“We have been driving past this place when we go fishing at Collins Lake. Well we went on Friday and in the morning we said this time we are going to stop for lunch and tacos are great but we ordered a nacho fries and wow they were the best we have ever had. So every time we go to Collins Lake, we will be there in the bright red truck.“
“LOVE their tacos! I’ve tried their chicken, asada, and al pastor meats— all so good and well seasoned. The tacos are well served and filling. It kind of hurts they don’t have a restaurant because I know it would be just as good as their taco truck! They’re all so kind and give great customer service. Highly recommend! :)“
“With all things considered, this is a no-fuss one stop shop for your taco needs. Although you won't get your usual variety refreshers such as Horchata or Agua Frescas, the jarritos and soda options are sufficient. Like I said, this taco truck is here for your TACO needs. For two, it's usually under $20 (x4 birria & x2 tacos) unless you get drinks, consommé, ... and extra tacos than you normally do because your wife forgot to feed you at an appropriate lunch time then it's like $30 with tax. XD The ladies that serve and take our orders are always super nice and very quick with the food preparation. There's plenty of parking, and don't let the surrounding areas thwart you from a nice easy quick bite. I always get my tacos around lunch time though so I feel pretty safe. Usually I take my meal to go and eat in the comfort of my home, but one day they had the table out, (maybe just on weekends) and my husband and I enjoyed our meal with the nice weather. Birria - 10/10 at least, this is what my husband rated it as and he is a Birria taco fiend. He really enjoyed the consommé, it was hearty and included additional chunks of birria meat to consume with. The meat is tender and full of flavor. As for me, I enjoyed that it was not super greasy as some birrias can be. My sensitive stomach with lactose intolerance would heel over. Tacos - 9/10 for me. I like cabeza, my usual go to is lengua. I don't like tough, chewy meat cuts. I had the carne, I'm just not a carne asada girl. My brother likes it. The tortilla is always holding the taco together and I really enjoy the extras (radishes, grilled jalapeños, onions, and lime) the only thing I wish for is more salsa variety. The mild is ok, I usually have it on my tacos and dip into their hot salsa for a new note as I eat. But too much red sauce kinda overwhelms the whole taco, just gotta find the balance :)“
“I come here for breakfast pretty often. I always get the same thing the catrachitas and two baleadas. I like to buy an avocado from the store next door and ask them to put it on both :) I love their atole and champurrado. I like to go home and add coffee to it. It's pretty consistent in my experience tho sometimes there will be a new person. They're nice people tho service isn't my main priority. I usually grab it to go but there are tables and chairs next to the trailer. Overall I highly recommend definitely helps if you speak Spanish.“
