“On my first visit here, I ordered the pork rice plate and the fried Vietnamese egg rolls (A2 on the menu). These were both very satisfying and delicious. The only thing I wished were different was that they provided bigger slices of lettuce to wrap the egg rolls, but we still loved them. The restaurant is clean and they offer the option to sit outside or inside, which is perfect because cold weather and pho go hand-in-hand in my book.On this visit, I ordered the #25, which was the mì egg noodle soup that had squid, pork, shrimp, and fish balls in it. This was probably my favorite dish so far. The mix of everything was perfect and the fish balls were my favorite kind (the ones with the fish eggs inside of it). Their rice plates are also pretty good and perfectly sized. From experience, some places don't offer that much meat but this place is generous. For all visits, I was always greeted and sat right away. For the people leaving reviews saying that they were never checked on, I've never been to a Pho restaurant where they do that... so, get used to it. You always either have to flag them down or go up when you're ready to pay haha“
“This place has a classic, low key local vibe that really makes you feel relaxed and cozy. You can choose between booth seats by the window or table seating that works for both smaller and larger groups. Personally a big fan of their beef stew - loaded with fresh ingredients and the soup is absolutely delicious. The grilled chicken tastes good too, although the rice can be a bit on the softer side the day I had. Staffs are welcoming and wearing smiles all the time. Inexpensive price. Highly recommended if you’re in the mood for authentic and casual Vietnamese food!“
“First time here with my friend for pho and it was good, my friend and I enjoyed the pho that we ordered! They offer a good amount of food in the menu and even seafood boil! Their service is pretty quick with seating and serving the food. Ambiance is family friendly and their parking lot offers plenty of spots.“
“Friendliest and fastest service ever! Owner (I think?) greeted me with a big smile, seated me quickly with a menu, and was very attentive. Knew exactly when to come up to take my order, when to refill waters, etc. I really appreciate their polite and friendly efficiency, and I never felt rushed out the door either.Brisket pho was very good, and the small portion was more than enough. There was quite a lot of meat in it! Nice pop music playlist for some fast casual vibes as well. I'd come back here. Also an excellent location since it's right next to a bunch of hotels!“
“This used to be a Burger King and awesomely they still have the drive-through going on but I have not utilized it yet for pho. They did a good job of shaping up the interior and the drab windows are even tinted with color now.I liked the broth of the beef pho and it came with a good amount of meat and green onions surprisingly. The noodle portion was on the small side. They add an automatic 10% service fee which is fine as I would at least tip that much but just FYI in case anyone didn't notice and take that into account before tipping more.“
“The OG pho house in SJ. Solid broth - you could taste the hours spent cooking the soup base. Tendons and brisket were fresh and thinly sliced, as they should. Simple menu with mostly pho and different add-ons. Feels home-y and a treat on a cold night. Cash only.“
“This place gets SUPERRR crowded during the weekend. The waits are usually around 10-20 mins. Weekdays are your ideal days to go. Since I went on a super crowded day alone, it took me 5 minutes to be seated and 3 minutes to wait for my food. The pho tai was a 4/5. The broth was super flavorful, but the beef was a little undercooked for my liking. Definitely would come back on a less crowded day!“
“Having had pho in many places in the bay area, this was probably the best so far. Other placed use the wrong noodle, the wrong ingredients, or downright the wrong style of soup for pho. The noodles here were not too expensive, 3 bowls totaling about $60 with tip. Here, you have the choice of noodle options, the flat traditional noodle, or the thin angel hair pho noodle. I ordered the angel hair thin rice noodle as this is what I usually order. The soup broth was done well, with a decent amount of meat and noodles. The spring rolls were large and very satisfying. The service is done with via robot or by human. The robot is very accurate, pulling up to mere inches from the table and turning to allow you to grab your order! Very innovative and fresh new idea to use robots to deliver pho.The restaurant itself is nestled in San Jose, right on King Road. It's in a VERY popular Vietnamese little strip mall, so parking may be tight. Inside, it's fairly loud, with music playing, people talking, and robots delivering food. If I lived near here, this would compete for one of the most regular places I would frequent! Give it a try!“
“This is the second time that I have tried this place. The first time I went it was a disappointment because of the puny portion size of the rice plates. I learned my lesson the first time, so I went for a Pho soup. The large doesn't look big like my go to spot, but it is definitely filling because of the tons of protein in it. The 3 egg rolls plate was great! The coffee there is super strong, if you are looking for something to wake you up then that's the place to get your coffee.Vegetarian options: The menu has a strictly vegetarian section which is wonderful because you can bring your vegetarian friends with you. You can also get the vegetarian plates If that's what you are craving in the moment.Parking: The parking lot is a small/ medium size. So it might be hard to find a spot if it's a busy hour or day. They do have disabled parking spots.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp for you to go up to the main entrance of the Pho spot.“
“If you're thinking of eating pho, eat early because there is no ac in here. Spacious restaurant. My friends and I ordered grilled pork over rice, grilled beef over vermicelli, grilled pork over Vermicelli and pork chop over rice. The flavor was good 8/10. The eggrolls were crunchy and flavor was good 8/10. We came late around 8 pm and they close at 9. We got our food within 20 mins. Service was fast. They gave huge portion on the grilled pork over rice. We end up taking leftovers to go. I would come back here again.“
