“This place is an outstanding night out. It's not something we do every week because it was about $50 pp with drinks but none-the-less, great service, food was outstanding and not pretentious at all. The owner came by our table to introduce himself and the entire staff was really accommodating. Will absolutely be going back!“

“Easy to book a table and was even able to change party number an hour before the reservation.Party of 8 to celebrate a birthday on Sunday 7;45pm - everything was great! The food, services, speed of everything!! (the drinks took the longest)Would definitely come back again for special occasion :)“

“This was my first visit to Jack's and I was pleasantly surprised. I heard good things from friends and am glad I took their suggestion as I think I've discovered the most delicious restaurant-made Mac n Cheese out there. I went with the Classic Mac to try first before venturing into their more elaborate Mac options. It did not disappoint. The Mai Tai I ordered was balanced and flavorful, very well made! The service was phenomenal as well. Our empty plates were regularly cleared, our waitress was kind and attentive, and even a gentleman who appeared to be the manager assisted with offering a bag for our takeout boxes. Will definitely be back to try their breakfast!“

“Two visits about a decade apart; I am a regular! I have nothing bad to say-service is good and prompt, food fresh and hot...had an outstanding draft German Pilsner last weekend. It had been a very long time since I had a draft German beer. Lesson for me? Take a break from the strong CA IPAs once in awhile. :)“

“The pan-fried buns are juicy and delicious. If you’re afraid of spicy food, remember to order the grilled fish without it, as it’s still very spicy even if it’s slightly spicy. The cold dishes sent in the comments are also very refreshing and delicious.“

“I had the Polenta, delicious! They have a varied menu with several Greek items. There is patio dining when the weather warms up. It can get a little noisy inside. We were there while a basketball game was on. Highly recommend a visit here.“
“Found this spot via Yelp and it did not disappoint. Large, clean space with fairly new equipment. Restrooms clean too. Drinks and food available. Affordable pricing. I would estimate about 25 pool tables total. My friend and I waited less than 10 mins to get a table on a busy Friday night. Employees were friendly and it was a great spot to hang out and play pool with TVs surrounding, music playing, etc. Would definitely return!“

“My cousin went to this restaurant few days ago with me. The service and food are both great. This is an American-Japanese fusion restaurant and we just had perfect steak and fish filet, also the waiter is fantastic, very friendly and talkative. I'll go back again for sure!“

“Could not have been more pleased with this restaurant! It felt like dining with family (in a very good way)! The food was stunning. Easily the best Italian food in the U.S, (possibly in the world)The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the location and the food quality. One of the owners sat and chatted with us for a few minutes. Very nice family that also owns another Italian restaurant just up the street. Apparently there is live music on Monday nights. We will be back!“

“Hidden gem amazing food reasonably priced great service!! I was blown away by the quality of the fish and overall presentation. It's a small restaurant that many locals were dining in and getting takeout from while we were there. I will definitely be going back next time we are in the area!!“
“This post is overdue but felt it was necessary! After a day of celebrating a birthday with some friends, we all decided we wanted to go someplace close to our house to watch some sports and get some food/drinks. We stumbled across Hidden Tap & Barrel and ended up having an amazing time. We were one of the only people there, and our bartender/server, Monica went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. My girlfriend doesn't drink, so Monica took it upon herself to experiment with mocktail recipes, all which were delicious. Her energy and vibe kept our party going and we just loved her. We ordered a couple of pizzas from the connected Curry Pizza House, which was delicious. The bar itself is extremely clean and modern, with lots of TVs. We will definitely be back and hopefully have Monica as our bartender again!“

“Second time trying this place and this time it was better. Still sad not about the banchan but I'm just spoiled being from Koreatown LA. The food was really good, super clean place, portions are still big and shareable. Service was fast and friendly, bathroom was very clean and place was still insta cute. Definitely coming back when getting a craving for some Korean food.“
“I’m a music producer/DJ and put on a gig here celebrating my recent album release. It was a total blast, and the staff went out of their way to address my vision for the event without any hesitation. This is a great space for any up and coming musical artist that is looking for an intimate venue with flexible options for stage/furniture layout, sound equipment, lighting and more. I didn’t have to bring any of my supplemental audio equipment to the gig as a lot of it was provided by the venue - that was super convenient! My audience had a fantastic time and I will definitely be playing more DJ gigs here!“

“This bar is perfect! Moved into the area looking for a local dive and this is the best spot. Robert (the owner) has fostered an environment filled with amazing people, from staff to customers. Non-pretentious karaoke bar where folks support each other regardless of skill, and are just there for a good time. You can bring in outside food if you're looking for a bite to eat. Couldn't recommend this place enough.“

“The food was amazing and the service was just as good. The wait times were incredibly low and the food came to our table within 5 minutes. The bathrooms could use a little work but the appearance and atmosphere was nice and cozy nun the less. 10/10 definitely recommend eating here.Dietary restrictions: Me and my father went here while on a road trip from morro bay to San Francisco. About a 40 minute drive out of San Francisco. My father has celiac disease and he can't have any sort of gluten. There were multiple options of food and they brought gluten free soy sauce out to our table at no expense“

“1st time being here, we really enjoyed the service and good atmosphere, coming to food buffet on weekend we have 16 main course dishes + fruits + drinks( lemonade + mango lassi), +$1 extra for panipuri. Chicken entrees are not at all good, enjoyed the mutton curry and mutton biryani. Paneer appetizer is nothing but deep fried, gobi Manchuria, methi paneer are good. They have option of garlic naan served to the table, which is very tasty and fluffy.Overall for food I would rate 3.5/5 and ambience and service 4.5/5“
“Supports local comedy. Karaoke. Pool table. Fun vibe. I have been to the Plaza so many times, and I would've never thought that I would find a bar like this in the middle of this Plaza. It's got a pool table in the back. There's a little stage for local talents. The owner is super cool. He completely supports local entertainment and arts. He's really easy to work with. The bar keeps are all chill and easy to get along with. Tiffani is so sweet and has such a good heart. Dan has been so helpful and has gone out of his way to make the experience here. Absolutely amazing. I know I'm gonna keep coming back.“

“We wandered in to Milagros for lunch and were soon greeted and taken to the cute patio area. We ordered chips and salsa, and got three delicious salsas and a bucket of fantastic tortilla chips. My niece had a fish taco and I had the chicken taquitos. She loved her taco, and the taquitos were absolutely perfect. Jose 'el diablo', ? was our waiter. He was entertaining and likeable, very sweet and funny. The service was beyond reproach.“

“Cool hidden away local (dive?) bar! Wouldn't have even known it existed excepts friends band issues there. Looks like regulars must frequent the place. Decent set of beers on tap. Pool table. Some scattered seating. Great music atmosphere. I think the mic audio could be slightly improved cuz it was a little distorted but it's all good. Clearly a little older crowd.“

“I once knew a girl, we worked at South West YMCA camp, jeepers was it 1984? Fast forward to 2002 I randomly saw her in this bar and time hasn’t passed. We said our goodnight, but this a meet zone that has legs…it’s an older established neighborhood bar, a meeting zone. You should check it out. From my experience, there are a few ground rules, ready?Be good or be gone…No matter the size of your entourage, you don’t own this place, we are all transitioning throughout, so calm down. The deputy mayor of the town is at the end of the bar. The local doctor is at the bar, the local plumber that will fix all of your issues is at the bar, so tread lightly before you blow this place up with your outside view.Back to my original point of view, you don’t own this place with your ca$h, they own the history and you borrow it for a few hours. Be good or be gone.“
“It's a good old fashioned pub. Nothing fancy, just a nice comfortable place to have a drink and make a friend. There is a large outside area where you can smoke and have a drink, which is hard to find. It's my go to place after a hard days work. The service is the best !!“

“For sure 5 star and will tell you why ... this is not some fancy bar or all done up. It is a dive bar and when you want a dive bar you want. Good people Feel welcome first time in Pool tables Darts And that little edge you just want Most important any dive bar does not always measure , like some trendy place all you can taste is the fruit juice. Naw this is the place for a very far pour. PBR on tap and Jell-O shots when available. Come and just try the place you will enjoy it“

“This spot is my favorite Cuban restaurant in South Bay! I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed. The ambience transports you when you walk in! It's a great lively restaurant for date nights, anniversaries, or even a post work dinner with coworkers. Whether you're sitter by the bar or their more intimate dining room, the vibes are immaculate and the servers take good care of you! We sat by the bar and went an hour after they opened on a Wednesday night- they weren't too busy quite yet, but soon picked up. They brought us house bread and we ordered the croquetas and shrimp ceviche to start. The ceviche is good balance of tanginess and spicy. It's served on bread soaked up with the sauce, but somehow not soggy, which they nail every time! The shrimp was cooked to perfection and had great flavor. The pollo croquetas were a special that night and absolutes melted in your mouth. The aoli was an excellent addition to this dish. All the flavors come through even without the sauce. For our main course we ordered arroz con pollo served with my favorite, plantains! The chicken was tender and melted in your mouth. It was well seasoned and as always the flavors were dancing on my tongue haha. We got the plantain crusted goat cheese salad with delicious sherry vinaigrette! It was light and fresh and a great way to end our meal. I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to explore authentic Cuban food :)“

“We have mixed feelings because our first visit, we absolutely loved the food, the attentive and fast service, and the beautiful outdoor patio! We found their burger to be very tasty/juicy despite us asking for it a bit more well done, and the brussels sprouts were so good. Wagyu Cheeseburger - 9/10, very tasty and was fantastic the first time we ordered. The second time, we felt it was a bit dry unfortunately so seems hit or miss. Pork Tenderloin - 7/10, an interesting take on the dish and not bad. We just didn't feel like the portions and uniqueness made up for the hefty price tag Green Garden Rice - 2/10, definitely wouldn't order again. We ordered it to try the hojicha but it was mostly watery at the bottom and mostly tasted pretty bland. The second and third times we've visited - we asked to sit outside and were denied due to another reservation that never seemed to show up in the 2 hours we ended up dining there. Instead, we were given a darker table in the back and we had to ask twice for the happy hour menu despite having 30min left on the actual happy hour event. Food was more dry (burger) the second time, and their Popcorn Chicken appetizer - while the idea is cute and fun, only had a few pieces of chicken with mostly a full bag of popcorn so we didn't feel like it was worth the price.“

“Pedro’s Santa Clara is a beautiful venue. We had a delightful and lovely dining experience today for Easter Sunday Brunch. We were also serenaded which added a special touch to our dining experience. There was an array of foods served up and to choose from from the buffet. I enjoyed their prime rib and chicken tamale the most along with their mini flan…(I had 3 servings of their mini flans!!!). Their servers were attentive and the team were quite organized and coordinated especially today. Thank you for taking our group pic. We will be back soon.“
“I was blown away by the great vibe, cool surroundings, and top notch customer service. Very fast and friendly bartender and kitchen manager. Live music on a Thursday! I had a blast with friends sipping wine, eating, and dancing. The pool in the background looks awesome as well. Highly recommend if you are in this area. Hidden gem.“
“I remember the Pioneer Saloon from when I lived in the Bay Area and worked in Silicon Valley. I came there with friends over a few decades and enjoyed the live music. And, way back in 1975, my brother, Tom Martin, was a first live music performer at the Pioneer Saloon. Tom is still a singer songwriter performer.“
“I had a very positive experience with the company from beginning to end. The entire staff was pleasant and helpful. Very delighted with roller garage door; it looks great and does the job well; neighbours have commented on how wonderful it looks. Thanks.“

“My husband and I visited Shoreline Lake for a quick bike ride the other weekend, and I was surprised at home much there is to do in the area! Shoreline Lake seems like a great date or lunch spot, where you can go on a hike or do an activity, and then have a snack. There was free parking in front of the restaurant, and from there we were able to unload and explore the many trails around the lake. There's seating at the restaurant both inside and outside, and picnic tables near the restaurant if you bring your own food. The restaurant also had lockers and lake equipment rentals. For lunch, I had a chicken sandwich. The baguette was nice and the homemade chips were excellent. The flavors on the sandwich were just ok for me, so I would try the veggie burger next time. My husband had the breakfast sandwich, but my favorite part of the meal was the granola he got with it! Service was a little bit slow and there's not a ton of variety in the options, but the quality is good for the price. We will be back for a date another time. It also seems like a nice place to take family or out of town friends.“

“We had their spicy topokki, clam soup, seafood pancake, grilled squid and fried whole chicken. Every dish was done well, impressed with their seafood pancake, crispy outside and moist inside. Perfectly seasoned. They don't provide banchan at the table. Slight disappointment.“

“Went for dinner last Saturday, my husband and I both got a combination plate. He had a fish taco and a carne asada taco, I had a fish taco and Carnita enchilada. We both had a mango margarita. The margaritas were very good, tasted like fresh mango was used rather than the typical mango syrup. The food was pretty good, and good portions.“

“Stumbled on Metro first day here on a work trip looking for breakfast and beer and wow! This place is the bomb. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The egg yokes were so deep orange I knew they were farm fresh, and the hash browns grilled to perfection. Service was fast and spot on. Tap beer had a Lucky7 local IPA which was fantastic. “Came for a sat lunch. A bit busy. Only one server but she was very nice and polite.Food is excellent. Great flavors. We got the pork katsu and beef tongue. Really good.Fish roe over rice and uni also very tasty. The uni flan is more a Japanese influence French cuisine. My wife liked it but it just ok for me. Chicken karake also very good, crispy and tender while not being hard with good flavors.Would visit again and maybe try dinner as they have an extended menu“
“Aloft Sunnyvale on its own is good enough value for money spent. However, what truly stood out was the customer ser ice of its front desk. Shoutout to Michelle for helping me out a ton when I was trying to extend my stay. No excuses were made and she found a way to get it done even under difficult circumstances. Roy was also great with the room upgrade when he saw that I had brought a friend and might have needed a bigger bed. 10/10 Customer Service!“

“Oh what a find!! We've passed by this place so many times but never had the chance to go in. This time we did and boy was it worth it! Great knowledgeable hosts with a sense of humor that goes hand in hand with the ambiance. Food was delicious! We ordered a full rack of ribs and they were probably the best we've ever tried (sorry Texas). My Old Fashioned drink was perfect - just the right amount of sweetness and balanced alcohol. We are definitely coming back again and again.“
“Local bar with good selection of beverages. Pool table and dart boards and juke box. Occasionally events such as birthdays and holiday parties. Be sure to check out new year's. The best are staff - Morgan, Pam and Mike. Friendly and engaging. Last but not least doggie friendly.“
“This bar has turned from more of just to hang out to. It's my family. These people are so kind and nice and I love everyone except for Chang. Pauli read Sarah Amber all of them are awesome all the regulars I know they give you the shirt off their back no questions asked. So it is more than just a bar. It is the place that is just a complete hidden gem and I worked down the street for years and I was always scared of the place because I thought what kind of Degens go here and then I start going there and I found kind of a second family if you will. Everyone is so kind everyone will do what ever you need your own short on money during short on money everyone buys each other drinks. There's always hugs and yell, cheap kisses and everything else I mean it it is a legit family, so I can't say enough good things about this place people that bow shit are idiots or just don't get the way a dive bar as sidebar for god sake's. But it is one of the best ones I have ever experienced in my life and I have shunned off every single other one because this is where I belong, these are people I need to be around. so come join it come support the business because if people don't support the business, it's gonna go away before we know it and there's certain people that work there that are not the best humans and are going to cost the business to Freemans go out of business I mean that's all there is to it so just come out. Enjoy it hang out the back patio. They just replace the whole awning out there today. Just a great group of people I I mean I cannot say enough good things about it between the owner and the employees and everything else you know, there are all kinds of hugs given out constantly“
“This rooftop bar offers some of the best panoramic views of the peninsula in cozy atmosphere, perfect for a special occasion or an early night out with friends. You'll need to take the elevator at the Graduate Hotel to reach this little lookout, so don't be surprised if your map leads you into a hotel lobbyThe space itself is intimate and stylish, with a room for about five small groups. It can get a bit cold on the rooftop, but thankfully some warm blankets are provided to ease the chill. The staff is quite attuned to making sure your visit is comfortable. The cocktail menu boasts creative and playful options, and the food menu is small but good for sharing. Be aware that the drinks come with a premium price tag. Overall a nice place for a special occasion.“

“Ate here a few weeks ago while family was in town, and was very happy with the experience. Just barely ordered before Happy Hour ended (or was it Super Happy Hour? I don't recall!). While I wasn't really all that hungry, I opted for the fish and chips, because it's my goto for testing this type of place on a first visit. It was HUGE fillet, with crispy breading that was properly fried. I almost couldn't finish it, which is odd for me. Could have used a lot more lemon, as one piece doesn't do much, but that's such a minor issue. The service was great, even though our server was literally on her first shift, and being shadowed by another staff member. All in all it was a great experience.“

“A very atmospheric and noisy Irish pub. Getting inside is like being transported to another country and discovering something new. We were there on Friday evening. You need to find a table yourself, so I advise you not to yawn and immediately go looking for it before someone more active gets ahead of you. On Fridays there are a lot of people and it’s almost impossible to find a free table, but we were lucky. I can also tell you - if you are very hungry, it is better to go to another establishment. For example, we waited for our order for more than 40 minutes and it was not happy. The service is quite long - it looks like the waiters can’t cope with such a flow of people. In general, the food is not bad, and the selection of alcoholic drinks, including beer, is quite good.“
“This place was my to go to bar for the music, and dance but I think that DJ is no longer there on Saturday nights. It's not too bad on Fridays, but I like Saturdays better. This was my second year visiting this bar for the new years. It was pretty cool. The bartenders were quick and efficient.“
“I came to visit Saratoga for my birthday. My favorite part of this mini vacation was going to this bar! It was such a fun night. Loved the vibe and ambiance! The bartender, Jessica, was super nice! Kurt, the owner (owns it with his wife), gave us fun facts about the bar. There was so much history about how this bar actually used to be a Bank (hence the name). Now it's a historical building. The bar had comfy couches and some cool booths to sit in. If you're in Saratoga going to catch a concert at the Mountain Winery or in the area visiting you have to check out this bar. If you want to affordable drinks and to hang out with some down to earth people you need to come here.“

“2023 has been a strange year, somehow me and my good friend both found gainful employment. And said gainful employment is a 12 minute walk from each other. So when you and the guy you drink with happen to be work neighbors, it only makes sense to go bar hopping during your lunch breaks. They have a 8/10 burger here, plenty juicy, plenty cheesy. And the fries arent bad. the ranch is different but also not bad but might not be what you're completely used to. Service was super nice here though, but I wasnt the biggest fan of the beers, felt the one from oakland had too many hints of curry flavor which really threw me off. Feel this place would be bustling after work though. Like really packed with workers from all the nearby offices.“
“They have 3 pinball machines, 2 pool tables, 2 electronic dart boards, a jukebox, an ATM machine, and all sorts of memorabilia on the walls and ceiling available for their patrons to enjoy!! The atmosphere can go anywhere from calm and mellow during midday, to exciting, jovial, entertaining, and filled with dancing and laughter in the late evenings. As far as the patrons, they has a great, blended environment; so no one will feel out of place if you decide to go. So... if you want to go to a place where you'll feel welcomed and have a great time, then Paul & Harvey's on Murphy Ave. is the place for you!!??? *Photo's to come...!“

You get a lot of guacamole. We tried their fish & chips which came with coleslaw. The fish was crispy, crunchy and not oily, the chips were tasty and the coleslaw really good. The Prisoner Cabernet was very good.“
