“This place is not called el Piquin Mexican Grill anymore. it’s called Taqueria La Fogata and since they have changed owners. the food has been so much better and more delicious than ever before. everything on the menu is great especially their chicken that they specialize in. every type of food from breakfast lunch and dinner. They never disappoint and always great outdoor seating and staff is wonderful. ????“

“As a Taiwanese person who grew up in boba land, I can tell you that the boba milk tea is pretty good. It's more towards milky end instead of rich tea flavor ones. Their original recipe is not too sweet so there's no point to adjust the sweetness. Or just ask the owner to make his favorite ratio. You should totally give it a try. (I cannot endorse other items as I just tried one product)“

“Was craving fruit tea after the 626 market and found this spot on the map!I tried the house fruit tea with lychee jelly and no sugar and my boyfriend got a mango latte with boba and 50% sweetness. Both were honestly so good!! The mango latte was creamy and sweet and my house fruit was such a nice blend of fruit - it had pieces of strawberries, passion fruit seeds, and slices of lemon and lime. It's cute and cozy in here and there are some good restaurants in this shopping center. And the staff are friendly and helpful right when you walk in. They also do a weekly raffle for boba plushies!“

“I've had many açaí bowls from different spots and Roots & Rye just hits different. I loooooove that you can get not only the açaí blend but the matcha blend as well. Their portion size of each thing they add in the bowl is also perfect, not too much one one thing or another and there are definitely places that might overdo it on, say, the granola or the blended stuff. I've only been to this location so I can't speak for the other spots but at this one, they only let in a few people at a time which means a line can end up forming outside. I haven't had to deal with a long line before but it can definitely take some time to get everyone through and finally make it inside. Still, one of my favorite açaí places, if not my favorite!“

“If the review was solely about drinks, then I'd give it a 5 star. The ambiance is nice and relaxing. However, the parking lot in the back gets pretty dark after 5:30. However, please fix your kiosk system. There was a service fee on top of 10.25% tax for ordering the drinks yourself on the machine. Do better. Don't treat your loyal customers like garbage. It was extremely disappointing when I had to get told by your staff that they won't be able to refund the drinks.I was never taxed when I order directly from your cashier... and I had to pay a service fee for ordering myself. I was extremely disappointed.“

Both the acai and coconut layers were SO refreshing! We topped it off with every fruit selection they had, and overall it was a nice balance :)Selections for toppings are pretty standard, though other acai spots I've been to have definitely had a broader selection. “Woke up with a tickle in my throat and knew I needed fresh juices n ginger asap. I called to ask if they make ginger shots and THEY DO! Just not listed on the website. I forget the prices he quoted me. I think 16oz ginger shot was $20? I got 8oz. The 8oz is easily about 3 shots so I'm a happy camper. Also got a large immune system booster. I'm not a beet juice person *at all* but this wasn't bad. Tasted the OJ and carrots more than beets. So glad I found this place. I've tried misc ginger shots in the area and all have been pretty subpar. I KNEW there had to be a place out here that served amazing fresh ginger shots and I didn't have to drive all the way to Silverlake. Will be back!!“

“This place is right on the corner and I was able to park right to the left of it with the metered parking. I came mid week and in the middle of the day since it was a nice warm day. I got the ritual acai bowl with the original mix. It was a perfect combo and size to keep me going until dinner. The fruit was fresh and the peanut butter was the perfect amount for the whole bowl. The service was stupendous and I appreciated that he explained the different toppings they offered. The ambiance is chill and I definitely want to come back.“

It was soo good, I loved all of it.Location: It's on the 2nd floor across from the sushi place. Once you get to the top of the first part of the stairs, make a right, and the coffee shop is in there.The coffee shop has a sweet lady who is very excited to see people come in. It's located in a private spot due to the number of closed shops on the same floor, so definitely stop by here and support this sweet lady. She works on her own and she always has the biggest smile. You can tell she enjoys making the drinks and food. Also, it's a great place to get cooled off. “I stopped by randomly at night, and it was empty. The decor was nice and vibrant. With lots of anime stuff, which is awesome to me as an Otaku. I ordered the mango passion fruit lemonade. It was made quickly and to perfection. The level of sweetness to tartness was spot on. The lady asked me to taste it before I left to ensure I liked my drink. I told her it was perfect. This particular location has had many tea owners inhabit it, but hopefully, this place is around for a long while. I wanna try lots of other delicious drinks!“

“I used to frequent Bambu growing up and all the ones in my area closed. I saw this spot next to the restaurant I was having dinner at and knew I was going to be getting dessert from here. If I just hadn't had a pasta dinner, I would have ordered a Chewy Pandan but I knew that would be too filling so I opted for the Jelly Coco. The Jelly Coco is coconut water based instead of coconut milk so it's more refreshing and lighter. It fruits (coconut, lychee, longan) and fun pandan and basil seed bits. I enjoyed my drink and would definitely be returning to try the Chewy Pandan. Service was quick! We were there arounf 30 minutes before closing and although there were a few people who ordered ahead of us, we still got our drinks fairly quick. The inside has very few seating so I would'nt hangout there for too long.“

“I absolutely love this juice bar! I found it by accident walking around the neighborhood and popped in for a smoothie. It was amazing. You can taste the freshness and quality ingredients. Everything is made with ripe fruit, fresh and organic ingredients. They even sold spotted bananas! This is my new juice place.“

“I heard about Jugos Naturales through word of mouth. I decided to pay the establishment a visit. When I entered the restaurant it reminded me about the mom n pop shops aesthetic found in Mexico. Very vibrant colors and many pictures of the food they sell. The two ladies working the establishment were very kind and did not rush us when we looked over the menu. We diced to order a torta that did not disappint, an esquite with Hot Cheeto crumbs that was something new for me but definitely not a regret, a licuado de platano which was delicious, and a bionico that was extremely generous in serving. “Decided to treat myself to a milk tea after a run and looked up local boba shops in the area and came across Moo Tea. I got a regular milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice and it was good! The tea flavor was definitely present but not as strong as other places in the area. If you're a bit more sensitive towards sweetness in your drinks, I would stick with 25% as I found the 50% to be a bit too sweet for me. I came at around 4 PM on a Sunday and the store was empty so the service was undeniably quick. There's a kiosk to order from so you can take your time and look through the menu. Overall, a good experience and would come back!“

“What a great donut spot. Staff is friendly and always great you with a smile. The ambiance is your classic donut shop with a glass case to view your doughnuts as you make your selections. They have refrigerates that store your cold drinks like juice, chocolate milk, milk etc. of course they serve coffee for those of you who want one with your donut and they also sell breakfast sandwiches. We usually go for the donuts. Donuts are great. We've had everything from glazed, maple bars, chocolate bars, cake donuts and of course the traditional donut holes. Every donut is very good.
