They now have 2 patios—the new one in front is a positive addition, and the original one is still lovely with all the garden plants. “My daughter loves this barn. She was able to feed all the farm animals. We recently discovered they sell yummy pies and absolutely had to take home some to work. It was my first time trying grilled sweet corn it is so delicious. We just had ours plain, so we were really able to taste the corn without any added condiment. We will definitely keep trying to come back.“

“Nice place but... We visited this beautiful restaurant on July 30th For drinks and appetizers. We sat outside on the patio and it was lovely, the food was delicious and the wine very enjoyable. We recognized that we were seated at the table for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours so we continued to order appetizers and dessert while we were enjoying our wine and we also planned on leaving a generous tip. Toward the end of our stay as we were ordering our final glass of wine and dessert and were told by the waitress that she could not serve us anymore alcohol and and it has something to do with the ABC but she could not explain exactly what the issue was. Being in my 60's and never being denied service in my entire life, I was quite taken aback. We were served the dessert but no more alcohol. We paid our bill and walked down the street to another establishment where we continued to have our final glass of wine and watch the sunset and then walk back to the hotel. I'm still baffled by what occurred.“

“I would give this place more than five stars if I could. The Dutch Punch sandwich is so delicious. The service is always perfect and it's such a great little outdoor spot to sit. But bring a jacket always we drive from San Luis Obispo to Baywood to go to this high Street since we can always walk right in an order. I wish the SLO restaurant would relocate to a bigger spot.“

Perfectly gooey on the inside with a crispy outside.I also had a breakfast sandwich and a latte, which were pretty good, but slightly overpriced. My total bill for a cookie, sandwich and latte was $28! The sandwich and latte were good, but not as amazing as the cookie.The staff were very friendly and the space is easily accessible.“

We'd heard a lot of buzz about Morro Grill, so on our most recent trip (April 2024) we put them on the list. They will now always be one of our go-to's in future trips! The pet-friendly restaurant is on the 2nd floor, but there is an elevator in addition to stairs. We were greeted warmly by two of the staff members who, throughout our meal, took fantastic care of us. Food: I had the 1/2 rack of the St. Louis Ribs and they were some of the most tender and flavorful I've ever had! The plate comes with garlic toast, cole slaw and another side -- I chose the house chips, and they were crispy and delicious. My husband is still raving about his Baja grilled shrimp tacos! They come three to an order, and he finished every bite. Our friend chose the Greek Power Bowl and also finished every bite. Honestly, by that time it was nap time and with that gorgeous view on a perfect sunny day, we didn't want to leave. We can't wait to return!“

“This is a really nice location right by the bay. The employees were all very sweet and helpful. The location had cool posters and stickers giving it a vibe. The bathroom was clean with funny pictures and the coffee was good. I had a sausage croissant and didn't care for it, but my family liked it. I ordered a fancier drink and it was too sweet for me. My family loved their drinks. I should have stuck to black coffee.“

“I was really craving some fish and chips while I was in Pismo but the lines everywhere were soooo long that I decided to look up places nearby that were (hopefully) less busy.. Mersea's came up first so we hopped in the car and drove to avila to try it out! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the resturant allows dogs indoors, which you don't see often! I really liked the decor in here, it was very steampunk sea themed, and they had some cool little features like port holes that looked to the water below (the resturant is on the peir!) but the place was SO SMALL that we had to stand in the walk way while we waited for our food because there were no more tables inside and it was SO WINDY outside! I really enjoyed the fish and chips, and my toddler enjoyed the chicken strips, but the rest of my family was left underwhelmed with their meals and said they wouldn't stop here again. ‍ Ultimately, I'd say this place is a great choice if you want to get away from the crowed restaurants near by, but keep in mind that the seating is limited indoors.“

Loved all their wines they had to offer - the Syrah and the NV Eclipse were our favorites, and we took home a bottle of each. Evan was super friendly and knowledgeable during our tasting. They also offer a small food menu, and the Shuck Shack Oysters are the best delicious addition to your wine tastings. Overall, a very enjoyable time wine tasting. They are just the right amount of sweetness, soft but not too soft, cooked to a perfect consistency so its not too cakey but still chewy but not raw dough-esque. Great flavors like ones w molasses and almond extract. Also have choc chip good ol fashioned. Ive never had such good vegan cookies.Its also cute and quaint, like youre walking into someones front door of their house.Soooo much better than Crumbl imo. They dont have that gross uncooked raw dough style that Crumbl cookies have nor the ten bzillion calories Crumbl cookies have. Crumbl cookies make me sick. Even just 1 quarter of them. I ate 3 of Caliwala’s and I feel great.Ill be back!“

“What a pleasant coffee shop, exactly what I was looking for in this little town. Came here each morning on our trip. Such a cool, kitschy spot that is warm and inviting, not just by size and decor, but especially by everyone who works there. The stand out for me was the sincerely adorable gentlewoman at the counter. She even remembered my name! Got their chaimayan with a shot of espresso, delicious! Throughout our visits, we had their lox bagel, avocado toast, and BLT. Their food was GREAT and I couldn't ask for more from what presumably was just a coffee shop, but actually a great breakfast spot for us as well!“

“My family and I dined at House of Juju in November 2023. We were only in Morro Bay for a few days (Monday and Tuesday) and ate at another establishment the day before; having a horrible experience. When I looked online at the hours for House of Juju for Tuesday it showed they were closed. I was SO disappointed as I was really looking forward to having a delicious meal here. My family and I went down to the water and noticed House of Juju appeared to be open. I called the restaurant to confirm and spoke with Maddy. She was so friendly and confirmed they were open on Tuesday as a trial. I was thrilled! My family and I went in for dinner and had Maddy as our server. She was just as pleasant as she had been on the phone and provided excellent service. We were able to enjoy a delicious meal and watch the sunset from the back of the restaurant. The Juju Bleu burger is AMAZING, along with the clam chowder, and the flatbread! This will continue to be an establishment we will frequent while in town.“

“I have loved Nardonne's pizza since I was a kid. This is my families go-to spot whenever we are in town. It's in a cute beach vibe neighborhood. You can take a nice walk to the water before or after. I highly recommend original crust with linguisa sausage. But you can't go wrong with any other options or build your own. They have sports on and some video games. Be mindful of the hours they're open.“

We had walked by the SUN N BUNS BAKERY earlier and thought it looked like a quaint little place. We had just finished dinner down the street and went to our usual spot for an ice cream dessert but they were already closed (Wednesday at about 7:00pm.) We decided to walk to the SUN N BUNS BAKERY to see if they were still open and they were. We were surprised at how quaint it was inside with tables to eat at. We had the Maui Wowie and the serving was a good size. We're not a fan of ice cream that is soft, but this was good and firm. While eating inside the location, my wife saw something interesting in the showcase. It was a dark chocolate covered Twinkie with sprinkles. When on vacation, we will try things we normally wouldn't consider at home. We are so happy we did. It was excellent! We're both in our sixties and it has been decades since we had a Twinkie, but this will make us get it again the next time we visit the area. The two ladies working there were very friendly as well. There is plenty of street parking and a free parking lot just down the street. There are also public restrooms just a short distance away. We will surely return in the future.“

“What a great find. We wanted Italian and searched the net. We had fantastic service and some outstanding traditional dishes. Carbonara, fettuccine and they had braciole on the menu. The owner came and worked the crowd. A genuine delight. And a special dessert of Spumoni ice cream with a crust prepared by the house of crushed Biscotti and chocolate with Pistachios. “We’ve been going to Hofbrau for over 20 years. Just had one of the best meals ever there today. Sat outside on the new glass enclosed deck over the water. Amazing view. Beautiful day. Had the best, tender and flavorful roast beef sandwich- a jailhouse (roast beef, pastrami & provolone - a Reuben and calamari strips. It was all perfect!“
