This little place opened about 5 months ago and it's worth the drive over! We ordered a mocha coffee with whipped cream and a chocolate croissant, In dessert heaven(I would have added a pic of the chocolate croissant, but hubby got to it before I could set it down) . Very welcoming and attentive as you walk in. Lots of seating outside, inside or inside the hotel lobby.
This Carmel bakery location has some of my favorite treats from the location in downtown Carmel by the sea. I wish they had the eclairs that are in Carmel by the sea but it doesn't look like they have a refrigerated section behind the counter. I love that they sell local treats, already prepackaged from other local restaurants. Like marinara and packaged food. This is a great place in downtown Monterey to get a treat and a cup of coffee.
