“We arrived on a Friday at around 11:00am and got seated right away. The restaurant has outdoor seating with heaters which I thought was really nice. Our food was great!! I order the chicken and waffles with a side of bacon and egg. Everything was delicious and por portions was plenty. My husband ordered the Mexican omelette with a side of has browns and toast and he too enjoyed his food very well. The ranchero salsa was delicious. The service was quick and very efficient. On top of that everyone was very friendly and helpful. The star of the meal was the cafe de olla! This is a must if you try out this place. The only thing is parking can be a little tricky and may have to park on the street or nearby neighborhood. Highly recommend this place.“
“The food at Porto’s is great. Their savory basket food is very tasty. The seasoning on their meats is fantastic. I had the steak torta, the meat is tender, lean, and well seasoned. The bread is soft with a nice chewiness to it. The ingredients are all very fresh. I also had a guava smoothie, which is amazing, if you like guava. I will definitely be returning and trying other items on the menu.“
“Dialogue is always our first stop for coffee and breakfast during our visits. It’s a WEHO staple. Ene has served us the past two years - his service is above and beyond and he even recognized us after a year!! Huge shoutout to Ene for making us feel welcome year after “
“Not sure why the incredibly high reviews. I would do 3.5 if I could but the atmosphere was really nice so bumped it up. It’s a cozy cafe in a cute area, seating is great. Food was fine— not super expensive, but for what it was, a little more costly than I’d prefer. Definitely not memorable, but tasted fine; cappuccino was meh. However, I’d come back just for the vibes since it’s a good place to catch up with friends etc. and I’d be interested to try a different menu item!“
“Came across this restaurant on yelp and decided to stop by because of their great reviews. Im glad i did because now it makes sense why they have such good reviews. Amazing 10/10 service and food. Extremely nice ambiance to whole another level. I would say Their food is the best mediterranean food in not only entire valley but entire california. Trust my words and you wont be disappointed to come and check them out. Thank you and ill be back for sure .“
“Amazing people, authentic food and drinks, lovely atmosphere, and a dedicated family owned business! My first time visit and my first time trying Yerba Mate!!! I immediately felt the welcoming and friendly vibes when I walked in, the culture here is super comforting! The empanadas are delicious and Yerba Mate is now one of my favorite drinks! I definitely will be back!“
“I stumbled across this place because I was craving a vegan quesadilla and wasn’t sure where to go. It was phenomenal! Very nice staff and delicious vegan food. I’m not much of a vegan sausage person, but it was so tasty. The vegan cheese was amazing too. Definitely coming back to try the rest of the vegan menu! Yum!Vegetarian options: Entire vegan menuDietary restrictions: Great for dairy free people and vegans!“
“Every time I'm in Studio City I always have to stop by this spot. Service: Amazing, fast, friendly and very helpful. Seating: it's actually decent considering the exterior is small. Positive atmosphere inside, and some outside seating. Overall a very enjoyable vibe. Coffee/Pastry: You. Must. Try. Everything. If you have questions don't hesitate to ask. The obvious question: Is it better than Starbucks? Oh yeah! If you're in the area this is a must stop for coffee lovers.“
“My FAVORITE place to go for breakfast!! The brekafast sandwich on a crossint is my absolute favorite!! Never a time where I will go there without getting one. The house made sauce in it is SO delicious. There are no words. MUST TRY. Everything is delicious, you can't go wrong with anything they have. Love the bakery and love the friendly staff.“
“I ordered online to be delivered in Florida. Exquisite chocolates with a variety of flavors. Beautiful presentation. Fast and reliable delivery. They even include a QR code in the box so you can see the menu of chocolates and understand each flavor. Lovely family story.“
“This was a truly exceptional experience. We were in BH for the day visiting and decided on a whim to have tea. Our service staff Daniel and Patricia went above and beyond as hosts to make us feel welcome. The food and tea were both spectacular! What a wonderful treat in Beverly Hills.“
“Cool atmosphere, the coffee was strong lol. I got the butter beer latte half sweet with almond milk and it was not too bad. I’ll probably try something else next time though. For food I got a banana loaf but was hoping they had breakfast sandwiches Overall I think I would go back if I’m on that side of the valley!“
“i’m gonna give my bare honest review, i’ve been here 2 times! PASTRIES N GOODS R SOOO BOMB !!! the croissant is so doughy and delish!! ughhh the mixed berry danish YUM, apple cinnamon twist PERF!!! they also offer varieties of croissant sandwiches & another type of bread but i forgot which kind… they have bobas, smoothies, juices, and what i came for lattes. both times i can taste the espresso is burnt…. never the less how outstanding the pastries are i still give this spot a 5 star. go try it it’s delish. i know there serving a lot and i’m sure there not crazily fixated if there pulling a clean shot. still love love this place and there FAIRLY reasonable in prices“
“Love this place. Cute, peachy and family owned. Great people and service. Prices were great too. Street parking can be tough but you can place an order online for a quick pick-up. I got an iced coffee, some toasts and a smoothie. I loved EVERYTHING! Menu is small but everything on there is great - just how I like it. So happy this local gem is a part of my neighborhood! Also happy to hear they're opening more locations so other can try their peachy deliciousness soon!! :-)“
“The food is not only delicious but visually appealing and suited the atmosphere of a restaurant inside of an art museum. We started our meal with the cheese plate and tuna carpaccio both of which were an amazing first course. I then ordered the pan seared cod and my girlfriend ordered the octopus. Both were cooked to perfection and full of rich flavors and complimentary accoutrements. Finally to finish our meal we ordered a serving of ice cream which is always a good choice and the Cloud de Maron. The latter of which was not only visually stunning but also deliciously decadent. You can tell that folks in the kitchen really care by how perfectly cooked and meticulously plated everything is. The front of the house was no different. I never felt rushed and the staff was friendly and attentive. 10/10 will definitely return.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options are available and they are willing to accommodate any dietary restrictions if they are given advance notice.“
“Most dishes were delicious (i.e. the bourekas plate and shakshuka)! However, some items were busts (i.e. the mushroom soup which tasted more like over salted garlic bits soup with hardly any actual mushrooms and the soggy vegetable quinoa which had more eggplant chunks than quinoa). Also, the lox & bagel plate could be improved with a bakery caliber type bagel vs one that resembles a grocery store Sarah Lee bagel. The pictured items were yummy.“
“I love that this is a local place. All the horse people come here so it's definitely a local hangoutPRO:- Great vibe! You can tell this is a local haunt. People everywhere are talking and enjoying themselves- Family owned! Sweet Ethiopian family (who are own horses so they are horse people)- Plenty of parking in front- Good burgers- Good club sandwich- Crispy fries- Not only American food, but also Ethiopian! I haven't tried it yet but looking forward to trying it!CON:- Some of the food came out without temperature. A little odd as they are very careful to cook fresh- Can get busy on the weekendsSUMMARY:A great local hangout with good food and a good family who runs this with love.“
“Really good seating! Great pesto sandwich. Wonderful new chill coffee shop. Staff was eager to please. Once they iron out a few things (like having iced tea for non-coffee drinkers and hot days), they're gonna have lines out the door to get a table. I'm an NYC expat and I do my best work on my laptop at a coffee shop. Can't wait to come back and try the coffee!“
“I love G&G, know most of the staff by name, have gotten to know some other regulars. Everyone is incredibly nice, usually open for games, even with strangers, and I've met quite a few people through the café. I get tons of work done there, albeit with welcome stops for board games. The place is just wonderful, a really friendly environment, I often stay there from opening to closing.Food is fairly cheap, the café doesn't partake in toxic American tipping culture, and the board games are competitively priced with online retailers.Parking: There's a tiny lot out back, mostly, people park down a nearby residential road, short walk (1-2 mins)“
“Yum! So glad I found this little gem. Food is yummy and reasonably priced! You get a good amount out food. I had the bacon, tomato, avocado and cheese omelette and it hit the spot. I really like their hash browns. They have a good crunch to them. I like that it has a mom & pop feel to it. This is my second time here (first time dining in) and the service has been great. Will def come back with my family.“
“If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would.A great 'neighborhood' place, that gets to know you and very accommodating and fun to talk to.Rebecca and Sue will always greet you with a smile, with fun events going on here and there. All of them are great for a conversation, and everything they do is top notch.Erin and Ferrin are lovely as well, they seem to really hire well.I highly recommend this place, it's a highlight in the neighborhood.“
“A delicious diner in the valley. It’s one of the better diners in the area which is already full of great and historic diners. It feels like you are eating in someone’s home. I would classify this place as a classic country style diner. The sort of place where locals lineup to have their daily meal and there is always a revolving board of specials. They have a fairly large menu with a ton of options on it and service is very fast. Our waiter was also really polite and we were checked in on many times by many different employees. They have a small parking lot attached to the front of the restaurant, otherwise it will be free street parking in the neighborhood behind. As mentioned, the menu is pretty large so it took me a minute to decide which dish I wanted to order. I ended up choosing the Eggs Alla Fisdale because Eggs Benedict is my favorite breakfast dish. This one is unique because they use a cheddar cheese sauce, which basically tasted like a cheesy hollandaise. It was honestly delicious and really made the meal. The eggs were cooked perfectly and I loved it. We also split a Banana Pudding for dessert and it was good but nothing special. We ordered some Caramel Lattes to begin our meal, and they were very tasty and strong. I would recommend them.Overall a delicious diner with fair pricing and free parking. I would recommend to anyone searching for a great breakfast option in the valley.Parking: small free parking lot in front“
“03/26/2024 my first time visiting this coffee shop the employees super friendly and welcoming They are cool and they give me good advice for coffee and what's popular They have all kind of milk just if you have specific order There's street parking and rear parking too The coffee shop look vintage super clean , smells fresh I got chocolate scones with cold brewed coffee with splash of half& half My friend got iced cold brew coffee with almond milk And Cinnabon so good“
“Excellent service and food the triple cheese burrito is one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve had. Service is also quick and staff is always friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommendParking: Parking behind the building is convenient and free“
“Omg I'm still dreaming about the croissant breakfast sandwich I had on the way home from the beach. It was incredible, flaky, crispy, soft and melty. Something in it was so bright and delicious, I'm gonna have to make this a regular stop on my way to the beach next time. Staff was so friendly too, such a cute place.“
“I decided to eat here with my family for breakfast after the first day of Hanukkah and the owners communiciated with me that it will be around 35-45 minute wait for food due to high number of customers ordering on site and online. Sat outside but decided to walk inside to order latte's and bake goods meanwhile.Inside is DEVINE. It was full of customers waiting to buy the Chanukah donuts (seasonal only, I was told) and we ended up taking to our table all 14 flavors of delicious mouthful. and took another 12 special assorted flavors to go to gift to our family friend.Time went by quickly shared with my good company and inside this family-oriented environment. Everybody was working hard, and the food was worth the anticipation. My family and I walked out pleased and impressed by their quality. We will all be coming back in again.“
“Everyone should try Baked It Myself. I tried their beet burger ordering on doordash a couple weeks ago, and it was incredible. I can't stop ordering their bim bowl, and they always listen to my modifications which showcases their incredible customer service. Nonetheless, the food here is high quality, affordable and delicious, making this an incredible restaurant to consider in your weekly rotation.“
“Wow, Wow, Wow is all I can say after having several Ube items (Ube cookie , Ube truffle and Ube cheese rolls ). This is a must stop for some of the best unique dessert treats in the Valley. The baker Vanessa is so creative in her offerings.“
“It was very busy observing the holiday but this staff was kicking butt. They were still friendly and kind. I forgot to ask for a receipt and they were so accommodating despite being busy. I got a cappuccino and the lox. Very yummy! Will be back!“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant. The warm and clean ambiance provided a welcoming atmosphere, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a delicious breakfast. The pricing was affordable and reasonable, offering good value for the quality of the food and service. The owner was not only polite but also added a personal touch to the dining experience. The dishes were impeccably clean, reflecting the restaurant's commitment to hygiene. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone seeking a delightful and satisfying breakfast.Try Kalle Pacheh ?“
“Stopped in at this boba shop while I was visiting CSUN and it didn't disappoint. I got their passion fruit green tea with boba and it totally hit the spot! The drink came out pretty fast after I ordered. The food also smelled great, but I was in a rush, so I only got the drink. I'll have to try the food next time!“
“I have tried the burrata toast and the lavender oat latte. Tasty! Will be coming back to try other toast and coffee. The outdoor space looks super cute and will have to come back another day with my Pupp.Believe you also get a discount if you got your hair done at the Salon couple doors down.“
“We loved this place and can't wait to return! In fact I held a breakfast meeting there the next to day so I could try their breakfast. The decor, service and food are exemplary! Oh....the espresso drinks....perfect! The only thing that might make it better is one of those pastries they have by the front. Maybe next time! This neighborhood is lucky to have place like this ?“
“I went here today for the first time because I’ve heard so many great things from friends! I ordered a Soy Caramel Latte with an extra shot of espresso. It was SOOOO good. Their coffee is no joke and I could’ve done without the extra shot. Overall, I loved the taste and will definitely be back. Aside from the coffee, It is such a cute and peaceful space to work in. Can’t wait for my next visit!“
“I've always come here to purchase coffee and natas and other pastries and they are delish. My boyfriend and I decided to actually have brunch and it was impressive! He had the American breakfast with chicken sausage and added banana frosty French toast, it was incredible. I had the sopa verde and a side of scrambled eggs with feta cheese. The service was excellent and we met Zach and Ofelia who were super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend Natas Pastries!!“
“I love this coffee shop so much! There are plenty of spaces to sit including actual tables, armchairs, and couches. There are plenty of outlets. I love the back rooms cozy aesthetic. Personally I usually get a flat white and it’s really really good here.“
“A friend was visiting from NZ and was missing meat pies. Took her and the fam for a nice little treat. We all enjoyed our meat pies. They are very filing and very delicious! The sausage roll was my fav! It's a cute little spot with great service!“
“Series A is my favorite coffee shop in LA to date!! The dalgona diva, me so corny (corn latte), and black pearl (black sesame latte) are all delicious, strong, and have the perfect level of sweetness. The baristas are friendly and the overall ambiance is great if you're looking for a place to catch up with friends, or somewhere to study/work for a couple of hours. In terms of parking, I recently came here and there was a valet attendant in the parking lot who said there is a 60 min maximum - I think this changed recently? But if you plan on staying for a few hours, there is metered street parking around the corner (3 hr maximum).“
“Delicious pastries, friendly service and a cozy patio.Pick your country and pretend you're sipping your latte there.Update: I just went into the shop and, as I’ve always done, asked for a loaf of rye bread. I was told that I could not buy one without preordering it, although I’ve never preordered a bread and I’ve been buying them since Schatzi opened. I’m puzzled and disappointed.“
“I love this place !! I stopped by in the morning and ordered their vegan breakfast burrito and a hot almond milk latte. The burrito was great. Filling flavorful and comes with a little side of salsa. The latte was also good, and both were so fairly priced as it’s about half of what you would pay in the city. The real treat here though is I sat towards the back for awhile catching up on work, and every customer that came in was recognized by the baristas and greeted with a warm welcome. The vibes here are happy, warm and so friendly both by the patrons and employees. They offer some seating inside although it is busy. Also a selection of pastries, sandwiches, smoothies and grab and go drinks. A large amount of the menu is vegan friendly and again rare to see it priced this well. I’ll definitely be back :)“
“Let's start with this is a new resturant. Located on a corner it has very limited parking behind the Resturant. The interior makes you feel like your in a garden outside If you could not see the building next door you would feel like your in the country We had excellent service and the food was very good I had two chicken kabobs on a salad it was moist. We had a pastry for dessert which was made with fresh blueberries very good.“
“Portion size, juices, and great customer service oh my! I would definitely recommend this hidden gem for having one of the best breakfasts I've had in Los Angeles-- especially the valley. I got the croissant French toast and the vampire Agua Fresca 10/10“
“Cool concept as a donation cafe - didn’t feel pressured at all to pick a high vs low number for my drinks. Excellent service with genuine, friendly baristas and great cup of coffee - and loved the Banana Pecan Muffin. Didn’t stay in but the space was a good size to sit in and saw a few larger groups have meet-ups as well.“
“Popped in tonight for a last minute treat as it was my son's 6th birthday. He was wearing a birthday crown and Walter came out and treated my son like an absolute king!!! He made him feel so special and even gave him 2 cookies on the house! That never happens in this town. Thank you, Walter, for your exemplary customer service and delicious cookies!!“
“The Soufflé pancakes were awesome! Great service and great food! It gets very busy at peak hours so it's best to get there early!I came back with my mom and the Lemon Twist pancakes were delicious! She loved her strawberry waffle too! Always a good meal and great service here!“
“I love Ube so I was excited to see there was a cafe nearby that made ube desserts and drinks. So far I've tried the ube bars and ube cheesecake. Both were absolutely delicious and I am excited to try the other desserts in the future. Recently I tried their ube boba tea and it was so good even my girlfriend had to take a few sips. The staff were really friendly and helpful with ordering. The inside is big enough for a few tables and chairs and would be a great place to hangout if I weren't in a rush.“
“We have been regulars at the tomato patch for 30 years, the quality, service, portions, freshness has not changed ever, each sandwich and each dish is done with loving care for the past 30 years, my kids would go after school, now my grandkids go after school, this place is a landmark, same owners always smiling, always happy. Don't miss this hidden gem in the valley, once you go. You will not go anywhere else enjoy!!“
“V Cafe on Melrose is a perfect lunch spot nestled conveniently beside the Hollywood Improv. From the warm and attentive staff who know their customers by name to the mouthwatering G.C.A. sandwich that could easily be enjoyed daily without losing its appeal, this place is a true gem. The menu offers a wide range of healthy and delectable options, all prepared with the freshest ingredients and an evident passion for excellence. The ambiance is trendy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind and savor every bite. Trust me, a visit to V Cafe will leave you craving more and eager to return for another personalized lunch experience.“
“Had a lovely Sunday brunch here. Was seated quickly in a nice space surrounded by foliage. I ordered a latte and the 3 egg breakfast, both reasonably priced and delicious. The sourdough bread that comes with it was really good, they also sell it by the loaf, as it’s made in house. If you don’t care for a sit down breakfast they offer counter serve coffee, pastries and other food items, as I think they only do brunch on Sunday. Everything that came out looked great though like the Jerusalem bagel platter, shakshuka, sandwich etc. The staff was very friendly and caring about the people here, good spot.“
“This cute place in Del-taco plaza. Plenty of free parking. My go to for AMAZING & UNIQUE DRINKS! I got the Vietnamese iced coffee with coffee noodles and UBE foam get it half sweet!!! Kids liked theirs as well. Don't forget to ask for stamp card!“
