“The one person that was on staff was slammed. Multiple "party orders", shame on manager to be short staffing a day that is big for them. I am aware there is a major labor shortage, but companies are getting through it without sacrificing employees they have. Anyway, she did great. Was very apologetic, I assured her it wasn't a big deal. Another man did as well, who was there to get his party platter. Being nice to one another, or just not being a tool, can change things quickly into a positive environment. Be kind.“

“Fast and friendly service. Ordered a Combo with the Turkey Club and a Green Smoothie. Everything was made fresh. The sandwich had the perfect amount of ingredients, and they didn't overdo the garlic aioli.This is my second time here, and both times have been very good.This is a mom & pop shop, but the food is good. “Food: Corned beef, Saurkraut, Mustard on Rye Looking for a solid sandwich that is not another one of those subway, Mike's or Jimmy's kind of spots? Fritz as I like to call it a solid choice. The sandwich I ordered was made fresh, used some good ingredients and best of all... was delicious. The pickle bar on the side is a nice touch and allows you to load up on some pickled goodness. The shop: Inside there is plenty of tables, and some even have small games you can play while you hang out and eat. There is also a fridge that has premade frozen meals that one can come in a buy for later. Notes: My sandwich and chips was about $15 total. That's about the same as any other sandwich place as far as pricing goes.“

“Dutch crunch bread is really good, I love bread and this just hits all the right notes. Most of the sandwiches are quite tasty here and can't really go wrong with any. It's all about the bread choice and the Dutch crunch is by far the best“

“One of the best Bah Mi I have ever had! Came a few months ago and have been dying to come back. The taste and flavor is so good I think about it all the time. The service is amazing, too. The man who runs the store is very kind and gave us extra goodies like waffles, little bananas and free Jasmine ice tea. Absolute bang for your buck. Only downside is it is not a sit down restaurant.“

“Before the change of ownership, I often visited CJ Deli. They always use fresh ingredients and the portions are generous.I especially enjoy their vegetable burrito, which is tastier than other places.Although there's a new owner now, they also greet me with a smile and kindness, which is nice.“

“Good small family owned spot. The staff is super friendly and helpful if you have questions. Theresa helped us and was knowledgeable about the menu and made good suggestions. I see her help others make selections as well. Not only was she helpful but had a mailed for everyone that came through the door. The BBQ smells delicious but we went for a cold sandwich. Next time will definitely try the BBQ. We got The Guido which is a fully loaded Italian sandwich with Ham, Mortadella and Soppressata . It's everything you look for in an Italian sandwich, the meat is quality and the ham has a nice smokiness. The bread is super fresh and soft and fluffy. The acidity from the dressing cut the fatty delicious nature of the cured meats perfectly. They have a good selection of soda's that are made with real can sugar which is nice. They have a small patio out front that is dog friendly. Definitely will be back for both the food and the great service.“

“A hidden gem! The store seems to be a mom and pop store with great food! We got the huckleberry club and the cashew chicken. The price is great for the price you pay. The vegetables were the freshest ones ever! The squaw had a nice taste that paired well with the chicken. The pickles in the sandwiches were sooo good; they had a great crunch and acidity. However, it was kinda messy and the bread is a bit small for how many toppings were inside. I will definitely bc coming back!“

“Been trying to try out different banh mi shops all over OC to give smaller shops and different businesses my service. Found this place on Yelp nearby the area we were in. The man who's probably the owner was very nice although he didn't speak much English. He knew enough to take your order though. They have different bakeries on the counter and even a refrigerator full of cold goodies as well. I even saw frozen egg rolls to take home to fry yourself. I ordered 4 special dac biet banh mis at around ~$6.50 each which were decently priced because they're overpriced here in San Diego and very much so in Hawaii at $10 each which I recently got back from vacationing. I also grabbed a bakery item on the counter that looks good. I don't know what it was but it had a salted duck egg on top. I asked the man if it was sweet like a dessert and he said no but I'm not sure if he fully understood me. We ate the banh mi the next day since we always buy to bring back home. After refrigeration and microwaving it was still delicious and the bread was very soft and fluffy and not because it was soggy or anything. I should have taken a photo of the inside of the sandwich I ate but I was too hungry and forgot.“

“Amazing food, taking a page out of Schlotzky's book with the warm bread and flavor. Service was a bit slow, that's why it's 4-stars. A similar shop (Moe's in Orange) can pull off equal flavor in 1/4 the time. That said, it's worth the wait - but be prepared to wait about 15 minutes post order. I'd definitely go back, but would order in advance. If you like Dutch crunch bread, this is your jam.“

“Holy smokes this place deserves all the stars. First, shout out to the two girls who helped us. They were not only incredibly kind and patient, they were super helpful. They were the girls working the register and the other making sandwiches at the counter. Thank you both for your help! Now the food- the hoagie bread is fresh and flavorful. All four of us loved our food. I ordered the veggie hoagie hot- probably the best veggie sandwich I have ever had. Mushrooms, peppers and onions sautéed together topped with thick avocado slices. Can't wait to come back and try the pretzel and chicken parmigiana along with many others that caught our eye. They also sell some east coast comfort snacks like Tasty Kake which my fiancé had to have. Sadly, it's the only thing I was able to get a picture of because we demolished our food. Ambiance is nostalgic, old deli with signage and a TV. They have both indoor seating (about 3 or 4 small tables) and outdoor seating on the covered patio. Parking is plentiful with the private lot with minimal street parking.“

“I've been here a few times and decided to try their pastrami sandwich. It was not what I expected. It was too gooey and saucy for a pastrami sandwich and skimpy on the meat. The pastrami itself was small pieces and shreds as opposed to slices. (Go somewhere that specializes in pastrami if that's what you're craving. ) I've had other sandwiches here particularly the Boss and Turkey Salad sandwich. Both are prepared perfectly with generous amounts of meat and veggies. Overall, wonderful service, great quality, other than the pastrami.“

Lots of options on menu, with classic cheesesteaks, chicken varieties, different variations on fries with toppings, and east coast branded products (chips, and root beer). The interior is decorated with Philadelphia sports memorabilia. Although supporting the North Jersey and NYC sports teams the food is worth the exposure to the Eagles banners. Lol. I am writing this review specifically for the care the team took tonight 3/20 7pm on my mobile order for my daughter, who will be late coming home from school. They actually read my special instructions note and took great care to follow through with my weird request of wrapping the bread and veggie/meats separately so that her bread wouldn’t get soggy. I am impressed. I feel like custom request especially on a mobile order get overlooked! Great attention to detail! So happy!“

“My Favorite THH Banh Mi Sandwiches are their Shredded Chicken Breast Sandwich & their Grilled Pork Sandwich, both of these Banh Mi sandwiches are served on a freshly baked baguette, topped with a flavorful mayo (ask for extra :) the tiniest dash of soy sauce, tangy shredded pickled carrots, daikon radishes, fresh cilantro, crispy cucumber & thinly sliced spicy jalapeños. I went in expecting average Banh Mi but that delicious grilled chicken sandwich I ate came toasted by default, super fresh and abundant ingredients, and the sauce was hella good. The limited-time sandwiches were a flavor explosion! The Jamaican jerk sauce had just the right amount of spice, leaving me craving more. The THC has a good blend of ingredients down to the crunch of the hot cheetos. The Patrick was a standout, my first time having a corned beef sandwich. I'm glad I got the Emerald sauce on the side though because I think it's horseradish which I'm not much of a fan of. You really can't go wrong with any order. Portion sizes are generous - I can barely finish half a sandwich in one sitting, but the leftovers taste just as good days later. My boyfriend, on the other hand, seems to have no trouble devouring his entire meal. Zapp's Chips are amazing, you can't go wrong with Mesquite Bar-B-Que, but the Hotter 'n Hot Jalapeno flavor is still my favorite. They have a nice crunch and give a nice kick, a unique flavor I haven't found in other Jalapeno flavored chips. I just tried Voodoo Heat and it's tasty, it tastes like a mix of vinegar, sweet barbecue and jalapeno. I didn't see anything on the website regarding eco-packaging or sustainability efforts, bummer. Located in a shopping plaza, you'll have no issues finding free parking in the lot. The ambiance is casual. There are a few tables for inside seating but no outside seating. Price has definitely gone up but so has everything in the world. I think for the amount of food you are getting and the quality, the price is right. I had a mixed experience on my recent visit regarding service. I ordered through the mobile app on a Friday around 4 PM. The estimated pick-up time was 20 minutes. I got there 15 minutes after ordering and my order for three sandwiches was ready, no wait! However, I felt the staff could have been more attentive and friendly. As I was walking in, I saw an employee at the front counter, however, they walked to the back of the store although I'm quite sure they saw me. So now I was just standing there with no one helping me for a good minute or two before another employee from the back saw and helped me. They knew right away which one my order was and handed it over. I said thank you and that was it and they walked away. Maybe, it was a one-off. A little more acknowledgment and engagement with customers would go a long way in enhancing the overall experience.“

“I understand the topic of bad customer service these days has been beaten to death in the news and social media but this Philly’s location really took the cake.We went to pick up our phone order tonight and the young lady who charged us and handed us our bag was so unbelievably rude.My husband and I were very polite and for whatever reason got three eyerolls out of her in our 60 second transaction.We walked back in immediately because something was missing from our order and she acted like it was OUR fault. She gave it to us with an extra eyeroll before we left. We must have been inconveniencing her.Food here is fantastic, and that deserves at least 4 stars in my opinion, but I will not return to this location.“

“The Jersey Mike's Subway was delicious. The second half was even better on the second day.One thing that kind of bugs me is their reference of vinegar and oil as "juice". Sandwich juice seems a bit gross. The staff were very nice and efficient. One man took my order, cut the baguette, and put the meat on the bread. The second Staff added the vegetables and juice, while the third rung me up.The site is relatively new. Clean and uncluttered.“

I was surprised at how average the ratings are here. Line moves quick and I saw a lot of people going in just for their bread. It was hard to read the menu since it was so far and tiny. I was able to just snap a photo and look on my phone. The round football small sandwiches are buy 2 get 1 free. They are $6.50 each. I ordered 2 cold cuts and 1 grilled beef. Last night I only had the cold cut and I was surprised at how good it was! The pate was pretty good which is rare when I'm trying out different businesses.“

“Excellent smash burger. I got the double wagyu smash cheeseburger and made it a combo with garlic fries and drink. Both are delicious. Anyone who is familiar with the Freddie's chain (Freddie's is not in CA to my knowledge), this is the style of burger here. Dipping sauce is 35c. The ranch dressing is actually good, made fresh, and not the weird generic bottled ranch most places give. (Sorry no pics, I was pretty hungry.)“

“I am writing this review based on the stellar service, particularly from Kevin. I was so impressed by the person and any business would be beyond lucky to have him. He actually comes off as he genuinely cares, and I think this is increasingly rare in this world -- he is a breath of fresh air and truly blew me away with his service and care. I am visiting and my friend wanted to eat there. I am vegan and the store has little to offer in the way of vegan options. I asked what could be done for someone who is vegan and words can't describe how attentive and caring he was during the whole process. He made suggestions, took notes amidst kind chat and assurances that weren't even asked for, and then at the end, he even double checked, asking the person who cooked it, again without my asking, "You didn't put cheese on it, did you?" These types of people really should be recognized and I hope he is. We go through days full of people trying to get through the hum drum, collect their measly checks and go home. And nobody can blame them -- things are hard these days. But it makes people like Kevin even more of a rarity and I really hope his display of exceptional character is rewarded.“

“The sandwich is price, about 15 bucks for one, but it is delicious. Their sourbread is amazing and the size is like 2 servings depending how hungry you are. I love their creative names. Only thing I didn't appreciate was the tomatoes I requested off, thankfully not allergic and could take it off. Other than that, it satisfied my sandwich craving. Also, their vegetarian section is commendable, they looked so tasty and I'm not a vegetarian myself but enjoy seeing the options for friends.“

“If I go to the South Coast Plaza, I'm also going to Philly's Best. They have the best cheesesteak on the West Coast IMO. My go to is the Classic Cheesesteak with raw onions and I get the hot peppers on the side. I also get half onion rings and half fries. The guys that work there are very nice and accommodating. The restaurant is clean. What surprised me today is they switched from Wise potato chips to Herrs. I am a Jersey girl, I was expecting Wise because I wanted the Garlic and Onion chips. I know Herrs is a Philly brand and just as good. They didn't have Peanut Chews either. It wasn't a big deal because I was really there for the cheesesteak which did not disappoint. I know they have a cheesesteak joint in K-Town, which I do visit every now and then because they are closer to me, but they always leave me wishing it was Philly's Best!“

“My first time ever having Firehouse Subs and I can see the appeal! I got the hook and ladder sub and it was prepared pretty quickly. It was packed with ingredients and it was the perfect temperature. I also love the slice of pickle they give you and pairs perfectly with the sandwich. I also ordered a side of chips to add an extra crunch to my meal.The inside is pretty spacious with a lot of seating available. I love the interior decorations that really honor our first responders. Staff was friendly and parking was plentiful. Highly recommend checking out Firehouse Subs for your next sandwich craving!“

“The owner of this subway is the kindest person I've met in ages.. I came in in the morning just to get a coffee and charge my phone so I could call triple a because my car and phone are dead. Actually try the food, use your hand sanitizer, God knows since covid everyone has some.Anyways on to my review:Was expecting an Italian deli. Looks like it was originally one only but now it's under new management/ownership? I originally wanted a deli sandwich but saw they were also basically a Korean restaurant, I ordered the beef bulgolgi burrito. This was pretty tasty. I just wish they was more meat and instead of lettuce to use kimchi instead. A little pricey considering there wasn't any one else in the shop. I think if they lowered it by a dollar would still be reasonable. I do recommend the burrito.“
