“Authentic hidden gem right off the 99 freeway. Friendly/Bilingual service, easy parking, and tasty food for affordable prices. Breakfast burritos were delicious and the Al Pastor burrito came with avocado and had a ton of flavor. Tacos were cheap too. I got two of each and they all had great flavor.“
“Other Taco Bell's need to be trained by this one! Customer service is excellent, food prepared with care and not just thrown in the bag. Take a look at my Mexican Pizza...all in tact! Not stingy on the sauces and they don't fight with you or give you the stank eye for extra sauce. Moorpark, Cali Taco Bell...take note of this because you can do better!“
“This is our favorite spot in Delano. Clean, good staff, and great food. I love the simplest recipes to the authenticity taste of Mexico. I don't need to go to Mexico to enjoy the good food, it is in Delano. For business meetings, gatherings, parties, this place can accommodate. It is very lit up, the ambience is calming, and bright. Enjoy your meal! The locals are catching on this hidden gem in Delano. We all can taste the difference in good quality food.“
“Was taken to lunch here by a older member of Delano community. It looks and feels like a pro shop sandwich shop but is supposed to be a "fancy" place?Well the service was excellent and the food was just ok but it was a decent experience and I'd go again if I were in Delano and didn't have other options...but very good service for sure! Four!!“
“Was in wasco for a week for a job and I didn't know what place had great Mexican food. Then I met a family at Walmart and they recommended this place. I went to eat there Wednesday night and it was amazing. The food was authentic Mexican cuisine and homemade. The restaurant was like an old western Clint Eastwood movie. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. Anybody in town check the restaurant out absolutely worth the time.“
“Another day on my taco quest led me to Taqueria Janitzio, not to be confused with the Carniceria next to it as they are both from the same owner. As I walk in I finally feel a hint of an AC unit, really cool and small place with 4-5 tables. As I ordered I was greeted by Mayra, and we talked about the menu. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and asked me about my past experiences in Mexican restaurants. She assured me today would be a great experience. I ordered 4 tacos, 1 tripa, 1 al pastor, 1 buche, and 1 cabeza. To my surprise Mayra made sure my taco de tripas was just the way I like them....a little fried but with chew and softness as opposed to the burnt so called tripas in other places. She also explained why I couldn't get my favorite lengua taco (which had to do with market price of tongue) and to my surprise, I did not miss the lengua taco bc the buche taco was a good or even better. It was soft and chewy with beefy flavor in the back of the palate. The Al Pastor was chunky, which was something that caught me by surprise but in a good way. The meat was tender and the spices and citrusy flavor came through. I'm sure to be back to try something new on the menu, or just to say hi to the ladies at the restaurant. Especial thanks to Maura because she was very welcoming and carried a fun food conversation with me during my visit.“
“Outside seating option only (shaded). They have many food options. I have tried and recommend their shrimp tacos, ceviche tostadas, and chorizo/bacon burritos (you can choose between potatoes and cheese or rice and beans with a meat). Their tamales were ok. Not much meat on them but the flavor was good. I love that they give chips, salsa, and a grilled chile with all their dishes.“
“We went to a restaurant and it was closed so we walked down the block and we stumbled upon this place and decided to try it. It has an A rating. The portions were generous and food was tasty. Only one thing is that their menu doesn't have prices which is strange if you're on a budget. Someone else paid for all the food so I can't compare it to other places.“
“First time trying a Torta, yeah, yeah, born and raised in cali, and now I try a Torta! People this was a thing of beauty and so damn filling and delicious. Every time I am passing by (for work)/I stop grab a carnitas Torta and a drink and enjoy a bit of heaven on a bun. Awesome spot, clean, friendly, and worth every penny.“
“Got the carnitas tacos in handmade torts. The carnitas tacos were ok, they came with onions and cilantro, The tortillas were pretty good. Grilled onions, jalapeños and a pretty tasty red salsa were on the side.I washed 'em down with an agua de jamaica. It was really good.Overall a decent meal.“
“Great service, great food! We loved the food and service so much we went back two days in a row. We ordered carne asada tacos, quesbirrias, pupusas, and Caldo de res. Everything was delicious, but our favorite were the carne asada tacos with the handmade tortillas, which are big size tacos. The meat was so flavorful and delicious, we couldn't get enough. Next time we're in the area, we already know we're going there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for tacos!“
