“Absolutely fabulous!! Stopped in for breakfast, this place needs a James Beard award for its corned beef hash. Will be back again and will recommend this to anyone we see in the parks. Oh pancakes were super fluffy with a hint of almond, have those too.“
“On a road trip from Yosemite... Passing through town and wanted breakfast after a couple days hiking... The happy goat opened in September 23, and everything inside looks new with an old touch of the 1800s.. The weight staff was super friendly, and Melissa and Mercedes helped us get settled. All the many options of crafted food looked awesome, I got the avocado toast special, which was small portion, but delicious... with a side of chicken unduly soup, which was also delicious... Come support this place. The history behind it from their farm 10 miles away. Holds true good luck with everything. Thank you“
“Visiting Mariposa/Yosemite with some girl friends and went to 1850 Restaurant & Brewery for our first night out! We were seated fairly promptly for a 5 top table with no reservation and the service was great! We got all of our food quick and in the perfect time sequence - drinks first, appetizer second (with time to finish and digest), and entrees shortly after we finished our appetizer. The decor was adorable, between the wine corks and sliding doors between 2 tables. The Ahi nachos were unreal! I highly recommend those - the ahi tuna felt and tasted fresh, and the ginger soy + wasabi ranch drizzle added so much sweet, spicy, and creamy flavor. The wonton nachos were also deliciously fried. The chicken salad was the perfect, light meal. The baked salmon was another good option, although i didn't love the sweetness of the fig dollop on top - the fig taste took over. The drinks we ordered were creative, fun, and tasted delicious. A little sweet, but can't complain too much about that. Great first night out in Mariposa!“
