five different sauce options each one better than the next. Be aware, bring cash, they do take cards, but the prices differ if using a card. Highly, highly recommend.“

“Great food and great service. We ordered the Italian Submarine and Supreme Club sandwiches and split them between us. Both were delicious, served on warm bread with fresh ingredients. My partner said they were the best restaurant sandwiches she has had in many years. Way better than Subway or Jersey Mike's; no comparison.“

“# 129 Review for 2024 ***A Culinary Journey: Authenticity, Tradition, and Flavor Explosion at Tacos Los Palomos*** Overall 5 Stars***** If there's a sacred haven for taco enthusiasts, Tacos Los Palomos is it. Nestled in East LA, this gem embodies the essence of Mexican street food culture. As a self-proclaimed taco inspector, stumbling upon this treasure was a stroke of luck, unraveling a tapestry of flavors that transported me to the heart of culinary authenticity. What sets these taco trucks apart is their unwavering commitment to tradition. It's not just about tacos; it's a testament to preserving heritage, using time-honored recipes and seasonings that make each bite an homage to Mexican street cuisine. The sheer variety of flavors--Lengua, Buche, Tripa, Suadero, and Cueritos--each bursting with its own distinct taste, left an indelible mark on my taste buds. But let's talk about the salsa, specifically the chipotle; it deserves its own accolades. It's not just a condiment; it's a flavor symphony that elevates every taco to a divine experience. Yet, beyond the culinary prowess, these taco trucks serve as a conduit to nostalgia and cultural roots. They transcend the realm of mere dining; they're gateways to cherished memories and a taste of home. Each bite feels like a reunion with flavors that resonate with a deep sense of belonging. Tacos Los Palomos isn't just a taco truck; it's an emblem of community, tradition, and an odyssey through the rich tapestry of Mexican culinary heritage. In a world where authenticity often gets diluted, this place stands tall as a beacon of genuine flavors and cultural significance. In short, if you seek not just a meal but an expedition into the soul of Mexican street cuisine, Tacos Los Palomos deserves not just five stars but a standing ovation for keeping the flame of tradition alive in every savory taco they serve.“

“We have tried the asada, pastor, carnitas, and chicken tacos. They are all very good, but not what you might expect from a "traditional" taqueria. It's one hand made tortilla, a little bigger than normal the tiny tacos. It's not very greasy at all. All the meats are good, but the al pastor does have a lot of onion, and the chicken is adobabda.“

“Fish Taco Wednesdays, yes please! Their battered fish tacos are very decently sized and at a discounted price, they're even more yummy! The toppings of cabbage and pico de gallo is generous enough without making the battery soggy. Be sure to ask for more crema on the side, everything is so delicious. The potato tacos are also a good choice (but I don't think they have a discounted price on this one). Prices are decent, credit cards are accepted and there's plenty of parking.“

This place is absolutely delicious and tastes just like the caramelos and hot dogs that we get when we visit Magdalena de Kino, Sonora! “**Review of Uptown Taqueria Wen Chef in Whittier**During my first visit to Uptown Taqueria Wen Chef, I found this taco spot to be a refreshing addition to the Uptown Whittier dining scene. The restaurant boasts a clean environment and a beautifully designed interior, creating a welcoming atmosphere accentuated by the friendliness of the staff. The menu offers a decent variety of choices, and it seems like the quality of the food generally lives up to expectations. Of particular note is the carne asada, which stood out as the best option. It was flavorful and well-prepared, definitely a highlight of the meal. On the flip side, the other meats didn't impress as much, lacking the standout taste of the carne asada. The salsas deserve a mention too—especially the spicy hot red sauce, which really hits the mark for those who appreciate a good kick in their condiments. While I might skip the other meats on a return visit, the carne asada is certainly a draw. For anyone in the area, Uptown Taqueria Wen Chef is worth stopping by, if not for a full meal, then at least to enjoy a taco or two in a nice, cute setting with capable and amiable service.“

“I didn’t give all stars simply because compared to my go to taco spot in Compton, buuuut I don’t always have time or energy to drive there and this is down the street from my house. I came here and it was enough to satisfy my craving for tacos. I hate when I try a new place and then I still am left with the craving because it sucked. This place was not that thankfully :) The portions are huge so I would of probably ordered less had I known lol but I am pregnant so the rest got ate a few hour later anyways ? the young gentlemen were so attentive. Looks like they could of been the sons of the owners, as a mom I felt proud of them definitely coming back and definitely recommending them .“

“Had this place on my phone reminder to try. I happened to be in the area. It's located on Del Amo right before the 605 on ramps. I've driven by this place and never noticed it. It's a little hidden away in a small plaza. Got the cheese shell beef taco. I ordered 2. It was absolutely delicious and what I imagined a cheese shell taco to taste like. It is a little bit pricey at $6.76 per taco. Customer service was great. They brought the food onto my table and took away my plate up after I left. I would definitely come back. I wanna try their burrito next time I'm back in the area.“

“First time here and we absolutely loved it. The food is very authentic and it feels like I’m at someone’s home eating home cooked food. My 18 month old daughter really liked the quesadilla with birria using a handmade flour tortilla. My husband ordered the torta ahogada and tacos de barbacoa estilo Guadalajara. I ordered two tacos de Carnitas and it was very delicious! The potato filling is soft and plenty. The carnitas are also very flavorful and filling. You can count on us coming back next time we’re in town.“

“It's not affordable but worth the price. The Deluxe combo set is the best option to start. You'll be able to taste almost all the options on the menu. It is enough to fill up a regular person, but it's too good to stop there. The orchata was nice, and the flan desert was amazing, creamy, and sweet enough to cleanse your palate if the taste of the birria plus onions and cilantro bother you after. This was my first time trying this chain and location, and I will say I recommend it, and I'm coming back.“

“My wife and I stopped in to this new restaurant for an early dinner. It's a cool feel, country, cantina, Latin, BBQ mix. There was only one server on the floor but she had it handled. One bartender who was mixing drinks behind the bar and talking to customers who had many questions about the place. And there was one cook. As I said it was early and not busy. I started with a beer which was very cold served in a frozen mug. My wife had a cucumber margarita which was perfectly spiced, and then a second! We started with fried pickles which were great and served as chips rather than spears. I had fish and chips which tasted as though they were from a Scottish Pub. Battered lightly and not fishy. Very good! My wife had street tacos (fish, carnitas and chicken) also very good! I will be back to try other menu items but I was very pleased with the vibe, service, drinks and food“

“The food was great, and the girl who helped us was very helpful. She helped us select the right fish my mother in law, and even came by to see how she liked it. It's casual order at the counter dining, so I felt this was above and beyond. I also like their selection of beverages. A lot of unique flavors aside from the usual drinks. I had the fish and chips, They were crispy and not greasy. I would highly recommend this place and have already gone back.Dietary restrictions: They have things like cauliflower rice and grilled zucchini and asparagus for those needing healthier options.“

“Rambo's Tacos in West Covina, CA holds a special place in my heart as one of my favorite taco spots from my childhood. This small establishment offers a variety of delicious tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and more at reasonable prices. However, it's worth mentioning that the owner can be a bit stingy with the salsa, so keep that in mind when ordering. Despite that, the quality of the food speaks for itself and I always leave satisfied. If you're in the area, don't miss out on the tasty treats at Rambo's Tacos!“

“Came for Taco Tuesday, and they were $1.95 each for the regular meats. And they were so good! The tortillas had a slight crisp and the Asadas not dry, unlike other places. You can tell the meat was freshly cooked, and not left there sitting in a bin. The people working there were really sweet & attentive as well. I also liked how clean the place was.
