The store front faces San Antonio Rd. with parking around the periphery of the shops. Not too many people when we got there and it starting filling up while we dined. Probably no need for reservations. It's a booth and table layout with a smallish sushi bar.They didn't have calamari. Wifey had the stir fried seafood udon and I had the lunch special Bento Box with Saba Shioyaki and mixed Tempura. My Miso soup was thick, flavorful and had some Wakame but no diced tofu, just okay. The udon had a good selection of seafood, including mussels and shrimp. My Saba was juicy and tasty, with some edible pin bones. The mixed tempura was hot and included two sweet shrimp with assorted vegetables having a crunchy and slightly greasy breading. The salad had a mayo dressing and just okay, no sesame or soy flavors.The menu is extensive with sushi, bento and udon selections. The service was good, even with just a single server. The lunch special bento box is a good value. Similar to several other places in the area, it's repeatable.“
“We really enjoyed our dinner at Mikado. The dinner was very good, and the outdoor seating made us feel safe. The tempura was excellent - lightly fried and not greasy at all. There wasn't anything wrong at all. I gave it 4 stars because I didn't walk away with the urge of coming back again soon. But I do recommend Mikado.Parking: Lots of free street parking not far away. There is also a large free parking lot on the other side of the building. No problem at all.“

“I really enjoyed Sumo sushi. Very fresh and tasty fish, complimentary appetizer and dessert, and the sushi boats! What could be better? Agedashi tofu was tender and flavorful, hamachi avocado - refreshing, and the rolls and the nigiri just right. I shall be back!“
“Ideally I would have to say I would give Robin a 3.5 stars. Upon arriving to the restaurant, it was storming outside and there were no signs for us to find the place. When we entered, we got greeted by friendly staff members and got seated. I think what makes Robin a bit more unique compared to other omakase places is that you can choose your own price range and the chefs accommodate with what you had picked, but in my opinion I would have preferred them to give a set price to choose from. Inside of the restaurant was beautiful, I loved the interior design, but if you're looking for a quiet/intimate omakase experience this is not the place for that. Music is pretty loud and the parties around us were talking with their outside voice , which I didn't mind because like I mentioned the vibes at Robin is definitely more casual. In terms of the quality of food, I would have to say, while everything was super fresh and good, nothing stood out to me. On top of that, every omakase I've been to so far, I would have been full 80% in but we left Robin still hungry. Our total came out to be $470, and I would have expected to leave full. I wished they had taken out the potato chip nigiri and the noodle dish, because I would have preferred to receive more fish. The nigiri that was part of the courses was super small, and as I mentioned, while everything was good, I was not amazed. Still highly recommend if you've never experienced omakase before, only tip is to book at the bar seating bc you'll get the full experience that way.“

“I ordered takeout through Uber Eats from this place, so can't comment about the service and atmosphere of this place. I got the spicy dragon roll, gyoza and salmon teriyaki entree. The gyoza was standard and it was a slight let down because it wasn't warm, but that's completely on the Uber driver as he had to make a few deliveries on the way. The spicy dragon roll was disappointing, it wasn't spicy at all and the sushi roll's rice didn't appear spot on. The salmon teriyaki was standard and decent. However the miso soup was plain bad, too watery and lacking flavor.“

“Very high quality fish with great portion sizes. I came here with a few friends and we were all very satisfied. I got the dinner combo with 2 orders of sashimi (16 pieces total) and the pieces were very big, fatty, and high quality. My friends got the sake don (also very high quality salmon) and the chicken katsu, which came with a mountain of chicken katsu and was great for the price. I will definitely be coming back as this is one of the best sushi restaurants I've been to in the bay area.“

We sat outside in the patio seating and it was very nice a cool breeze came through there and the decor was nice. We looked through the menu and started to make our order. The food was good the vampiro tacos are on point I loved the shrimp ones very good! The sushi rolls they had were also smack! Enjoyed the salmon roll we had. Beer and seafood you can't go wrong with that! This place is a must try spot right next to Pal market on university before you head to the bridge. The servers name I do not remember but I would like to write this review for her, after I accidentally spilled a cup of water she was quick to help us out to clean the table and moved us to another table and assisted with transferring everything for us. She was very welcoming and with great customer service and attentiveness. The food was 10/10, and being a new resident to Fremont, we found our go-to sushi spot. I can't wait to go back.“

The spicy chicken karage was not your typical crunchy chicken, the texture was more like a chicken's general type of meal. Everything else was pretty good including the 49ers roll. “We came here for our family Easter lunch and glad that we were seated right away. We opted the table with stone grill for yakiniko, since we can also order sushi there if we want to. We opted for the Omakase Stone Grill Meat for 2-4 persons. It came with wagyu beefs, toro, short rib galbis, prawns, squids, pork belly cuts and sausages. The set also came with wagyu beef clay pot rice. We also ordered miso soups and ahi poke salad for starters. I think the portions were generous and the food tasted great. Clay pot rice was mom’s favorite, though it wasn’t served in a clay pot so no crispy rice on the bottom like I was expecting. Our server was very nice and attentive without being disruptive. Definitely would go back again. However, a constructive criticism for the management. Pls keep your floors and bathroom clean at all times. It was just 12 noon and floor was filthy and bathroom smelled like puke. These are what customers usually notice and will judge the cleanliness of the entire restaurant!“

“From observation, this restaurant is a typo Korean sushi restaurant serving the typical sashimi, nigiri and rolls. There's a hidden menu at the restaurant that is called ahead or reserved only. They bring in live yellow farmed halibut and octopus weekly for really fresh sashimi plates. These are whole fishes only so go with at least 3 ppl. They also carry good sake to go with the sushi.“

Given waters until everyone decided what they desired to drink. The menu is full of foodie possibilities. Two Friends got the Chicken Teriyaki Bento's. It includes soup, salad, steamed rice & 4 pcs California Roll. She added deep fried gyoza. Nicole enjoyed Eel Eggs. I forgot what it was called.... Ivan and Steven ordered the lunch special Roll combo. Any 2 Rolls $18.95. Any 3 Rolls $22.95. They're served with soup and salad. I enjoyed 8 pc deep fried California Roll. The portions are huge. “Hidden Japanese gem in Cupertino! Small, quiet, authentic sushi restaurant. I followed the enticing aroma of the wood burning barbecue and discovered Sushi Kuni. I had their two item combo with beef teriyaki and sashimi, which included three generous pieces each of white tuna and Maguro tuna on a bed of finely shredded radish with a nice dollop of wasabi. The tunas were both melt in mouth tender with only the slightest touch of fishiness. Very pleased with how fresh the Sashimi is. The succulent and tender beef teriyaki was served on a bed of mung bean sprouts, which was a delight in itself. And I couldn't help ordering a side of Yakitori chicken, which looks absolutely as moist as it tastes! I am so glad that I found Sushi Kuni. I can not adequately describe how absolutely delicious it is and how pleased I am with this first meal!“
“I go here on a regular basis. I have Celiac and am very sensitive to gluten. Last time I went, I accidentally pushed ramen noodles instead of rice, and they switched it out for me and refunded the extra charge for the noodles. The manager even came out to make sure everything was okay.The outdoor seating is pleasant, ordering on the tablets can take a minute to figure out if you aren't familiar with them (usually, unless you push a wrong button like me), the service is quick, and the food is good.I also have a service animal, and have never had problems bringing him into this space.“
