There is something magical about fresh warm bread and cold picked vegetables. I got teriyaki chicken which was delicious. Also tried the bbq pork which was pretty good. Unlike some bahn mi places they didn't overdo the sauces. Will be back! It's a perfect meal after a hike.

Great post-hiking meal! You can order on the two screens on the side or at the cash register. You can also customize your order with notes at the ends. It's a cute and well-decorated shop but it is small, so it won't be able to sit many people. It's more like a order and eat outside type of shop. The food came out pretty quickly. I was biking through San Rafael with a friend and needed a bite before crossing back over the bridge. Banh Mi Zon just happened to be at one of the last intersections in our route before we had to make a turn, so we decided to stop in on a whim. We actually almost missed it - the exterior is unassuming and it's in a small lot next to a nail salon.
