I was very excited to find Gherkins Sandwich shop while on a week long trip to HMB. As a vegetarian we usually get stuck with the same repetitive sandwich options when going to delis, but I was ecstatic to see that most of their sandwich options could be made vegetarian by substituting the default protein with tofu.I got a number 19 - Cal Fire with tofu which had honey mustard sauce, avocado and cheese (I switched the pepper jack for swiss). Shared the West Coaster on a wheat roll with my mom! So good! Theres a lot in this sandwich, one of the best I’ve ever had. A great meal for two people to share. Sat outside, lovely view.
