“Such delicious ice cream/gelato! My kids would walk there from St. Irenaeus in Cypress with Mrs. Hansen for a field trip - that was over 20 years ago! The ice cream was amazing then - and still is. They sell predominately to businesses but we phoned ahead and we were able to purchase a nice selection of 1/2 pints. The young man who assisted was so courteous and helpful! This is the best ice cream/gelato that we have ever had.“
“I ordered the most amazing heart shaped birthday cake. Beautiful and yummy. I bought the largest one ( for 10-12 ppl) and could easily feed 15 people. They have excellent customer service and made sure I was able to make the changes needed to the cake.“
“Subs and Grub has been my favorite sub-shop for over 35 years. It started on Lincoln Ave. and Denny, (I Believe), Owned and operated by a super nice Korean-American, out of work engineer and his wife, and they made the best Tuna or Turkey, Bacon, Avocado Sandwiches, and the subsequent owners, ( 2 that I'm aware of ), have kept the faith and the quality up to my standards, which are extremely high, as I enjoyed the OG subs.Alas, I sold my business in Cypress, so I don't get over that way enough to fulfill my Turkey, Bacon, Avo. and Tuna, Bacon, Avo. Joneses... LOVE you guys!“
“This location has been around for a long time. Always consistent to what you would expect from a DQ. Just expect a crowd on a weekend. They do have a few draw backs. Weekend lines can be very long, and they could use some air circulation, as the facility can be stuffy and hot when crowded.“
“There was a Santa Claus that came in and thanked 4 cops for their service. The cops were eating, it's very safe there, I think...well it feels safe. This place is America. In every way imaginable. Corndogs are amazing. Oddly romantic dine in.Parking: Zero anxiety parking lot.Kid-friendliness: The staff is always friendly and it is just chill there.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps or anything. It's all ground level.“
“Love this Yogurtland! Definitely the cleanest yogurtland I've been too even when it's busy. I went to the garden Grover Yogurtland last week and it was so messy! My family and I definitely prefer going to this one. The manager Madeline is usually there when we come in and she is always on top of everything with cleaning and helping out customers, she is super friendly!! They have a new brown butter flavor and it is one of the best flavors I've tried, I would definitely recommend trying it!!!“
“My family and I love going here for a tasty ice cream treat ? the Graham Central Station ice cream flavor is our absolute favorite!! Can't find anything like it anywhere but Bruster's!Also the employees were so friendly and cheerful as well.“
“This is my favorite restaurant of the year! Exceptional food and service, and I love the ambiance of being in a converted home. The menu is almost constantly changing (so plenty of temptation to go back). The first time I visited Heritage I booked a return trip as soon as I left the restaurant. Fortunately (for my bank account, if not my taste buds) I live a couple of hours away, otherwise who knows how often I'd be there.A must try!“
“Love this place! I always will come here and get a joelatti when I'm in the area. My favorite flavor is mango tango. Workers are very kind whenever I come. The decorations are very nice and stand out. Parking is the only downside. There is limited parking, I will usually park in the neighborhood across the street and walk. My favorite spot!“
“was looking for a dessert place in OC and lo and behold, a italian ice and custard place! my friend and i came around night time and it was fairly busy. there was one man serving and cashiering so understandably there was a small wait. he was so kind and i can tell with every order he was being purposeful with the way he put it together. i ordered the strawberry milkshake and it was sweetness overload in all the right ways. i will say the italian ice itself is not too strong in flavor so i tried to make sure every bite had some custard with it. the place is bright and they have lots of variety of flavors so come and try it out!“
“Honestly, not your typical ice-cream shop! the uniqueness blew my mind! Tried the Strawberry-Honey-Balsamic-Pepper and Chocolate Brownie flavors—both were insanely good. Loved the innovative twist, especially how the balsamic flavor shone through. Don't miss the Olive Oil flavor—it's truly special. Must-try spot in downtown disney! ?“
“Nice purple rice combination with home sick Vietnamese yogurt drink. Rich and creamy. We enjoyed it a lot. Service guy was also kind to offer ice cream samples. Taste home made and not too sweet. Will come back to try ice cream and other drinks!“
“Awsome place to get some cookies. They have different flavors every week which is something I always loveParking: Easy access to parking. Just drive up and get curbside pick up which is super cool . Really recommend if you are trying to get some copies“
“Hands Down The Best DIPS EVER!!! Found these dips at a farmers market and fell in love. I now can get them anytime i want! There is not much to say, all of them are great, i love mixing the garlic spread on a pita then adding a humus and feta cheese to it for a light snack. My all time favorite, the Feta and Pesto Dip!The service is amazing, it always has. Always up for questions and love share their passion for the food that makes up their culture.“
“This is fun for adults too! My sister, brother and law in I came here after seeing this place on Instagram. It was well worth the drive out of LA. The wait was long but worth it, we got there around 1pm on a Saturday, waited about 15 min in line and then another 30-45 minutes after ordering (we just got one to share between the three of us which was PLENTY)The wait was worth it because you can watch the different characters being made which was so fun. And then they call your name so you get a front and center view. I got the lion because I love lions but they have lots of other characters. The amazing thing is - the cotton candy itself once you eat it is delicious! The different colors are also different flavors and it's so light and fluffy. The cotton candy makers are true artists!“
“The best Indian food I have eaten so far since I moved from India which has been over 13 years . We were just visiting LA and our kids love to eat Indian food so we found this restaurant on google and landed here. The food was one of a kind .All the staff and the owner are very kind , polite and hospitable . The owner is very friendly and makes sure everyone is having a good time . I know where to go now if I am craving for an authentic Indian meal ?. If I was living in California , I would be here at least one day of the week . Food has true flavors of indian spices . It definitely feels like the food has been made with so much love . The service was really quick . We were super hungry and barely had to wait for our meals to arrive . I am in love with the food . I would 110% recommend this restaurant ❤️“
“The character ice creams are way too cute. This place is one of my oldest daughter's favorite. I like to take my oldest here sometimes during the summer for a treat or a mother daughter date. She gets different character every time she comes :)“
“Absolutely humongous sizes! I always get the strawberry milk tea with no tea, so it's kind of like strawberry milk. It's very sweet, so I recommend asking for it less sweet. Their boba also always comes out super fresh,s o it is very warm at the bottom of your boba cup.“
“Ive been to Gobi a few times now for a sweet treat after dinner and it never disappoints. The texture of rolled ice cream is different than your traditional scooped ice cream or soft serve, but I love it! It's also cool to be able to watch the workers make your order in front of you. The fruit bowl is my go-to here. I don't know how they do it but all the fruit they put on top is super fresh and delicious every time. Highly recommend this flavor. The workers and nice and there's a few seats inside. Love to support a small local business! 4 stars- will come back if I'm in the area“
“Fresh ice cream! Workers are very attentive and they make food quickly. Taco shell is a waffle cone pretty much and they make it very cute with toppings and colors. Not regular ice cream but made on what I think is an ice stone so consistency is a bit different but not too heavy and delicious“
“A must visit! The milkshakes are to die for and the vibes are cute and cozy. A perfect date night or hangout with friends. They even have vegan ice cream substitutes, games, and serve beer and wine! We just moved to the area last year and passed by this place so many time, so glad we decided to stop in.Vegetarian options: Vegan substitutions available!“
“What we got: Cookies and Cream Ice Cream, Strawberry Paleta I brought the wife to get some ice cream, and she was very very impressed. She is a sucker for Thrifty's Cookies and Cream ice cream, and has been for she was a child. Upon the first couple bites of the Cookies and Cream ice cream she declared, "I think this is better than thrifty's" which is quite a shock! She also sampled the Carrot Cake ice cream which she told me would be worth bombing my lactose intolerant stomach for, but maybe next time. I went with a strawberry paleta de agua. It was good, and straight to the point. It is not fancy, and I've had better ones, but it sure hit the spot! The Shop: Inside you will not find neon colors everywhere and bright lights, instead Tocumbo sticks to its humble self, and sells ice cream and other fun foods like paletas, raspados, etc. Notes: There is plenty of parking, but it can get packed as it shares the lot with a few different shops and restaurants in a strip mall.“
“A popular coffee shop often busy with customers. Have outside patio tables and chairs facing Beach Blvd. Maybe hard to find parking nearby when other stores will open later as it is being remodelled. Coffee tastes fresh and sour and mild coffee.“
“Ice cream is smooth, creamy melt in your mouth delight. I bought a $9 pint of Rocky Road. First day tastes the best. Although, It doesn't taste bad after a few days in the freezer! Also, It's not too chocolatey or excessively sweet like some store brands. So, when you get a chance go getcha some! It's a delicious occasional treat. However, cost wise thrifty ice cream is a better choice! Especially, when it's on sale.“
“I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a tea snob, but y’all, I’m *obsessed* with this place. Like, been four times in the last week-ish obsessed. The hojicha and matcha are so smooth and rich, and I wish they sold iced hojicha by the oil drum. The baristas are friendly and personable, the shop is cute, and the vibes are perfect. I hate that I’ll only be in the area for a little while longer, I would go every single day if I could.“
“The durian ice cream is top tier. I love stopping by here because the service is so amazing. The shop closes at 9pm, but I called and asked if I could stop by after work (I close the shop at 9pm). The sweet old couple stayed and waited for me to drop by she literally had to unlock the shop and sell me the cake. I love this ice cream shop.. I'm going to keep telling all my family and friends about this place.“
“The service was amazing! I went to order the chocolate shake which was an amazing drink! The store is located in San Fransokyo Square, which gives it a futuristic vibe. All seating is outdoors so it may be hard to find a place to sit during the rain, otherwise it was a very nice store to visit!“
“Literally the cutest little shop! If you are a big disney fan this is the place to be! It's like being in the disneyland bakeries. They really thought of everything! I was craving dole whip randomly and we went during the christmas season and the dole whip was themed like the Grinch! So cute!Kid-friendliness: Disney decorated all around! The cookies are gorgeous and mostly disney!“
“Gelato Amore Mio offers exceptional service and desserts at great prices. Their homemade ice cream and gelato are must-tries. The crêpe with strawberries, mango, whipped cream, Nutella, Lechera, and coconut gelato was my favorite. Highly recommended for a top-notch dessert experience!“
“For years, I've seen people walking around with treats from this stand but never tried. I wish they offered mobile order/pay as I do not want to have to wait in a line, but love they have more options than the dole whip stand that does in fact offer dole whip. I really enjoyed the Chile-Mango Whip! For $8.49, I was impressed with the fresh fruit and size of the portion. Easily split this between 2-3 people and be satisfied! Lastly, I love all the decor and the ambiance of the seating once you order. Definitely a must try location even in it is just once!“
“We liked their location in Little Tokyo, the concept, its cuteness and their custard. When we saw this shop while walking around downtown Fullerton, it was hard to resist a treat, and some of that nice custard. The store is big, airy, clean, it has nice customer service and barely a line comparing to the one in Little Tokyo, there were barely a couple of people ahead of us. So we got custard with strawberry and biscoff crumble for toppings. Great flavors as usual, fun, a nice treat while taking a break in action in pretty Villa del Sol plaza.“
“I've been to several locations at this point, and this one is solid just like the others. I do wish Somi Somi would bring back their fruit or mini macaron topping, but I digress. I got the taiyaki and my usual upside down ah-boong. I also went for one of my favorite flavors, the milk, topped with my usual Oreo and graham cracker topping. I got my usual filling as well, the custard. Overall, I was happy. Definitely would come back.“
“Ice cream is always delicious. Been eating there for years. I was introduced to Rita’s ice cream parlor when I went back Houston Pennsylvania and my husband introduced me to. It had no idea it existed here on the West Coast up until I went to the East Coast.“
“You'll miss this place if you're not looking for it. It's a little gem hidden in a big street. They have a fun menu with interesting items like their "j latti" which is shaved ice with soft serve ice cream; it's great. They also have traditional stuff like sundaes, banana splits, and even milkshakes. It's family owned and the owners are cordial. Prices are reasonable and portions are great. My only gripe is that it's a little bit run down and there are only a few benches outside which aren't very well kept. It's still cozy enough especially in the evening.“
“As a person who loves ice cream, I'd say the ice cream is bomb here! I love the different flavors they offer, and the ice cream overall is a nice, creamy texture. The cups and spoons are all anime themed too which adds character to the ice cream. This small ice cream shop is decorated well and service is great. I asked about recommended ice cream flavors and was very pleased with the friendly service. I sampled three flavors and I chose an earl grey with caramel scoop which is based off an anime called "My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!" These special flavors are only available until early December, according to the employee who helped us out. For the single scoops, you're only allowed to choose one flavor, so if you want two different flavored scoops, you'd have to get their double scoop or larger. The single scoop cup was $5, which isn't bad because the portion sizes are generous, and they don't skimp on the servings. They also have a rewards stamp card for every visit. I'd come back again to try other flavors they offer here. Lastly there is free parking in the small lot where it's located.“
“Absolutely delightful! My visit to this charming ice cream shop in Seal Beach, California was a truly delightful experience. The variety of both dairy and non-dairy options was a pleasant surprise, and the quality of the ice cream was top-notch. In particular, the chocolate chip oat milk ice creamwas simply divine - a perfect blend of flavors that left me craving more. The staff's warm and friendly demeanor made the visit even more enjoyable. Their excellent service and genuine enthusiasm for their ice cream creations added a special touch to the overall experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and can't wait to explore more of their mouthwatering flavors. If you're in the area and craving some of the best scoops of ice cream you've ever had, this place is an absolute must-visit. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet and satisfying treat. I'll definitely be coming back for more - this shop has won me over!“
“One thing you have to try here is the Kem Bo or Smashed Avocado with Durian Gelato & Nuts. This is seriously the most addicting dessert. My mom accidentally stumbled into this place with a friend and brought me back a Kem Bo. We're both hooked and we've been going back ever since. I normally don't crave desserts but this one is the exception. I've had vietnamese smashed avocado desserts at other places but this one is one of the best I've ever had. The quality of the durian gelato is fantastic and the nuts complement the dessert well. There is smashed avocado and little cubes of it and it's the perfect mix of both textures. My mom, dad, and aunt all loved it and I can't wait to show more people.“
“So so so delicious! I made the mistake of not looking at pictures of the serving sizes before going and ordered a triple to share with my husband. For two people in the smaller side I thought it was going to kill us there was so much ice cream! They definitely do not skimp on sizes here.We order the Vietnamese coffee, cookie butter, and banana boy flavors and all were incredible, especially the banana boy. So great to have a dairy-free (vegan) spot to come to, even though it's an hour and a half from my house ?Only downside was how small the shop is. There was only one other group of people in the shop sitting down and there still wasn't enough room for my husband and I, so we took our treats to the car.“
“Received amazing service from the owner Mohammed. a custom cake one day in advance. The cake was custom from the ice cream down to the colors and I was even able to add a picture on top. Mohammed was very responsive and courteous. Great location and not too busy.“
“SO BOMBALICIOUS LIKE 9/11 they all taste so good sum r rlly sweet tho but my fav is sum peanut butter 1 that had chocolate and I was craving peanut butter so it was so bomb I loved it and u should go guys they're so delicious XOXO gossip girl“
“My children and I are visiting the area and we're brought to try this dessert spot and it hit the spot! The kids and I (who isn't a really big fan of dessert) enjoyed ourselves. We got the cookies n cream with a Nutella filled fish.“
“This review is solely on the giant donut.... My birthday was last week and I wanted something different from regular ole birthday cake. I remember book marking this place after seeing a BIG donut! When my mom asked me what kind of cake I wanted I requested one of these. It did NOT disappoint. It was freaking delicious!!! Even my husband who isn't a huge donut fan really liked it! He thought it would be dried out and not good. It was so soft and fresh. Mmmmmm Even the leftovers the next morning were scrumptious! (I wrapped it in plastic wrap). The rest of my family enjoyed it too. The chocolate 44 numbers were also tasty so I'm sure the rest of their donuts are great as well. I can't wait to go in store and see what they have.“
“I've been coming to Almond Haus throughout the years and love this spot! I just started coming back more frequently for their Almond Milk tea It's the same consistent taste every time I've ordered it.I want to take the time to shoutout Duyen! Today was my first time having her be my cashier. Duyen made sure to take the time to show that she was genuinely excited to be serving these drinks to the customers So thankful to have run into her this time around. She made the experience so much better by just being interactive and engaging with customers even if it's just for a moment. I pulled my phone out while I was waiting for my drinks to write this review!! I already had a reason to come here because of their Almond milk tea but Duyen just sealed the deal just by being herself. Now off to drink both of my almond milk teas!! (it's good get it)“
“Came here after dinner in Fountain Valley. Cool concept here. I've seen it'll over social media of food vendors who use those techniques in other countries but never here. They use an anti griddle to make their concoctions. They have so many different flavors and choices. They have a whole bunch of choices on their walls with pictures, but they have even more choices found on their menu at the counter. They even have drinks and other kinds of desserts. The dessert comes out quickly. You can watch them make it on the anti griddle. The layout is weird. They have more seating towards the back. Even a fooseball table back there to sit and chill. The guy working the register was kinda mean and short; didn't like his attitude or tone. But I think that's just how he is and doesn't mean anything by it. There's no seating outside. So we just ate in the car. I ordered their caramel coconut delight. It tasted good. Light. But creamy. Not overly sweet. If you're able to pry the rolls out of the cup, it's much better to eat 1 roll at a time as you can feel the different layers, as suppose to eating it like ice cream or yogurt. It's a nice variation to the traditional ice cream or soft serve or yogurt you find everywhere else. It's a good way to end the night!!“
“Love this place as a great treat to take my grandkids : ))Delicious flavors to choose from and a very nice buffet selection of toppings. Always clean and well stocked. The owner is very nice and personable. Thank you for providing such a great mainstay for our community!“
“I can't say anything about the product. However, I drop my kids at school a block away and stop for my Starbucks daily. And every morning, I see this older couple in the store cleaning together. Without fail. Every morning. They don't open until noon, but 8am, there they are.“
“Parking: Very easy even on a Saturday/ Sunday brunch day. I would say to come early to check in on their Yelp waitlist in case their place get's especially busy. If you order all these dishes with a group of 4 people, this will fill you up. Banana Latte: Tasted more of the latte than the banana. Gamberry Rose Pasta: Don't play with the spicy level. It's not death spicy but it's a bit like Shin Ramen spicy. Would not recommend this dish for my non tolerant spicy people. Pasta is wonderful though, sauce was like uni cream, there were bits of masago (tiny fish eggs) to add a nice texture, 2-3 regular shrimp and a jumbo shrimp in the dish. Beet Tataki Salad: Would highly recommend for anyone! The beef was cooked so well, medium rare on the inside and the outside sliced edges were really crispy! Salad was refreshingly and dressed well with their vinaigrette, tomato, and shredded cheese. Gambas: Not my favorite dish. The sliced bread was presented in the skillet so bottom portion of the bread was overly greasy. There was too much olive oil at the bottom of the pan than necessary. Toasted whole garlic and olives, I think the only redeemable feature of the dish would be the shrimp.“
“Found them on Facebook and finally came to try out their Dole ice-cream. The spot is cute tiki style. Dole pineapple and raspberry swirl was really good and they gave me a big size sample of mango which was also good. I believe the owner was here. He was super nice and friendly. I highly recommend the pineapple and raspberry swirl and this place.“
“Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had so far with modern coffee shops.Went during the weekend so it was definitely busy but worth the wait nonetheless.Presentation is on point with drinks and desserts, the interior has that modern Korean coffee shop vibe (if that’s your thing) and service and staff were friendly. If I’m looking for coffee and dessert, this is the place I’ll definitely be coming back to.“
“Was extremely sad to find my fave sweet spot in Cerritos had closed down. I happened to be in the area, which is rare, so I popped into their cypress location despite not having any cash (it'll cost you 20cents more to swipe, so bring cash if possible!) and having left my stamp card at home. I can't remember the last time I visited this location, so it took me back to the good ole days, haha. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a cheerful gal who quickly helped me to a few samples. I let her know my go-to was their taro flavor. She recommended taro and strawberry with their vanilla chocolate swirl. I am not sure if I ever tried this combo. It was so good that I decided to upgrade myself up to a large. No regrets. Lol. The only reason for the 4 star is because there was no AC on this hot day. I felt bad for the worker.“
