“Health nut has great healthy sandwich, wrap, and soup options. I tried the tofu grilled panini with tomato bisque soup. The panini was good, however it just had plain tofu added to it so it was a little bland. It would have been nice if the tofu had some sort of seasoning or flavor. The tomato soup was good, just a bit too creamy for my taste. The location is great (near the Manhattan Beach Pier) and there are decent parking options as well.“
“First time here tonight (on a Friday) and what a cute place! Love the little wooden bridge as you enter the restaurant, cherry blossom faux tree and Japanese decor. There's even a couple of cute private dining rooms & a small outdoor eating area. Service was attentive and friendly. Shout out to Jose. Food was great! Miso Soup - Seaweed Salad - hubby said it was meh as he didn't eat much of it Black Cod - flavorful, tender & perfectly flaky Mixed Green Salad - great Truffle Salmon Carpaccio - hubby said it was good & fresh Yellowtail Jalapeño - hubby said it was good & fresh Albacore Sashimi - hubby said it was good & fresh King Salmon Sashimi - hubby said it was good & fresh Would definitely come back if in the Santa Monica area again. Oh and love the cute "wallet" the check is placed in & given to you. @travel_lifestyle_chow“

“Feels like a modern trendy hip pho spot that totally passes the vibe check. We were greeted as we came in even during the busy dinner time.Sat at one of the booths with space to have a stroller next to us without being in the way for others. The staff are super friendly with awesome ink tats and just super chill.I ordered the #4 pho with streak and brisket which was yummy, next time I will for sure get a large. We got 2 orders of the #30 the minced pork and veggies egg rolls which were delicious and gone as quickly as they came.Huge dinning area with a modern rustic open kitchen décor.Needed to stay up so I got me a Vietnamese coffee which was on point. Can’t wait to come back to try other things off the menu.Parking: Big parking lotKid-friendliness: Able to fit a stroller next to our table“

“Enjoyed a relaxing outdoor brunch at this popular Mexican restaurant in the Torrance Hollywood Riviera. We picked a nice corner spot with partial shield under the umbrella. It’s a dog friendly restaurant but we wanted to be away from others with our young puppy. The food came fairly quickly, we highly recommend the Octopus Ceviche if you like octopus. I had the Wednesday Burrito special, and my wife had two tacos specials with Asadas. Both were delicious. Our server, Anthony, was prompt and friendly, multiple other servers stopped by multiple times made you feel welcome and made sure we have what we needed.Parking: Parking: a bit of hit and miss in this popular district, once you find a street parking spot, I recommend using the QR code and pay electronically, it’s relatively painless. Another person tried to mess with the meter and sometimes the screen is hard to read, especially under the sun.“

“I got food from this place and was really happy with my order. The sandwich was awesome! It had roasted veggies, mushrooms, avocado, and came with plantains on the side. It was still fresh as takeout, and I bet it’s even better if you eat there. (lived up to its name “the best sandwich”)The buddha bowl was also great! The roasted squash and mushroom were the highlights. Great portion. The food was big, fresh, and packed well!I highly recommend this place!!!!“

“If you’re ever in the Southbay in LA do yourself a favor and source this seafood gem. It’s ALWAYS busy and I don’t like waiting in line but I will here. The benefit of seafood being fresh is because they sell enough that it’s always excellent. There providers must love the account and take good care of them.Okay, ceviche is a must do with tostada chips, avocado and a slew of hot sauces and a self serve salsa station that also offers marinated white onion ribbons and wonderful whole roasted yellow chiles dusted with a red tangy red spice.Tacos come with a variety of seafood options, I suggest the battered fish as a beginning test since you will come back for them anytime you go again, just trust this.Prices are reasonable and the staff are very happy, why not, everyone eating there are friggin happy too. Parking can be a buzzkill but you’ll figure it out.“

“I do not have to drive to LA anymore when I can satisfy my cravings for Galbi-jim here! I absolutely love this place from food and service. The food is so delicious, we had a party of four, and we ordered the soy sauce galbi-jim and it was enough for all of us. Our host was splendid too, he was like the chill uncle in the family LOL. Absolutely coming back here soon with more people.“

“Casual family-run Vietnamese spot that serves classic eats. Came here for dinner at 8pm on a weeknight with a friend and there was no wait. Parking is available in the back. Indoor dining only. Credit cards accepted. There was a Yelp check in deal where you could get 5% off your bill. We ordered some spring rolls as apps to share and they were very crispy. I had the pho tai and it was very filling. I liked the broth and the leftovers kept fairly well the following day.“

“This place is so good !! Everyone is always polite. Also for 2 appetizers, 2 ramens and 2 drinks everything came out to 54-55 dollars !! That's literally cheap compared to other ramen spots that be coming out to 70 etc dollars! On top of that it's good decent ramen. My boyfriend and I were craving ramen but didn't want to spend so much money and this place is definitely budget friendly“

“We sat at the communal table and enjoyed looking at the aesthetically pleasing feasts our neighbors ordered! We shared a bento box with fresh sashimi, crispy tempura, and warm side meats served with colorful condiments. Once we placed our name on the waitlist, we enjoyed a stroll until our number was called. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere is friendly, both from guests and servers. Next time, we will order the soups and noodle combinations.“

“I think the key to dining at Forma is to understand that everything you order should be shared with everyone at your table. You can't come here and get a pizza or a bowl of pasta or a cheese tray and eat it alone; that's just weird. You have to come with a group of friends, split a few entres, share a bottle of wine and chat and enjoy your dinner. There are like steaks and burgers and chicken sandwiches and stuff on the menu as well, and yeah you kinda can't those. These items are fine if you're stopping in for lunch by yourself or something, but I advise to skip these if you're on a date or with a group of people and just get a bunch of shareables. Pro tip: pasta dishes are smaller portions here now than they were about a year ago, but they're also cheaper than they were, so you get to order more and try more! Wait staff is amazing btw; they treat each table very well and I've never had a problem here.“

“I recently visited Palsaik with my girlfriend and her friends, and let me tell you—it was a trip down memory lane! Having lived in Korea about ten years ago, I was thrilled to find this gem right here. Palsaik specializes in eight different flavors of pork belly, and each bite was like a reunion with old friends. The ambiance was cozy, and the aroma of sizzling meat filled the air. Our server was an absolute star—helpful, attentive, and skilled at cooking the meat to perfection. They made sure our dining experience was extraordinary. From the savory garlic flavor to the sweet honey soy, every slice of pork belly transported me back to those bustling Korean barbecue joints. The nostalgia was real, and I couldn’t help but smile between bites.Whether you’re a seasoned Korean food enthusiast or a curious newcomer, Palsaik is a must-visit. The flavors, the service, and the memories—it’s all there. I’m already planning my next visit because, honestly, where else can you find such a delightful pork belly feast?“

“Glad Hurry Curry has reopened after closing their Sawtelle location. if you are new and don't know what to order, try the chicken cutlet curry and the Chicken pasta with Alfredo sauce. The curry is bold and savory. make sure to request picked vegetables for the curry. the chicken pasta is also rich and savory. both dishes complement each other without repeating the same experience. the portions are large so bring friends or bring home plenty of portions for leftovers.“

“Was summoned to jury duty and was looking for good places to eat and that were quick. This place was close and as soon as I walked in they were very nice and there were a few people in here but I don't mind the wait cause the reviews were great and had great options. The sandwich although looked very simple it was very flavorful for sure. I got the Turkey Sandwich with some Miss Vickey's jalapeño chips. The quality could have been a bit better of the bread like a quality(Sourdough) instead of the regular white Artesian bread but was yummy.“

“I came here on a Saturday afternoon around 2-3 pm. My server was Deborah, and she was very attentive and awesome. I hope to meet her as a server again. Additionally, this young gentleman with glasses (forgot to ask his name) that stood at the front desk came to check up on me while dining. He even apologized for mispronouncing my name wrong, which was totally fine! I will be back since I live nearby and is a HUGE fan of Olive Garden. Thank you for the great service :)“

“Was in the mood for some Thai curry and came across this Hidden Gem - Hidden Garden Thai Cuisine. It's tucked inside a small shopping mart (easy to miss). Parking is a little tight, however they do have a few spot designated for their restaurant. The host and server was friendly and attentive. The food was out quickly and warm. Price: it's reasonable for the quality and quantity of tasty food you get. Definable coming back.“

“My Goddaughter, her Grandmother and my self had lunch at this FABULOUS restaurant this pass Wednesday. This is the only Olive Garden I go to eat great Italian food. The atmosphere is nice, food is always hot and the waiters are always pleasant. But what I love the most, is how the managers are so attentive and are willing to go beyond to make sure you have a wonderful experience. Looking forward to return again soon. Oh and the chocolate lasagna is sinful!!!! “

“I've been looking for a sushi place near where I live. I finally found this place, Sushi Kura. They serve a sizable portion of rolls and sushi. The Kura Roll Combo is the best deal by far. I ordered, Spicy Tuna Roll, The Baked Salmon Roll and The Tempura Crunch Roll, this has to be my favorite combo; DELICIOUS! Go check it out. It's located deep in this little shopping area and you might miss it if you aren't looking. There's parking in the small lot. I definitely recommend this spot.“

“First time here. Got their Fried Chicken Curry and the Shischo Ramen to go. Both were outstanding! Perfectly done noodles backed up by broths that bring the flavor for days! For the first visit we went with the lowest heat levels. For my wife, the level one Curry was hot enough. For me, I'm looking forward to ramping up the heat next time! Not a large establishment but worth the wait...Parking: Have you battle the parking for the other restaurants on this end of the parking lot, plus the madness from the In-and-Out lines.“

Made in the heart of LA (the real LA) and with goat not beef.Find your table, pick a drink & enjoy!Best soup for any occasion!Only downside is that it is cash only.“

“Went there for my first time last night around opening time, very friendly customer service experience. I enjoyed my 'Fire Bowl Ramen' (Intermediate / 2nd Spice level) so much that I drank most of the broth. The general atmosphere felt like I was in Japan again, it may not be everyone's liking, but I personally enjoy dimly lit ambiance for a dinner setting.“

“I ordered through Uber Eats. This taco place is sooo good. I ordered the carne asada taco with lemon, salsa and cilantro on the side. My lemons and cilantro were neatly placed in a bag. I loved how everything was separated so neatly. But let's get to the taste. The carne asada tacos were so juicy, plenty of flavor and not greasy. Its so hard to find good flavorable tacos these days. Growing up in LA the food and the tacos were so good back in the day. SP tacos definitely have that back in the day flavor. I will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends and anyone visiting LA. You won't be disappointed. ❤“

“Omg! Authentic sul lung tang (traditional korean bone broth soup) is deliciously amazing at Jun Ju. Soup is served pipping hot, broth is rich flavored & served with salt, green onions & black pepper on the side. Speaking of side, their side dishes are exquisite & authentic. You'll enjoy the unlimited fresh ban-chan (side dishes). We also ordered korean seafood pancake- served crunchy with loaded seafood. Absolutely heavenly. Service staffs are friendly & well attentive. Place is clean & seating is limited. You'll see tons of elderly Koreans as delightful customers who are enjoying their meal. Parking is plenty in the front lot. Hope you get to dine at Jun Ju and experience authentic korean cuisine. Bon appetite!“

“One of the best galbi tang I've had and not just in the South Bay, but all of LA. I've been to plenty of places in Ktown and I still prefer Hansol. The portion is huge, bachan is delicious, and the meat is juicy. They give you two giant ribs per portion. I can't speak to anything else on the menu since this is all I ordered, but my friend also enjoys their chicken katsu. 100% worth coming. To go is equally good. Great for a cold day!“

“Lee's tofu is a small Korean restaurant in Gardena. It is located in a plaza with other restaurants so parking can be a little difficult depending on the day or at night time, however parking is free and for an unlimited amount of time. This restaurant is small but the servers are very friendly. They also have a lot of banchan or sides and are more than happy to give extra. I love getting bibimbap on the hot stone, it is my absolute favorite. I will definitely keep coming back.“

“Ordered 3 combo specials, the (#55) bimbimbap with vegetable in a hot pot and LA Galbi, (#56) bimbimbap with vegetable in a hot pot and beef bulgogi, and (#64) grilled fish and kimchi stew. The bimbimbap was an ideal portion if you have an average appetite, delicious and served hot in clay pots. If you have a larger appetite, I would recommend adding other dishes. I would recommend filling up on all the banchan (side dishes) as there are a diverse amount of dishes served. The galbi was well seasoned and marinated with the right amount of chewiness. The bulgogi was a bit dry so add some of the optional spicy sauce to give it an extra kick. The location is moderately busy during lunch on weekends, parking is plenty in the plaza area. Service is really nice and quick.Parking: Not a large plaza but plenty of parking available for your visit“

“Probably the best sulungtang place in South Bay. We loved JinKook Sulungtang but it closed down couple of years ago. This is the best place we found since~ The only negative is that their radish kimchi is inconsistent in taste.. one day it's sour, one day it's sweet.. Other than that, great service and love the soups~“
“This is probably a hot take... but I think these might be the best fish tacos and the Baja burrito is arguably one of the best burritos in LA.I lived in north redondo beach for a year when I first moved to LA and I still remember their location on inglewood and artesia before the name change and expansion. I thought the change and expansion would mean lower quality (as is the case when a lot of restaurants start expanding to different locations) ...but not at all! Ceviche is always fresh, burrito are the size of a newborn baby, and even my girlfriend (who manages to find something to complain about at every restaurant) loved the grilled fish tacos here.“

“Venturing into the Korean noodle restaurant was an absolute delight for noodle enthusiasts like myself! From the moment you step inside, the tantalizing aroma of simmering broths and savory spices fills the air, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu boasts an impressive selection of noodle dishes, from the classic kimchi to the fiery and flavorful kagooksoo. Each dish is a work of art, expertly crafted with attention to detail and bursting with authentic Korean flavors. The noodles are cooked to perfection - springy yet tender - and the broths are rich and deeply satisfying. The restaurant's ambiance is both vibrant and cozy, making it the perfect spot to indulge in a comforting bowl of noodles. “I got the Pad See Ew lunch, medium spicy, which was very good. It came with fried rice (add some soy sauce if it's too mild) and a salad. I was craving something spicy and it hit the spot. You can also get it mild or not spicy. The price has gone up to $11.99 for lunch, but it was a pretty big portion, I couldn't finish it.“
“It's a turo-turo (all the food is displayed and warmed behind a glass counter) with dining tables. They offer tasty traditional Filipino food and the staff is just wonderful and friendly. My favorite is the Bicol Express. I wish their kare-kare had more meat and tripe instead of just oxtails. They also have teriyaki chicken (yummy) and spicy ribs (also yummy). I just wish they had someone to bus tables.“

“Pretty solid but feels like they cheap out and charge you for a lot of little things like chili oil that tradionally are included. Also some of the orders/portions are weird - unusually granular which is nice but also so unusual it's a bit of getting used to. You basically can get an order and a half of har gow or shu mai??“

“I really enjoyed my steak pho. I've tried 3 pho restaurants so far and this by far was my favorite. The broth was perfect, everything was fresh, and my noodles were separated and not in a clump. I had a spring roll which was very good but probably too much food. The pho was more than enough. The broth warmed me up and I knew I was eating something delicious and good for me. The service was fine. I was greeted when I came in and all of my questions were answered and my needs were met. My waitress was nice. It's a cute little restaurant in a strip mall. Plenty of seats and tables, and very clean. I will definitely go back even though it's a little out of my way. The pho is definitely worth the drive.“

“A wonderful little spot. A bit hard to find as it is without a sign, but it does give it a local's only allure. The interior is modern, littered with games for those inclined, and in the evening, lit quite romantically by candles. The west side is underserved by good Vietnamese food (though it's gotten better in the past few years) and of the few that dot our beach city, Camp is among the best of them. The portions are generous, the broth doesn't skimp on flavor as many Pho shops do, anise, ginger, sweet and savory are well balanced and their flavor comes out well in the broth. There is a richness that exudes through the broth that can often be lacking in places that throw their broth together quickly or fortify with premade broth flavoring. The egg rolls are prodigiously stuffed, brimming with shrimp and crab and fried in rice paper wrappers giving us an authentic central Vietnamese experience. Then there are chef Jon's fusion spins on the classics, like the ability to add bok choy or an egg to the bowl of pho. The butcher's bowl has brisket, filet, and meatballs, evoking a Thai Boat Noodle which is also a step in the right direction. Perhaps the prices are a bit higher than a lot of Pho places, but you are definitely getting your bang for your buck. There is a lot of detail and craftsmanship going on here, both in the food and the interior. I'm excited to see where Camp goes from here.“

“They charge for to-go boxes here. When we saw our bill, we were wondering why they charged us an extra $1.00 for two small disposable paper boxes (not reusable plastic ones). I guess it's something to keep in mind and not be surprised by when the bill comes. Food came out really fast. We ordered the Pad see ew and Pad Thai. They gave us pretty decent portions as well.
