This bakery supplies restaurants all over the SoCal metro area. My family and I first fell in love with the coconut whiteout cake at the Nordstrom cafe. I think an employee told me that the cake was from La Mousse; it was many years ago. The cafe no longer carries this glorious cake, so I order it for special occasions and pick it up. I have been going to what I think is one of the two best Italian restaurants in Los Angeles - a place called Vito Italian Restaurant on the border of West L.A. and Santa Monica on Ocean Park Boulevard near Bundy since 2001. It's the best. And they've always had this irresistible dessert - a creme brulee cheesecake. We are generally too stuffed to eat it there when we are done with our entrees, but this cake is so good we get a slice nearly every time to take home and eat later...read full review
