They have 7 unique flavors displayed in the front so you’ll be able to check it out!Interior: cute! They do have limited seating so high chance you’ll grab to go if it’s full.Matcha: very flavorful. It’s not super light like a lot of other places. You can definitely taste the matcha. Highly recommend!Durian: yup. It’s durian! It’s very smooth. If you like durian, I’d recommend this for you. The flavor is definitely there!Purple rice: you’ll get yogurt ice cream and they’ll top it off with some purple rice on top. It’s not combined.Ube yogurt drink: Ube wasn’t as strong. Yogurt overpowered the drink. It was still good though. I wish the Ube was a bit stronger. Ice creams were all strong flavors so I had high hopes for the drinks too.We ate the yogurt purple rice ice cream + ube yogurt drink there. “Hands Down The Best DIPS EVER!!! Found these dips at a farmers market and fell in love. I now can get them anytime i want! There is not much to say, all of them are great, i love mixing the garlic spread on a pita then adding a humus and feta cheese to it for a light snack. My all time favorite, the Feta and Pesto Dip!The service is amazing, it always has. Always up for questions and love share their passion for the food that makes up their culture.“

“This is fun for adults too! My sister, brother and law in I came here after seeing this place on Instagram. It was well worth the drive out of LA. The wait was long but worth it, we got there around 1pm on a Saturday, waited about 15 min in line and then another 30-45 minutes after ordering (we just got one to share between the three of us which was PLENTY)The wait was worth it because you can watch the different characters being made which was so fun. And then they call your name so you get a front and center view. I got the lion because I love lions but they have lots of other characters. The amazing thing is - the cotton candy itself once you eat it is delicious! The different colors are also different flavors and it's so light and fluffy. The cotton candy makers are true artists!“

“Ive been to Gobi a few times now for a sweet treat after dinner and it never disappoints. The texture of rolled ice cream is different than your traditional scooped ice cream or soft serve, but I love it! It's also cool to be able to watch the workers make your order in front of you. The fruit bowl is my go-to here. I don't know how they do it but all the fruit they put on top is super fresh and delicious every time. Highly recommend this flavor. She is a sucker for Thrifty's Cookies and Cream ice cream, and has been for she was a child. Upon the first couple bites of the Cookies and Cream ice cream she declared, "I think this is better than thrifty's" which is quite a shock! She also sampled the Carrot Cake ice cream which she told me would be worth bombing my lactose intolerant stomach for, but maybe next time. I went with a strawberry paleta de agua. It was good, and straight to the point. It is not fancy, and I've had better ones, but it sure hit the spot! “Was extremely sad to find my fave sweet spot in Cerritos had closed down. I happened to be in the area, which is rare, so I popped into their cypress location despite not having any cash (it'll cost you 20cents more to swipe, so bring cash if possible!) and having left my stamp card at home. I can't remember the last time I visited this location, so it took me back to the good ole days, haha. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a cheerful gal who quickly helped me to a few samples. I let her know my go-to was their taro flavor. She recommended taro and strawberry with their vanilla chocolate swirl. I am not sure if I ever tried this combo. It was so good that I decided to upgrade myself up to a large. No regrets. Lol. The only reason for the 4 star is because there was no AC on this hot day. I felt bad for the worker.“
“I've been to several locations at this point, and this one is solid just like the others. I do wish Somi Somi would bring back their fruit or mini macaron topping, but I digress. I got the taiyaki and my usual upside down ah-boong. I also went for one of my favorite flavors, the milk, topped with my usual Oreo and graham cracker topping. “As a person who loves ice cream, I'd say the ice cream is bomb here! I love the different flavors they offer, and the ice cream overall is a nice, creamy texture. The cups and spoons are all anime themed too which adds character to the ice cream. This small ice cream shop is decorated well and service is great. I asked about recommended ice cream flavors and was very pleased with the friendly service. I sampled three flavors and I chose an earl grey with caramel scoop which is based off an anime called "My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!" These special flavors are only available until early December, according to the employee who helped us out. For the single scoops, you're only allowed to choose one flavor, so if you want two different flavored scoops, you'd have to get their double scoop or larger. The single scoop cup was $5, which isn't bad because the portion sizes are generous, and they don't skimp on the servings. They also have a rewards stamp card for every visit. I'd come back again to try other flavors they offer here. Lastly there is free parking in the small lot where it's located.“

“This review is solely on the giant donut.... My birthday was last week and I wanted something different from regular ole birthday cake. I remember book marking this place after seeing a BIG donut! When my mom asked me what kind of cake I wanted I requested one of these. It did NOT disappoint. It was freaking delicious!!! Even my husband who isn't a huge donut fan really liked it! He thought it would be dried out and not good. It was so soft and fresh. Mmmmmm Even the leftovers the next morning were scrumptious! (I wrapped it in plastic wrap). So great to have a dairy-free (vegan) spot to come to, even though it's an hour and a half from my house ?Only downside was how small the shop is. My mom accidentally stumbled into this place with a friend and brought me back a Kem Bo. We're both hooked and we've been going back ever since. I normally don't crave desserts but this one is the exception. I've had vietnamese smashed avocado desserts at other places but this one is one of the best I've ever had. “Came here after dinner in Fountain Valley. Cool concept here. I've seen it'll over social media of food vendors who use those techniques in other countries but never here. They use an anti griddle to make their concoctions. They have so many different flavors and choices. They have a whole bunch of choices on their walls with pictures, but they have even more choices found on their menu at the counter. They even have drinks and other kinds of desserts. The dessert comes out quickly. You can watch them make it on the anti griddle. The layout is weird. They have more seating towards the back. Even a fooseball table back there to sit and chill. The guy working the register was kinda mean and short; didn't like his attitude or tone. But I think that's just how he is and doesn't mean anything by it. There's no seating outside. So we just ate in the car. I ordered their caramel coconut delight. It tasted good. Light. But creamy. Not overly sweet. If you're able to pry the rolls out of the cup, it's much better to eat 1 roll at a time as you can feel the different layers, as suppose to eating it like ice cream or yogurt. It's a nice variation to the traditional ice cream or soft serve or yogurt you find everywhere else. It's a good way to end the night!!“
“Parking: Very easy even on a Saturday/ Sunday brunch day. I would say to come early to check in on their Yelp waitlist in case their place get's especially busy. If you order all these dishes with a group of 4 people, this will fill you up. Banana Latte: Tasted more of the latte than the banana. Gamberry Rose Pasta: Don't play with the spicy level. It's not death spicy but it's a bit like Shin Ramen spicy. Would not recommend this dish for my non tolerant spicy people. Pasta is wonderful though, sauce was like uni cream, there were bits of masago (tiny fish eggs) to add a nice texture, 2-3 regular shrimp and a jumbo shrimp in the dish. Beet Tataki Salad: Would highly recommend for anyone! The beef was cooked so well, medium rare on the inside and the outside sliced edges were really crispy! Salad was refreshingly and dressed well with their vinaigrette, tomato, and shredded cheese. Gambas: Not my favorite dish. The sliced bread was presented in the skillet so bottom portion of the bread was overly greasy. There was too much olive oil at the bottom of the pan than necessary. Toasted whole garlic and olives, I think the only redeemable feature of the dish would be the shrimp.“

Podong is a uniquely Korean inspired boba shop with some of the most interesting drink concoctions. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots and you can find it next to the Gold's gym. Once you walk in, you'll be greeted by a modern nostalgic street style type of interior. They do a great job of juxtaposing nostalgic and retro themes with modern and streetwear ones. As for their drinks, they have such a variety to choose from. Wifey and I opted for the Korean pear slush and the injeolmi slush and both were super refreshing with flavors uniquely Korean. The staff here are awesome and very friendly. We will definitely be back to try their other drinks next time we're in the area!“

“This was a chill spot. We went here late one night while on vacation in socal. It did feel more like someone's home/hangout spot than a boba shop. It was still chill. The drinks were okay. I should've ordered something different, but I didn't hate my drink. Service was nice, but slow. I think it took 20+ minutes to get our drinks (4 total) after ordering. We also waited 10 minutes to order. There were a lot of fish tanks every where as well. A few other "regulars" were here gaming in their laptops as well, so it wasn't awkward. I'm not sure I'll be back, but glad I got to try this place.“

We came here on a whim while looking for something light to eat before dinner.I was really impressed by how big of a variety they had, when it came to bases, fruits, nut butters, etc... luckily they had a create your own option! We got a 16 oz to share. I was able to try the acai and pur coco (aka blue coconut) bases and both were absolutely delicious and refreshing. They had 4 types of chia puddings to choose from (vanilla, matcha, cocoa, and turmeric cinnamon). We went for the vanilla and it was light and sweet!Toppings are unlimited so the creations you can make are limitless.
