“I hope this place survives, but it’s not as good as it used to be. Now they give you a lot of rice and very little chicken. I hope they change that. Saving money today is going to be more expensive on the long run. People are going to stop going back.I’m glad the girl that has been there for many years is still there. I miss the other girl that left. It’s difficult to find staff that connects with the customers. And it is one of the main reasons people go back to a place.The food, the service, and the atmosphere depend on who is working when I go there, so I am not going to rate that.“

“Cannot say enough amazing things about Fatty Mart. The place itself is adorable, the food is delicious (you can get amazing made to order snacks like this Taiwanese breakfast roll made with scallion pancake) AND already prepared deliciousness from Little Fattys (Taiwanese Sunday Gravy is my favorite).The real shining star here though is the staff. Manager Eric is incredibly friendly and truly part of the reason I’ve kept coming back! “This is probably the most popular place to get your lunch at from students and faculty at El Camino College. Every meeting I'm at around lunch time I see someone eating from Mr. H. I really love their spamasubi and their miso soup. It reminds me of my high school days when people would sell spamasubi from their backpacks. The place has a few tables and chairs to sit on if you are looking to dine in or wait for your food. Cool thing about their service too is they have a buzzer for when your food is ready. Sometimes it takes a little long to get the food to come out but it's always hot and ready to eat when they do.“

“Arrived less than an hour before closing but they weren’t busy so they invited our party of 5 inside after seeing our hesitancy outside the front door. I wish I got their names but they were incredibly hospitable, helping us figure out how to best enjoy the dishes we ordered (we’re still learning about Korean cuisine) and were really accommodating. And everything was amazing!! We got the ox bone soup with beef brisket, mul naeng-myon (cold noodles with beef and pickled radish), haemul nok-du jeon (korean pancake with squid and shrimp and clam), and the spicy galbi-jjim (braised beef short ribs) which was our favorite.Highly highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!“

“Love letter pizza and chicken is so good! Local mom and pop shop with amazing chicken and pizza. The salad could use some work but the main dishes hit home for sure. I recommend getting the crust fill in and the fried chicken! Best local Korean fried chicken near Gardena!“

“We there for the first time on a Friday night and there was a good amt of people waiting. The place was packed! That is a good sign! The staff was hustling to get the tables cleaned and set up for the next guest. I appreciate that. You know you can tell if the food is going to be great by judging the banchan. The kimchi was very nice!! We ordered the seafood pancake. This was like a deep dish pancake! The was really good! A lot of different seafood in it and the edges were nice and crispy! We got the pork belly with arugula(tomsamgyub salad) it was very good as well. The sweetness of the pork belly with the bitterness of the arugula just worked. We also got the bossam and LA galbi. Everything was really good and I kept thinking while I was eating, I can't wait to go back! And the portions are really big! The ambulance was really cute. I really felt like I was in Korea! It's very bright and very cute cut out of Korean words. We got a booth and it felt very separate from the other tables. That was really nice! Looking forward to going there again!“

“Galbi, Corn Cheese, and Soju just make the perfect night out ! Kko Kko Yang is literally the hidden gem for amazing Korean BBQ in Gardena! I can't believe I only found out about this place recently and I've lived in Southbay LA all my life! We got their brisket and galbi which was so tender and delicious. They have so many good sides such as their steamed egg, soybean soup, kimchi pancake, and banchan, and we even ordered some refreshing cold noodles on the side. My favorite part was pouring the corn cheese in the galbi and letting it sizzle on the grill! This place is known for their gopchang, aka intestines, but they have so many unique cuts of meat here to grill! We tried their gopchang, daechang, abomasum and beef heart as well, and the staff really knows how to cook these cuts! Nothing was overly chewy and it's hard to find places that can do this right. Definitely recommend checking them out the next time you want a delicious and different KBBQ experience!“

“Found this place by accident! We went to another place for Korean bbq but the menu didn't look great so we did a quick google search and found this hidden gem! The service was great and everything came out do quickly! I got the soup & my partner got the galbi that came with a small soybean soup. Everything was super flavorful and I think we both agreed that we must visit this place again of we're craving a comforting meal.“

“My teen daughter and I love On + On, and everyone at this location is so nice. It is next to home Depot so plenty of parking. The food is very fresh and there are so many choices you will never get bored. The sauce selections are very tasty I love all of the proteins. It is very easy to eat as healthy as you would like at this restaurant. There are so many vegetables to choose from cold and hot. I highly recommend! I always get two sauces nori and hot and get them on the side so I can add as much as I prefer. You get a very large amount of food for the price as well. Highly recommend!“

“First time found it through yelp I'm trying to go to more small businesses and find places that can accommodate me. I got the orange chicken because it didn't have soy and the person I was with got the Mongolian beef with noodles. I ordered on the phone the person was very sweet and knowledgeable and very considerate about my allergies. Everything arrived very sealed tight in plastic accept for my orange chicken and it had a cool opener the radish it looked like it was seasoned with ginger. It came with a side of rice. I felt I didn't really need the rice because the orange chicken was so flavorful. I like the idea of Korean Chinese fusion! Definitely will be coming back here.“

“Love this restaurant. The wait time was supposed to be 20+ minutes but I feel like I got it in less time. It's nice to see everyone working at a tolerable speed where I don't think they're stressed out and orders aren't taking more than 20 mins. My experience with Kimbap at other restaurants is they take more than 30 mins because they're also dealing with online orders, phone orders and in house orders. But I believe everyone at this restaurant was doing that but still making good time management without sacrificing the quality and presentation of the food. I had an order of beef kimbap and an order of spam Kimbap. I'm looking forward to trying out more of the menu here when I'm in the area.“

I think the places I had gopchang before had poor quality meat/intestines as it never tasted "fresh" or of good quality. Soup is served pipping hot, broth is rich flavored & served with salt, green onions & black pepper on the side. Speaking of side, their side dishes are exquisite & authentic. You'll enjoy the unlimited fresh ban-chan (side dishes). We also ordered korean seafood pancake- served crunchy with loaded seafood. Absolutely heavenly. Service staffs are friendly & well attentive. “Lee's tofu is a small Korean restaurant in Gardena. It is located in a plaza with other restaurants so parking can be a little difficult depending on the day or at night time, however parking is free and for an unlimited amount of time. This restaurant is small but the servers are very friendly. They also have a lot of banchan or sides and are more than happy to give extra. I love getting bibimbap on the hot stone, it is my absolute favorite. I will definitely keep coming back.“

I got the half order of bone-in pepper fried chicken for $20 thru delivery. It came with around 8 pieces. The chicken was hot, tender, juicy, and crunchy. I liked that it wasn't too salty, oily, or sweet. I liked the vented cardboard box it came in and how it was sturdier than KFC boxes. The pickled radish that came with it was sweet and crunchy. I definitely want to try their other flavors now. You can choose boneless options as well. The bad: The pepper wings seemed to have curry powder on it. It was a nice flavor but not what I expected. I would prefer it without it. It's a bit pricier than I expected. The interesting: I had a hankering for fried Korean chicken after watching the Try Guys' YouTube video on eating bb.q Chicken. They said pepper was their favorite so I ordered just that. The pepper wings look super peppery but don't taste as spicy as they look.“

“One of the best galbi tang I've had and not just in the South Bay, but all of LA. I've been to plenty of places in Ktown and I still prefer Hansol. The portion is huge, bachan is delicious, and the meat is juicy. They give you two giant ribs per portion. I can't speak to anything else on the menu since this is all I ordered, but my friend also enjoys their chicken katsu. 100% worth coming. To go is equally good. Great for a cold day!“
