“The Davis farmers market is already a must-visit, but the entire experience is enhanced by a trip to the Handheld truck. Their flavors change every week, and often are seasonal, but never fail to be unique and flavorful! They always have a couple savory and a couple sweet pie options, so my partner and I will get lunch and dessert in a one-stop trip! There is rarely a line, since the pie are premade and kept warm (or cold for some of the dessert pies), ready to be enjoyed! You just order, and they hand you the food, with little stamps on them to indicate the flavor. The workers are super friendly, and answer any questions you may have. Handheld operates out of quite possible the most adorable food-truck I've ever seen or ordered from, with a vintage, old-fashioned homemade delivery service vibes, and I was first drawn to the look of the truck way back before I even knew what the sold. But boy was I impressed once I read their menu and tried their food. They always have a couple vegetarian options, as well as a couple with meat, so there is something for everyone, and it's all worth it. Do yourself a favor, and stop by the next time you are at the farmers market in need of a snack or some lunch :)“
“Shah's is a truck, and I got it at the football game, so I can't really note on ambiance. The workers were nice! Food wise, it was great! However, the prices were pretty high for a food truck, a friend of mine got their loaded fries and it was about $20! I got a gyro myself and that too was delicious but I do think the menu prices are a bit high, and I wouldn't say the food is THAT amazing to justify it. Also, I think the peppers on top are a really nice touch!“

“I finished shopping at Trader Joe's and pumping gas at Arco near by. I was trying to decide what I was going to eat for lunch. Shah's Halal Food truck was a few yards away and caught my eye! Score!!! I walked up and was kindly greeted by the man at the counter. I ordered the lamb over rice. My food was handed to me in a paper bag at the side window, not too long after I paid. There was no more than a 2 minute wait. Once I grabbed my food, the man asked me what drink I wanted. Options were canned Pepsi or diet Pepsi, or water. Pepsi it is! I was excited smelling my delicious food through the bag. The lamb was calling my taste buds! Once I got back into my car, I took a few bites before I pulled out of the parking lot. Delicious!!! The rice was well cooked and flavorful, not sticky nor overcooked. The lamb was well seasoned and cut into into cubed, bite size pieces over the rice and lettuce. The sauce gave it a nice savory and spicy (I was asked if I want my food spicy when I ordered at the window) taste to it. I couldn't put my spork down! I definitely will order from Shah's again the next time I am in Davis. Thanks for lunch :)“
“2 fish and 1 shrimp taco. Full of flavor. They definitely do not short change you with fish and shrimp. The sauce was incredible and the cucumber adds a nice crunch. The lady in front of me took home a nice sized container of shrimp cocktail with tostadas. I think I want try that next.“
“Best quesabirria in Woodland!! Always full of well flavored meat and gooey cheese. I don't always get the consume when I go other places (especially if it costs extra), but theirs is soooo good!! Ive tried it plenty of other places on/around Main st, but I wouldn't give any of the others 5 stars“
“Had the asada and pastor burrito. The asada was about average. The pastor was above average but not the best. San Diego's tacos El Gordo is the best imo. These guys had thr flavor right but I just prefer the crispness at Gordos. Anyways food was satisfying. The cashier Leo was kind enough to let me sample the asada and pastor. Not even a hesitation. I appreciate that. A+ service. I'd definitely come again.“
“Best quesabirrias in town in my opinion. So much meat, very cheesy and the tortilla is nice crispy!! You can get three and you would be absolutely stuffed! Also their tortas are amazing and packed with flavor. My favorite is the torta de lengua and everything about it was perfect! Bread was toasted nicely, meat had great flavor, it was spicy just the way I like it and more! If your looking for a new truck I recommend antojitos Jaimito. Angie is also very nice and friendly and there is little wait time! Definitely stop by and check them out when you have a chance!“
“WoW I'm so glad I found this taco truck parked inside the parking lot of the Auto Repair! It's delicious and I've never had such a perfect taco made for a long time! We came out to Woodland for an emergency tire repair and got hungry. So glad I convinced my husband to give this a try. So glad that we did and will be back next week!!! Easy to find, parked inside the auto repair parking lot across from Home Depot. Can't miss it!“
“These are some of the best tacos in the area! The flavor really just comes out in the meat. The radish and carrots they give with their tacos and the cilantro in the tacos are fresh, adding to the taste. The tortillas have a nice crunch to them.“
“The truck has moved over to 101 West Court St. \u0026 California Ave. across from the Donut shop formerly the Car Wash. Mexican food can be eaten anytime and even everyday when it's this good. This truck is very good. I like all their tacos and the breakfast burrito. The people are friendly and always greet you with a smile. That's hard to find these days.“
“Oh, man, where do I start, I found this place thru google, and every time I pass, I have to stop by.Personal Fav. - Beef Lamb Gyro Plate. He even adds sauce to your liking. He makes it hot and warm.Prices are very competitive. I would rather spend my lunch money here than Falafel Corner.Parking: Parking right by the truck.“
