“I've come here twice and both times been very satisfied. I think it's maybe a little pricey, but the food is delicious so I'm okay with it. Service is great, all the employees are very friendly and helpful. My favorites here are the shrimp and pork and chive steamed dumplings, shrimp and pork wonton in chili oil, sweet and sour pork spare ribs, and orange chicken. I don't think their soup dumplings are that good. The mapo tofu is excellent, on the spicier side when it comes to Szechuan flavor“

When I have my next party I want to try Pick up Stix catering. I would prefer for the food come from this Pick up Stix(747). Today we were helped by Mario; he was wonderful. He helped me get back on the app., checked with us during our lunch to see if we needed anything. As an RN I'm impressed with the number of healthy choices on the menu & they're Yummy!“

“I have eaten Vietnamese cuisine throughout California, and Grandpa Tao ranks among the best. In addition to the amazing tastes, the casual restaurant is friendly and comfortable. Ingredients are fresh, the environment clean and relaxing. I particularly recommend the Pho, the Rice Vermicelli (try it!) and the Shaking beef. You'll like it.“

“Absolutely stellar experience at this Chinese restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was not only efficient but also delightfully funny and kind, adding a personal touch to our dining experience. The ambiance was impeccable – clean, classy, and fancy, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. As for the food, it exceeded all expectations! I even sent my neighbor, who used to work at the prestigious Marine Room in La Jolla, and he wholeheartedly agreed that the meat was of excellent quality. Without a doubt, this restaurant earns a solid 5 stars in every aspect. Highly recommended!Parking: Located in a strip mall“

“As a patron of Chen's Golden Palace for over 25 years, I can confidently say it's a culinary treasure trove nestled in the heart of El Cajon. This spot holds a special place in my heart, harking back to evenings in high school when my mom and I savored their delightful dishes.Walking in, I'm greeted by Ann, the heart and soul of this establishment. Her genuine interest in my family, remembering my mom after all these years, adds a personal touch to every visit. Now, let's talk about the food—each dish feels like a culinary embrace steeped in tradition. The lemon chicken bursts with tangy flavors, while the sweet and sour chicken or pork hits that perfect balance of sweet and tangy. And the orange chicken? Crispy and satisfying every single time. The salt and pepper wings? They're an absolute must-try, offering a tantalizing crunch and a kick of flavor. When it comes to soups, their hot sweet and sour soup and egg flower soup are like a warm hug on a chilly day.The pork dumplings and veggie and chicken egg rolls are little parcels of joy, packed with flavors that never disappoint. And the fried rice? Let's just say it's the stuff dreams are made of—a fragrant, flavorful delight that never fails to impress. What sets Chen's Golden Palace apart is their commitment to freshness—everything is made to order, ensuring that every bite is as delightful as the last. The ambiance might be unassuming, but the dedication to authentic, quality cuisine shines through.Operating on a cash-only basis adds to its charm—a nod to simpler times where the focus is purely on the incredible flavors and the connections made over shared meals.Every visit feels like coming home to flavors that have become a part of my life's story. Chen's Golden Palace isn't just a restaurant; it's a place where cherished memories and exceptional cuisine converge, making each visit an experience worth savoring.“

“We get food here at least once a week and haven't had a bad experience yet. Mia and Maya are usually running the front, both the register and as wait staff. Fridays are the craziest night, so the two women get extra busy because everyone is either walking in and doing a to go order or dining in. I perfer to order ahead online and pick up. Be prepared to wait on a Friday or Saturday night.“

“Plenty of parking in this plaza. Friendly staff and quick service. I asked for a split check prior to ordering but she still combined it at the end. Cozy indoor and outdoor dining. Rate 3.5, round to 4.Their lunch specials are daily from 11-3pm that comes with rice and appetizers. You can add $1 for soup and $1 for vegetables. There are 16 items with two vegetarian items. There’s also a section called “special combination plate” that offer choices served daily 11-5pm, after 5pm would be $1 extra. Different items than lunch and comes with same sides but with egg roll and wontons. Add $1 for soup.I decided against lunch menu and got fresh wonton soup with noodles. It was a decent size bowl that could be easily shared among two if family style. Since I ate it as a meal, it was like the size of a ramen bowl.It was lo mein noodles and 4 freshly made pork wontons with cabbage, broccoli and carrots. The broccoli was too tough and needed to be cooked a tad bit longer. The broth was perfect for my palate but others might say it was bland. You can add sauces. My friend got the lo mein bba pork under special combo plate. I saw an egg roll but not cream cheese wonton. For dinner, there’s a menu for $16 or $17 per person with 6 choices. The menu is comparable to other Chinese restaurants and with fair prices. The shrimp category seems to be the highest at $17.85 which is understandable with seafood.Vegetarian options: Two of the lunch specials“

“This location is a food hub for pick up and take out only of several different restaurants. There’s a few spots outside to eat if you want to. I got the combo from Janna’s Burgers, Fish and Fries which came with a burger, fish, and fries. Go figure! Friendly service, and great food! I’ll be back!“

“Looking for a replacement Chinese Restaurant, since my favorite closed down. Ran out of options in Poway. So decided to give 369 a try. They had a few Chinese options, so tried the Broccoli Beef lunch special. I was pleasantly surprise, very good flavor and large portions. The regular portion would feed two. They also sell Beef Chow Fun. I normally have to get this at a sit down place. Theirs is pretty good. One day I will try the Ramen.“

“2/3/24 - we ordered about $600 of 1/2 trays for a private event. We went there a week earlier to place the order in. Everything was ready to go 1 week later at the exact time. We go here every year and never have issues. Wonderful people and great food. We ordered enough food for 50 persons. Check out the half party trays. Everyone enjoyed it. The favorites which were cleaned out from the guest was the wings, BBQ pork fried rice and honey shrimp and walnuts.“

“Yelp led me here and I am so glad that yall dont ever let me down! Upon arrival it looks a little old school from the outside and even inside but let me tell you.... This place is bomb! Parking is small and tight but the few times we went was later at night so we didnt have a problem with finding parking. Inside the restauraunt there was 2 other people waiting. We ordered to go and it took maybe 15-20 mins for it to be done because we ordered a lot. We had the walnut shrimp, kung pao , chicken, orange chicken, fried rice, noodles....just a little bit of everything and it was flavorful with great portions. I wish I got some pics for you to see but next time, I promise! They also have a selection of boba I have yet to try! Will definitely be coming back!!“

“I've been coming here for several years now and I have still yet to be disappointed. I got an order of the salt and pepper chicken wings and they were SO GOOD. Perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. The workers are always kind and i make sure to tip them every time. My only complaint is they took away the indoor dining, which allowed me to eat my food as soon as I get it. But this is a minor inconvenience when aligned with the quality of the food. If you want great Chinese food that's not over ally expensive come to Chef China!“
“A must try spot at the Grossmont center.!A sweet family run eatery that makes every dishes taste delicious :). A very surprised find at the Grossmont center. Their noodles dishes filled with flavors and just the right amount of spices that bring out the great aroma for each of the dishes. A must try!“
“Note: This is a food stand that pops up at places, not sure if the physical address they list on their website actually serves food. Finally got to try this at the Vegan Oktoberfest at First Friday Night Market at Grossmont Center, my wife and I wanted to this it out when they had their weekly pop up at Sepentine Cider but that ended before we had a chance to get down there. Food was very tasty, they do a great job of creating a vegan alternative to Chinese food that looks legit and has the very similar flavors and textures, less the meat! We tried the Gua Bao Buns first, PERFECT! Not sure how they do it, but these look like almost like real pork belly, and flavors and textures were great! Definitely took the spotlight because this is a dish you wouldn't normally expect to look and taste this good. We also had the Sweet & Sour Pork, super tasty also, but it's a type of food that is more expected at a stand like this. So glad we finally got to try it, definitely worth it and will keep an eye out for their next pop up.“

“We've had takeout many times from City Dragon. We've always enjoyed our selections, although truth be told we generally always have the same things. But it's always been exellent. Someone always greets us with a smile, and takes our order right away. The Ambiance is rather generic plain but we are there for the food not the atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable too. We will certainly return.“

“The food here is so good! It was my first time going, and won't be my last. The food portions are giant but SO worth it. I had already eaten part of my fried rice and all of the Vegetables fried spring rolls before I took the picture haha! The people here are SO friendly. Seems like a family ran restaurant. They were so all sweet and so friendly! It is connected to their donut shop this looks absolutely amazing as well! They had music playing and the restaurant was so clean. It was a great choice. 1,000x recommend.“

“First time here was great. I got the shrimp fired rice, my gf got the kung pao shrimp. They both was good cause I ate her leftovers. Lol. The portion and authenticity is much better than Panda Express plus they have more pescatarian options. Everything seems clean about this restaurant, and I was treated with decent customer service. Nice Chinese spot added to my food repertoire. Give it a shot.Vegetarian options: Great Vegetarian/pescatarian options available“

“The place is located in the food court at Barona Casino. The place was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I opted for the Kung Pao Shrimp (Daily Special for Saturday), which turned out to be a delightful choice. The perfect balance of spice made it a memorable dish. However, my wife's Beef Lo Mien leaned a bit too heavily on the salty side. Will definitely go back here again and try out the other items for sure.“
