“Da Big Easy is back at it. I ordered fried okra, but once again they didn't make the photo shoot because they didn't survive the ride home, not even the lagniappe. The oxtails were tender and succulent (falling off the bone). That fluffy rice layered with that silky gravy. The Mac n cheese was cheesy creamy yummy and the yams complementevery bite perfectly. You guys don't disappoint. That peach cobbler was so good! The owners treat you like you're guests in their home-real southern hospitality!“

“I usually go to kickin crab in corona but we were in the Temecula/Murrieta area and decided to give this place a try. It looks like a cute mom/pop restaurant inside. Our servers seemed like young high schoolers, very nice and accommodating service. We ordered a basket of catfish that comes with fries, 1 pound of snow crab and 1 pound of shrimp. For the shrimp, we ended up getting the combo for the shrimp because it comes with potato, corn, & sausage for $2-3 more vs if you order Al a cart for sides you would end up spending the same or more. Our total for all the food came out to about $74. The sauce isn't too sweet which I like. We got "the mix" medium spice for the crab and "the mix" mild, which is a mix of all the sauces in one. In my opinion, the medium was better. I feel that the medium spice gives it an extra kick of flavor. I just wished they gave a bit more sauce in the bag. The portions are perfect aside from the sauce. I even feel like they gave a bit extra snow crab. Every single leg had so much meat. I feel like some places skimp on that and then end up charging so much! The shrimp was perfectly cooked as well and easy to peel.The catfish and fries were crispy and well seasoned with Cajun. I would definitely come back!“
“Definitely among the best sushi restaurants in the area. Authentic, with a big menu and the freshest fish. Not all rolls are winners, but 99% of them are exceptional. Having just returned from Japan, we asked if it would be possible to order a couple of side dishes that are not on the menu. They were happy to accommodate us, and the items were perfectly, authentically prepared. Tbh, I am so tired of sushi restaurants in the USA that use the tired excuse for their unfriendly service that "its not like that in Japan ". First off, true, the servers in Japan don't make small talk with you, but NOONE is rude. Second, most sushi restaurants in the US are not owned/staffed by Japanese nationals , so that particular cop-out is straight up cultural appropriation. Lastly, this is the USA, so if you're going to open a business here, adhere to the standards here. Sorry for the rant, lol, my point being, Nekko Sushi is a rare exception. In addition to great sushi, everyone is VERY friendly. It's refreshing to see people strive to make their restaurant great!“

“Visiting from NC and decided to check this place out.. SO HAPPY WE DID!! Everything was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every bite & you can tell it was all made with love. I ordered the “Tasty 4” that came with: Jambalaya, Po’ Man Gumbo, Red Beans & Rice, & Shrimp Etoufee. My wife & mother in-law shared the 2x2 (fried chicken & fish) plate, with Greens & Mac & Cheese.We were not expecting to have such good Creole food in Murrieta lol such a pleasant surprise. We’ve been having bad luck with eating out, so this restored faith. Place was clean, staff was very friendly.10/10! Can’t wait to come back!“
