“This place has changed drastically since I remember it in the 90"sThere are pool tables and a newer style jukebox, dune evenings with karaoke and outdoor seating. The staff were nice and got drinks pretty quickly.A decent selection of tap beer and cider.“
“Absolutely love staying at this resort, and the Clubhouse Grill is a large part of that. Lively atmosphere, always friendly servers, and excellent food! Fun to eat outside on the patio while watching live music or golfers (depending on the day), or to eat inside watching sports on the large screen TVs. My husband generally gets the rib eye, and I have a few different favorites.“
“Good food and great service. Small little cozy restaurant right next to the bay. Service was friendly from entering in to leaving. Shrimp tacos were tasty. Hamburger was a bit over cooked, but better over cooked than under. Cocktail was tasty but a lot of ice. Fries were perfect and the ranch is tasty. Great views of the bay.“
“I was really craving some fish and chips while I was in Pismo but the lines everywhere were soooo long that I decided to look up places nearby that were (hopefully) less busy.. Mersea's came up first so we hopped in the car and drove to avila to try it out! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the resturant allows dogs indoors, which you don't see often! I really liked the decor in here, it was very steampunk sea themed, and they had some cool little features like port holes that looked to the water below (the resturant is on the peir!) but the place was SO SMALL that we had to stand in the walk way while we waited for our food because there were no more tables inside and it was SO WINDY outside! I really enjoyed the fish and chips, and my toddler enjoyed the chicken strips, but the rest of my family was left underwhelmed with their meals and said they wouldn't stop here again. Ultimately, I'd say this place is a great choice if you want to get away from the crowed restaurants near by, but keep in mind that the seating is limited indoors.“
“The only place in town for happy hour. Great beer and great happy hour prices for drinks and food. We got a BLT with an added fried egg that was eggcellent and hit the spot. They have live music most nights. We didn't stay long enough to experience that but the bartender was friends and recommended great drinks. Will definitely be back when we return to Morro Bay“
“Jena and Bruce are awesome. Loved Bruce's life stories and friendliness. The vibe is nice. The TV is massive and is a great place to catch a game. Very fun to go here when my girlfriend and I came from the city. It was a great way to get a true small town vibe.“
“A GIANT THANK YOU to Jennifer for providing the Best/Perfect venue to celebrate 2 (child like) old Ladies Birthday Party! Nicole did a fantastic job behind the bar and was a class act as always! Add a couple of the Best local musicians in Rachel and Bobby Santa Cruz and, you have the Perfect Party! A great time was had by all!“
“The Pierfront Wine & Brew Bar is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of Avila Beach! From the moment I stepped in, I was enchanted by the cozy ambiance and breathtaking view of the pier. But what truly stole the show was their impeccable wine selection - a connoisseur's dream come true! The variety was astounding, catering to every palate with finesse. The staff's knowledge and passion for wine were evident in every recommendation they made. Their personalized service elevated the entire experience, making me feel like a valued guest rather than just a customer. The attention to detail and genuine care in ensuring I found the perfect wine for my taste was unparalleled. Each glass was a delightful journey through flavors and aromas, complemented by the stunning sunset view. The staff's expertise in pairing wine with the delectable cheese and charcuterie boards added another layer of sophistication to the evening. Pierfront Wine Bar isn't just a place for wine enthusiasts; it's a haven for anyone seeking an exquisite experience. I can't recommend this place enough - it's a must-visit for anyone in search of top-notch wines and exceptional service in Avila Beach!“
“The sandwiches here are actually so good! I love that the tables have tvs next to them, so I don't have to crank my neck around to have entertainment. The people here are nice too! Would recommend if you are looking for a good sandwich!“
“Cutest wine bar with some of the best wines from California. On Fridays they have painting classes at 6pm. I wish I could have gone to the one last night which was a Frida painting. The service here is spectacular and I really enjoyed my time here. It looks like a great place to meet up with friends and it is adjacent to one of the only fine dining restaurants in Cayucos.“
“Fun little place right off of the Bob Jones trail. They have a nice selection of beers, ciders, and wines. Most of the products here are also local. They have a nice little garden area and plenty of games to play. If you can I'd definitely recommend this place as a stop to rest and play on your way back from finishing the Bob Jones trail.“
“Fantastic bar with amazing food! The Chicken Katsu or Teriyaki Chicken Bento Bixes are our favorite, but if they have Chicken Pot Pie you have to give that a try!Drinks are well made and price's extremely reasonable, especially for the food. Taco Tuesdays are a crowd favorite.Family owned and run.The Buoy is always our first stop in to own.Stop by, have a drink and say“
“Valley Liquor Rocks. The facility has a decently stocked mini mart with basic food items, t-shirts, lottery tickets, and souvenirs. There is a restaurant area with loads of meal options like, fish n chips, burgers, breakfast burritos, salads. Meals can include burger, fries and a fountain drink for around $12. The 3rd area is a Chevon gas station. One stop shopping. And the employees are kind!!! Go at lunchtime and you'll find all of the construction workers in town.“
