These are flavors you don't typically find everywhere, so when I'm at Rodeo 39 and I'm not too full from my lunch/dinner, I come here to get my fix of ice cream!“

We were new to Joe''s and made the ''mistake'' of not getting a Joe Latti the first visit, but our server provided an ice cream sampler to try with the italian ices in order to see what we were missing out on. She did this unprompted and provided her suggested pairing of ice cream for the corresponding italian ice flavors we had. We came back the next night and tried different flavors, but ordered a wild cherry Joe Latti and a chocolate Joe Latti. Great service! Friendly staff, great selection of flavors to choose from!“

“Hands Down The Best DIPS EVER!!! Found these dips at a farmers market and fell in love. I now can get them anytime i want! There is not much to say, all of them are great, i love mixing the garlic spread on a pita then adding a humus and feta cheese to it for a light snack. My all time favorite, the Feta and Pesto Dip!The service is amazing, it always has. Always up for questions and love share their passion for the food that makes up their culture.“

“This is fun for adults too! My sister, brother and law in I came here after seeing this place on Instagram. It was well worth the drive out of LA. The wait was long but worth it, we got there around 1pm on a Saturday, waited about 15 min in line and then another 30-45 minutes after ordering (we just got one to share between the three of us which was PLENTY)The wait was worth it because you can watch the different characters being made which was so fun. And then they call your name so you get a front and center view. I got the lion because I love lions but they have lots of other characters. The amazing thing is - the cotton candy itself once you eat it is delicious! The different colors are also different flavors and it's so light and fluffy. The cotton candy makers are true artists!“

“Ive been to Gobi a few times now for a sweet treat after dinner and it never disappoints. The texture of rolled ice cream is different than your traditional scooped ice cream or soft serve, but I love it! It's also cool to be able to watch the workers make your order in front of you. The fruit bowl is my go-to here. I don't know how they do it but all the fruit they put on top is super fresh and delicious every time. Highly recommend this flavor. She is a sucker for Thrifty's Cookies and Cream ice cream, and has been for she was a child. The Shop: Inside you will not find neon colors everywhere and bright lights, instead Tocumbo sticks to its humble self, and sells ice cream and other fun foods like paletas, raspados, etc. Notes: There is plenty of parking, but it can get packed as it shares the lot with a few different shops and restaurants in a strip mall.“

“A popular coffee shop often busy with customers. Have outside patio tables and chairs facing Beach Blvd. Maybe hard to find parking nearby when other stores will open later as it is being remodelled. Coffee tastes fresh and sour and mild coffee.“

“One thing you have to try here is the Kem Bo or Smashed Avocado with Durian Gelato & Nuts. This is seriously the most addicting dessert. My mom accidentally stumbled into this place with a friend and brought me back a Kem Bo. We're both hooked and we've been going back ever since. I normally don't crave desserts but this one is the exception. I've had vietnamese smashed avocado desserts at other places but this one is one of the best I've ever had. The quality of the durian gelato is fantastic and the nuts complement the dessert well. There is smashed avocado and little cubes of it and it's the perfect mix of both textures. I wish they offered mobile order/pay as I do not want to have to wait in a line, but love they have more options than the dole whip stand that does in fact offer dole whip. I really enjoyed the Chile-Mango Whip! For $8.49, I was impressed with the fresh fruit and size of the portion. Easily split this between 2-3 people and be satisfied! Lastly, I love all the decor and the ambiance of the seating once you order. Definitely a must try location even in it is just once!“

“I've been to several locations at this point, and this one is solid just like the others. I do wish Somi Somi would bring back their fruit or mini macaron topping, but I digress. I got the taiyaki and my usual upside down ah-boong. I also went for one of my favorite flavors, the milk, topped with my usual Oreo and graham cracker topping. I got my usual filling as well, the custard. Overall, I was happy. Definitely would come back.“

“Came here after dinner in Fountain Valley. Cool concept here. I've seen it'll over social media of food vendors who use those techniques in other countries but never here. They use an anti griddle to make their concoctions. They have so many different flavors and choices. They have a whole bunch of choices on their walls with pictures, but they have even more choices found on their menu at the counter. They even have drinks and other kinds of desserts. The dessert comes out quickly. You can watch them make it on the anti griddle. The layout is weird. They have more seating towards the back. Even a fooseball table back there to sit and chill. The guy working the register was kinda mean and short; didn't like his attitude or tone. But I think that's just how he is and doesn't mean anything by it. There's no seating outside. So we just ate in the car. I ordered their caramel coconut delight. It tasted good. Light. But creamy. Not overly sweet. If you're able to pry the rolls out of the cup, it's much better to eat 1 roll at a time as you can feel the different layers, as suppose to eating it like ice cream or yogurt. It's a nice variation to the traditional ice cream or soft serve or yogurt you find everywhere else. It's a good way to end the night!!“

“Parking: Very easy even on a Saturday/ Sunday brunch day. I would say to come early to check in on their Yelp waitlist in case their place get's especially busy. If you order all these dishes with a group of 4 people, this will fill you up. Banana Latte: Tasted more of the latte than the banana. Gamberry Rose Pasta: Don't play with the spicy level. It's not death spicy but it's a bit like Shin Ramen spicy. Would not recommend this dish for my non tolerant spicy people. Pasta is wonderful though, sauce was like uni cream, there were bits of masago (tiny fish eggs) to add a nice texture, 2-3 regular shrimp and a jumbo shrimp in the dish. Beet Tataki Salad: Would highly recommend for anyone! The beef was cooked so well, medium rare on the inside and the outside sliced edges were really crispy! Salad was refreshingly and dressed well with their vinaigrette, tomato, and shredded cheese. Gambas: Not my favorite dish. The sliced bread was presented in the skillet so bottom portion of the bread was overly greasy. There was too much olive oil at the bottom of the pan than necessary. Toasted whole garlic and olives, I think the only redeemable feature of the dish would be the shrimp.“

I usually drink sweeter cookie& cream at other place but this place provide a good level of sweet. I personally don't like the almond but my brother really likes it. It's a small place and I think they offer seats. Pretty good, worth a chance trying these drinks. They also offer 1 drinks if u order 9 drinks.“

“We liked their location in Little Tokyo, the concept, its cuteness and their custard. When we saw this shop while walking around downtown Fullerton, it was hard to resist a treat, and some of that nice custard. The store is big, airy, clean, it has nice customer service and barely a line comparing to the one in Little Tokyo, there were barely a couple of people ahead of us. So we got custard with strawberry and biscoff crumble for toppings. Great flavors as usual, fun, a nice treat while taking a break in action in pretty Villa del Sol plaza.“

“This spot has been on my list to try for a while now and I was so glad that I finally got the chance to stop by! Podong is a uniquely Korean inspired boba shop with some of the most interesting drink concoctions. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots and you can find it next to the Gold's gym. Once you walk in, you'll be greeted by a modern nostalgic street style type of interior. They do a great job of juxtaposing nostalgic and retro themes with modern and streetwear ones. As for their drinks, they have such a variety to choose from. Wifey and I opted for the Korean pear slush and the injeolmi slush and both were super refreshing with flavors uniquely Korean. The staff here are awesome and very friendly. We will definitely be back to try their other drinks next time we're in the area!“

We also waited 10 minutes to order. There were a lot of fish tanks every where as well. A few other "regulars" were here gaming in their laptops as well, so it wasn't awkward.
