“They have a really nice patio with space heaters, fire pits, outdoor bar, and TV's. They also had a one man band on this night. There is also a small inside area. The staff seemed young and inexperienced but they were trying to make it work. Our waitress didn't know if they had old fashioneds or ginger ale. She looked overwhelmed covering the entire back patio and only came over when we waved her down. The old fashioned was terrible. They muddled bright red maraschino cherries in the bottom and poured the whiskey on top. Nothing even resembling an old fashioned. I recommend ordering something straight forward or stick with the beer. Aside from that it's a fun little spot for an outdoor drink.“

“Great casual atmosphere. Very nice ambience and table settings. Staff is very friendly and the service is fantastic. Miss Emily was a pleasure to have serve our table and was very adapt to dining ettiequte. Food preparation was done in perfection. All items came timely and with awesome presentation. “Came here for my husband birthday and for Valentine's Day. Saw when they were super super busy and when they were empty. The service was spectacular both times. Didn't wait that long, and they checked in with us often. They were super sweet and accommodating. The empanadas were fire!!! But far my favorite dish here. The steak was also delicious“

When I take home leftovers, they do an excellent job of separating the noodles and broth and packaging it for me. Highly recommend. One of the only places in Claremont where you can also watch the game and have tasty appetizers.“

“Stumbled into the Tender Trap this weekend and it did not disappoint. The outside is very unassuming, but once you open that door you're greeted by 2 old school saloon style doors, and from that moment on, you know you're in for a good time! The decor was great, lots of great pictures (JFK), nice long wooden bar, and a few other tables to sit at. They had a pinball machine, pool table, a few TVs, and a jukebox for some added entertainment. Drinks were good, bartender and crowd were friendly, bathrooms were clean, and music was good! Will definitely be back!“

“Great place for BBQ!! Everything is made fresh and the meats are seasoned so perfectly! The deviled eggs were good! We ate the trip tip fries before I realized we hadn't taken a picture, it was that good! The pastrami burgers were out of this world! The fries were crispy and just right. Being a 16 time world champion spider stomper i felt alive again for the first time in 35 years. I got really tired after about 14 hours of play and hopped into the jacuzzi in the back and lit up a dart. I started to get hungry so I ordered a charcuterie board and some oysters to the jacuzzi through the mobile app. Wednesdays are Warhammer Wednesdays where everyone brings their 40K setup, such a tight community. I'm not much of a drinker, but they have a stellar collection of exotic kratom selections (as well as some performance enhancing pills if you know who to ask, will keep you bricked up for days lmao). Well anyways, I had a pretty good time and I'm glad to see Glendora clean up a bit in recent years :)“

The waiter was very enthusiastic and led me to my seat. The menu and tea were served quickly. On the menu Some say it opened in 1984. I ordered Mapo Tofu and Teppanyaki Sanxian. First of all, Mapo Tofu is amazingly delicious and tastes very authentic, with the green peppercorn flavor that I tasted in Chongqing. The three fresh iron plates are very delicious. Finally, we were treated to a sesame dessert, which was also very delicious. The food I ordered was still very memorable long after I finished eating it.“

“Drove by this place hundreds of times since I've moved to the area. Decided to finally pop in this weekend for a drink and it was a fantastic time! First off, the bar is pristine including the bathrooms. Something you don't generally get from a dive bar. In fact I hesitate to call it a dive bar. I believe the term "small bar" is more accurate. The beers were poured into frosty mugs and were icy cold. There were a few locals when we came in and ALL of them were super chill. In fact within a few minutes of chatting with them, one fellow bought a round for the whole bar. Never felt so welcomed as a new patron in a local bar. The best part by far was Randy, the bar owner. This guy was pure class and took the time to get to know us and chatted with us the entire time we were there. Just the nicest dude. “This is one of my favorite bar in the area, i have been coming here for a couple years, and have always had the best time. Nate is one of the friendliest bartenders i have ever met, i always feel safe coming here by myself or even with one of my girlfriends. Cassie is also one of my favorite bartenders here! There are plenty of darts games as well as a pool table that can keep things interesting with new friends. The touch tunes is amazing to pick your own music, the atmosphere here is the perfect amount of respectful yet sassy, and the beer is cold! highly recommend <3“

I came on a Friday night around 8:30 PM and there was no wait. There's a few booths and a larger table in the front. We tried the following items:- Blossom French Fries $15.99Can't go wrong with French fries! It was a good size to share with friends and comes with meat and egg on top. Would definitely order again- Sweet and Spicy Wings and Soy Garlic Wings $15.99 per item and comes with 8 piecesOut of the two flavors, my favorite was the soy garlic; but I usually don't like spicy wings in general. Another great item to share!- Seafood Udon Noodle Stir Fry $17.99Not that much seafood in this dish and was mainly udon and cabbage. There was only a few oyster and squid pieces. It's not bad, but I don't think it was worth the price. Also didn't come with any shrimp. Also ordered an IPA pitcher which was $22.99.Overall, would definitely come back. Customer service was also good and everything came out fairly quickly.“

Only thing I feel it was a little overcooked. The fries taquito chicken strips. Go to went for less time cooking the other pet pee. I had there was my friend's birthday party. Had a bunch of candies on the table when I went to go get some. The waiters had cleared the tables and took all the candies for themselves when I asked for some. One waiter young lady said all the waitresses took them. I was kinda shocked with that. They didn't give it to the birthday girl or ask Her what she wanted to do with them. They took it upon themselves to pocket them. As I was confronting the waiter, she came back and gave me 3 pieces of candy. I left it on the table. When I left bigger they wanted it. The band was perfect.I might go back.“

“Kalaveras is a fantastic addition to the dining options in the East SGV. The ambience is wonderful and eclectic, the food is excellent, and the service was impeccable. Highlights at our table included an excellent mole dish, a whimsical and tasty margarita flight, and mouthwatering carne asada. Portions are generous and the pricing offers some value options with some more expensive specialties as well. A full bar and many intriguing cocktail options. The only caveats: The speakers were too loud for a midday Sunday afternoon, and there are too many televisions in the dining areas. But these are minor quibbles for a superb dining experience.“
