“Had a nice evening at Dominicos on the lake this evening. My wife and I had reservations and were fortunate to ask Kory for a patio table which he accommodated. Michael took us to our table and was very kind and professional. Pedro came by with our bread and water and said hello. He is one of the hardest working individuals at the restaurant. Eddie our server came by and took our orders with a bottle of Austin Hope and bread to start. My wife ordered a chicken breast salad and I had the chef's special stroganoff which was amazing. Unfortunately my wife's salad came out 30 minutes after my stroganoff which was a cardinal sin in the restaurant business and we mentioned it was not acceptable. Eddie apologized and we also had Steven, the GM, come by and also apologize and ensure the salad would be out shortly. The salad was delivered, of course after I ate my entree and Steven dropped off and apologetic gift certificate for an appetizer during our next visit. We also ordered an additional beef stroganoff plus an order of meatballs to take home for tomorrow. We undertake things happen and it's certainly nice to see the restaurants busy again but a party of two receiving their entrees 30 minutes apart is not conducive with quality service. I am guessing the chef either misplaced the order or overlooked the obvious and we hope next time we will not have such issues as the restaurant is very good and in a fantastic location. Michael also came back around and stated he was concerned about this mishap and would look into this. As a retired government administrator and former restaurant manager in my college days I expect the simple things like entrees being delivered at the same time to be in sync with quality service and dining. We will be back and see if in fact this was an isolated incident. Good food and ambiance plus. The price online says $9.99 but at the window it says $12.99. I told the nice woman I'd be back. That's my new go to food place whenever I visit the Health Care Agency near by.”

I wrote a positive review maybe twice in my life here’s my third. Start with the cashier, I really can’t say I ever had anyone serve me with a better attitude than the guy who helped me and I say right by the register and he kept that amazing attitude with all customers. At first I had 3 chicken tacos from the taco Tuesday deal (which I might say isn’t cheap, but quality costs) which were surprisingly good because I don’t love shredded chicken. The chicken was so good I decided to get an asada one as well just to make sure they really are as good as it seems. They crushed it, asada taco came to over 7$ after taxes and it glad to say I’ll be happy to pay that price anytime anywhere to get that same taco!”

Our server was extremely attentive. Move your dish an inch and it was cleared before you even noticed. That kind of service matters.
Honestly, I struggled to find a single negative thing to say about the food or the experience itself. So I want to be clear: if a neighbor asked me where to find good, close sushi in Ladera Ranch, I would send them here without hesitation.
But there's something I've been thinking about since walking out, and maybe other people feel the same way.
Half the fun of a sushi bar has always been the connection. Knowing your chef. Picking up a conversation where you left off last time. The kind of familiarity where you end up buying your chef a drink because that's just the relationship you've built. It's one of the things that makes a neighborhood sushi spot feel like a neighborhood sushi spot.
That experience doesn't exist here. The chefs are skilled and clearly focused, but there was no eye contact, no conversation, and from what I observed, heads buried in phones between orders. It felt almost like a policy. And maybe it is. Maybe that's intentional. But it's a noticeable absence.
The food doesn't even have to be perfect for a place to earn that kind of loyalty. Some of the spots people drive across town for built their reputation on the relationship as much as the rolls. I miss that.
So: great food, great service, spotless restaurant. Absolutely worth going. I just hope someday the sushi bar feels like a sushi bar again.”

What everybody calls professional staff with great service, is actually the PERSIAN HOSPITALITY which no Persian restaurant would last without it. Persian moms take their cooking seriously and if the food at a Persian restaurant doesn't meet their high standards, they wouldn't load up the whole family to go there for family dinners and catered parties.”

Matcha tasted good and nice seating inside but I’ll stick to making matcha at home or go to other shops that charges $6 for matcha instead of coming back here. Also, internet did not work for me but thankfully I had hotspot on my phone.”

“I like this place. They sell pizza in two sizes, 10’ and 14’ and the pizza is good.
They are thin crust ( Gluten Free is available), large slices with a crunchy crispy crust. The sauce is not my favorite and the cheese is likely a blend but sticks to slices fairly well. I cannot taste any basil in the sauce but there is oregano for sure, not sure about parsley, kind of hard to get it right with only one reheated slice but I would vouch for their quality being that the slice I ate was a reheat and it I still tasted as if it had just came out the first time. The menu is great for a pizza store and Bar, including individual and shareable dishes. The bar is capable of hosting 9-10 people and they have a side section with a table for another 3. It is spacious in here and has a legit ambiance. The music they are playing is top hits spanning many generations and decades. It is pumping but not too loud to make it hard to talk or hear. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you want to try a beer on tap before you commit, just ask and they will accommodate. I found their Beer on Tap selection to be fairly comprehensive including everything from Hazy IPA’s to Modelo, to Coor’s Light. Their Hazy IPA is easy to drink and feels like a light beer but with full punch.
Trying their Bar Sampler now and will be back to try their other things. I have tried many places here in Mission Viejo since 1985 when we moved here and I feel like this place should get a chance from everyone. It is kind of hidden but if you live around here, you like to have pizza and beer or a calzone, salad, etc. while you watch sports, this is a good spot. The bar tender was awesome and that goes a long way with me!”

“I was over joyed that they were able to make me a Iced hot chocolate (personally my favorite drink that no big brand company has)
And the staff were SO nice! But the only downside is that there were almost no seats we had to take a small walk to find some good chairs but other than that the service and the food are amazing! And they are lovely people. If you ever have the time you should totally come over and visit.”

“My wife and I randomly picked this spot and we are glad we did! One of the few sandwich spots in the Mission/Laguna area making fresh sandwiches! We had the Pastrami Ruben & The Mobster. Highly recommend this place. Oh and get a cookie too, they are great. I promised myself I'd only get one, but the dude helping us order already knew; we got a second one to go (grabbed a lack & White, very tasty)!”

““The pink coconut matcha drink was refreshing, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The coconut flavor blended smoothly with the matcha without being too sweet. It had a beautiful presentation and tasted just as good as it looked. A unique and delicious drink I would definitely order again!”

I was offered a french burrito which was really fricken good.
The next week, I wanted to order it again but the manager was here this time and said it does not exist anymore. I asked for a burrito in a crepe, she pandored upon it, and said alright. It was really good.
This week, I tried to order the burrito in a crepe again and was denied. They cannot do it apparently. French lady scary. I am too afraid to ask why they cannot do the burrito on a crepe again.”
