“Where has this place been all my life??? It feels like a spa. All tucked away from the hustle bustle. Lots of green and chill vibes. The friuted sour is literally all I ever wanted in a beer. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. This place is the perfect location to start your night out, or come for a quick break from life. Def will be back “

“The world's best kombucha! Seriously. Not too sweet, not too tangy. Just right. I've tried many kombuchas and none compare. The flavors are always great and rotate frequently. All natural ingredients. Really cool little shack right in Ocean Beach. I always love taking it to Sunset Cliffs and enjoying my kombucha by the ocean.“

“A great brewpub in the Gaslamp. Tasty beers, attentive staff and super dog friendly. Lots of special offers, like game day discounts, which is also nice to see. Didn’t eat here, but the food looked good. A good place for hanging out with your mates.“
“Great service and amazing beer! We got a chance to taste their traditional beers as well as some of their experimental beers. The staff gave us an in depth description of the ideas behind their experimental beers and made for a great night out! Will come again and I highly recommend this spot. An up and coming gem in SD.“
“I’ve frequented plenty of breweries on the west coast, and I have a handful of favorites but East Village is another level. I literally have not have a bad beer from them, and that’s especially impressive since they typically drop a new beer a week. The owners are great, always happy to geek out with you. The staff is friendly and attentive, makes it feel like your hanging at a friends house. I just cannot speak highly enough of this place. An absolute gem among the already incredible SD brewing scene.“
“Very small place to get there early if you have a small group of 6 or more. Beer is ok from a ale drinkers perspective. We had the collaboration IPA they made with Burgeon brewery and that was by far the best they had on tap. Food was good but the pickled jalapeno poppers were a let down. To be fair it's hard to find fresh jalapeno poppers in this area. Most everyone uses frozen, pickled and breaded jalapeno poppers. Sad. Vib hear is quaint and mellow with an industrial look.“
“Super cute beer stop.(+) Vibe. They renovated an old Mexican Presbyterian Church into a cool beer hall.(+) Service. Friendly, helpful.(+) Beers. Good selection. They also have canned wine for those who don't like beer.(+) Dog friendly.(+) You can order hot dogs from the place next door and eat it there if you want to.“

“Ballast point has a lot of solid beers, though they aren’t the most flavorful. The blue beer/seltzer (can’t remember the name) is terrible in that it tastes like college (if that’s what they were going for then job well done!).The brewery is huge and has a lot of nice open seating, inside and outside. The food is great for being bar food (loved the pork belly Mac and cheese) and when our order was a little slow to come out they offered to comp us with beers (totally not needed- life happens- but we really appreciated the offer)“

“Evan has been at the register the couple of times I visited. His welcoming attitude makes the good food taste even better. The cheesesteaks are on point. I have family in Philadelphia area so I know a good cheesesteak when I have one!I will absolutely be a returning customer as I enjoyed both the food and the service. This place is also in my backyard. Glad I finally gave it a shot! Thanks Evan and the team at Evan's Deli & Brew. You guys are great.“
“This is a nice spot to hang out with friends. Beer is pretty good. I like Mexican flavor they use for their drink mixes. They have some tasty michelada mixes and some cocktails as well. There's also a taco stand that's pretty good too. It is pretty strange that the lounge area is separated from the bar though. Your going to have to take a nice walk every time you want more drinks.“
“I love the vibes here and the bartenders are super friendly! Seating options aren’t the most comfortable - lots of backless stools with a few exceptions spread throughout the building! Food was decent for bar food but nothing overly exciting! We’ll be back for drinks but probably not food!“
“Allow me to explain the reasons why I love Seek Brewing. First, the beer is expertly brewed, clean fermentations, with proper fermenting times creates a level of lager brewing that few can match in San Diego. Every lager has been outstanding. This is why you’ll see other long time SD brewers hanging out here. Not a lager drinker? No worries, the line of pale ales, West coast IPAs and hazy IPAs should fulfill just about everyone’s drink needs, even a few fruited sour beers are available. The Room: Small cozy interior with a small bar and a few tables. Bright with a modern simple design logo that bucks the trends for most breweries. The Patio: This is a large outdoor communal space (shared by the three breweries) that offers picnic tables, comfy patio chairs, a janga set, dart boards, and corn-hole boards. Food trucks and pop-up food vendors provide the eats. It’s a great place to enjoy the SD sunshine. The People: This is the best part, from the owners to the warm welcoming beer-tenders who make you feel like a part of the family. One particular staff member is the amazing Savanna whose personal good natured charm could melt an iceberg, she’s knowledgeable about the products and truly a great beer-tender.Get some!“
“A nice salty little tap room in a place we never would have found if our dog hadn't broken a $550 nail... The bartender was the pleasantly gruff you would want to expect at a wee neighborhood place. He definitely had me nailed just walking in for a Porter, the wartime chocolate, and a fine pick it was. As always in San Diego, a very IPA heavy menu (5 IPA, 3 cream, 2 sour) out of 16 taps, but the Kolsh was good as well. Atmosphere was very nice, for a cozy little place, especially for Canadian WWII buffs. If I am back this way, I will be back.“
“Had a great time here with our friends the day after our wedding. The team at Serpentine Cider was welcoming and their selection of ciders (I love cider but not a huge beer gal) was awesome -- from flights to individual pours, all of the ones I tried were delicious. The patio was perfect for having everyone on to hang out and mingle. Wish we were locals so we could have more fun gatherings here, but definitely recommend!“
“Great location, beer and views. They don’t serve food but you can bring food from nearby places (we went to Mitch’s next door). I had both the Try This Pale Ale and the Petunia IPA and loved both. The only negative was that I brought home a 4-pack of the Try This but I didn’t taste good (very malty and not happy anymore). Checked the canned date and it was over 4 months old :( The flavor was not the same anymore which was disappointing. I usually check the dates on the bottom of the can when I buy beer and the liquor store as they don’t sort out older ones. I didn’t think that I needed to check the date at the actual brewery’s tasting room but I definitely will in the future. Aside from that, it was a nice visit with great atmosphere on a sunny San Diego day!“
“Stopped by for a quick beer, very cool atmosphere and great hospitalityMichael and Scott were helpful when we asked to taste a few beers before we buy. Tastings FOR THE WIN!! Thank You!Had 2 delicious Double IPAs.Cheers ? ... till next time“

“We finished eating at Buona Forchetta and wanted to continue with drinks. Kindred was packed so we came to Harland. So glad we did. We got seated immediately, great drink options and great prices! It was too cold to sit outside but great if you have fur babies.“
“I tried the Buko Pandan Hazy IPA on draft at LHK Noodle Bar in Mira Mesa and it was DELICIOUS so I had to make a stop to the brewery in North Park to grab myself some cans!! I grabbed 2 sets of 4 cans and it came out to be $47.82 which is $5.98 per can. I typically don't enjoy IPAs because they're too hoppy for me, but on draft the coconut taste came out so much more prominent than the hops, it was magical. I feel like the cans tasted hoppier IMO, but it was still very well crafted and incredibly unique especially with the vibrant green Pandan color :0) Since I was just running in and out, I didn't see any cans of their Ube Stout available so I wasn't able to try it. I will definitely come back for that though, it sounded delicious as well.“
“When we visited Stone Brewing, the taphouse was located just outside Petco field. Even though they have since moved to Kettner, they remain a taproom for some of the best beer to come out of California (IMHO). With 16 of the best they have to offer at the moment, the taphouse is a mandatory visit place every time we come to town, with multiple flights planned to sample as much of the range as we can. Merchandise is available.“
“We threw a surpise birthday party for my husband here at Thorn Brewing. Morgan at Thorn helped me reserve half the venue for the party, we were able to bring in our own food/cake and with about 15 adults we hit the minimum for a beer tab during the 4 hrs we were there. I would recommend this place for a small party/get together. Good beer and great service!“
“Variety of beer with a nice outdoor patio! Pizza is available from Pizza Cassette, which is located inside the patio area. The patio is also shared with a winery and a meadery so everyone in your group will have several different types of drinks to choose from.“
“We went there with our two kids (10-12) and realy enjoyed IT.Kids were playin pinball games while we took a Beer.People there are friendly and they realy like what they Do. Do not hesitate to ask questions or to ask for a taster before you order.A need to stop place if youre on the road to/from Seaworld“
“Nice, intimate downstairs bar area. Would love to check out the upstairs bar area but seems to be very popular for private events. Nice, varied beer list. Bartender Taylor was very knowledgeable about the different beers and gave us excellent service. Very sweet and welcoming!“
“I don’t understand how Mission Brewery is not a 4.8 or higher but i suppose the issue for most folk is the waves of homeless outside the brewery. While it’s unfortunate, this is one of my favorite breweries from the vibe of the establishment and history of the building to the drinks and the PRICES!! $5 beer options at the time of writing this on March of 2024!!! can’t beat that in San Diego“
“Went to celebrate a birthday and had the most wonderful time learning about and brewing beer, all the while enjoying delicious brews and amazing company. Judd is an incredible host, he’s knowledgeable and fun to be around and the overall experience is one I’d highly recommend. Will be coming back!“

“Awesome little tap room in East village. Great relaxed atmosphere. Staff are super friendly and the selection of brews excellent. Definitely worth a stop. They have several locations across the city with each having a national theme based on the players in WWII.Great merch too!“
“I'm a regular visitor, live in the neighborhood. There's something about this brewing, it has its own charm. They have sour and regular beers. Two separate warehouses. I prefer regular and there are lots to choose from. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday they have food track till 8 pm and live music on weekends. The atmosphere and people are very nice here. It feels like a family:). I recommend visiting this place on the weekend evening.“
“Super cool space and good beer. I haven't loved modern times the most in cans but I was a big fan of the hazy I tried on draft. They had a cool record store that they built out recently within the warehouse as well, which is exciting to see.“

“This place was awesome! Great beers, good price and excellent staff. Nikki is by far, one of the BEST beertenders I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Truly hostiplable and personable. She, in combination of the fantabulous beers makes it ver worthwhile of the visit. Definitely will go back!“
“We just moved away, but this was our go to neighbors spot. I LOVE LM for their sours, but all of their beers are fantastic. The staff would also let me try crazy combos of half spurs and half other beers, or make fancy rims if I asked. Such a great community, wish we could have taken them with us. They're also dog friendly!!“
“This was the perfect venue for a large event! The owners were so accommodating and helpful to make sure that everything went perfectly for our large party; and it did! The space is amazing, games are fun, staff is friendly and helpful and everyone loved the beer selection. The super gigantic TV is a bonus also. I highly recommend!“
“3 Punk Ales is located in the heart of Little Italy off India Street, serving up some of the finest beers on tap!I recently came here for their grand opening and was blown away by their selection of beers and seltzers they have to offer. Inside the decor and ambiance is a very clean modern-day look with fancy wall paper through out the fine establishment. They have a large screen TV playing music for your entertainment with ample seating throughout the place. Their main brewery is located in Chula Vista, where they brew the beer and decided to branch out in Americas finest city's downtown in Little Italy.I came in twice so far and tried their premium Mexican lager as well as the San Diego lager named 3rd Avenue. I also had their grape soda, which is a seltzer, and it was quite refreshing. The menu is posted up, which has the name and description of the beverages with alcohol content and price. The customer service was indeed second to none and provided service with a smile. The prices for beer were fair, and the quality was superb! I'm looking forward to coming back again and trying the Italian pilsner or Italian soda. There is a restroom on site and and outside food is authorized to bring in. Please check out this place and bring your pup since they are dog friendly.Familia x Cerveza x Musica x Fiesta“

“The grapefruit Let's Go IPA and Italian Pilsner are two favorites for sure. The place is perfect for family and friends. Ice cream next door for kids, taco truck close as well, and the best beer. Don't forget, they are dog-friendly!“
“Some of the best beer in San Diego. Stopped in about a month ago and sampled some beer. They have a style of beer that I have not been able to find anywhere else. "Rausch" style beer. The malt that they use is smoked. It gives the beer a very smokey and meaty flavor. Just the right amount of hops and not too bitter. It is named "7 years of smoke." And I have to mention that the service is outstanding. Also on Sundays "grenades" are half price. A "grenade" is half a "growler" Actually as I am writing this I am drinking one of their beers!!!! LOL“

“We found Cucina Caprese after wanting to find a restaurant in San Diego that wasn’t another Mexican food tourist trap. I am SO glad that we did.It is clear that the owner is intimately involved with the food that is served here. Ingredients are fresh, menu is easy to understand, and although there was not a kids specific menu, we were able to find some great options that both of our kids enjoyed. The Gnocchi al Pesto was probably the best gnocchi I’ve had in my entire life, and the prosciutto burrata was flavorful and absolutely delicious. We were able to walk right in and be seated immediately. Staff were all extremely friendly and attentive. Be prepared to wait a little bit for your food to arrive…I mention this not because it negatively impacted our experience, but because authentic, FRESH Italian food is made to order, takes time, and may not be expected by those of us used to an Americanized take on authentic Italian. I can’t wait for another trip to San Diego so that I can come back.Don’t hesitate…give this place a try!!Kid-friendliness: No kids menu, but plenty of great options that our 7 & 10 year olds enjoyed!“

“Me and my girlfriend came for the first time today and we had a blast! Tons of the people from community were at the bar and we met some new friends everyone spoke highly of the place as well. Matt was our bartender and took care of us exceptionally. We had a couple margaritas and wings and all of of it was super tasty. If you're looking for a good place to grab a bite have a drink and relax this place is perfect!“
“I LOVE this brewery! Even though i'm not a huge beer drinker, Harland always has something I like. The staff here is awesome! Logan and Jake are awesome and will always take care of you with a smile on their face! One of the newest editions to their menu is the Mexican Lager with lime and hot cheetos! If you love beer and you love hot cheetos, come by and give it a try!“
“North Park location has a fun vibe, fun atmosphere with great music, lots of seating available, and really enjoy all of the beers. We are close enough to walk, but have friends meet us who have easily found off street parking (early evening). Check it out!!“
“A cute little bar in normal heights! Lots to look at inside and one walk is covered with Polaroids of dogs- so cute! Got a really good beer! Forgot the name, it was pineapple and a hazy ipa I believe and it might just be my new favorite beer! Lots of games to play and our bartender was the sweetest! Played some games for a while and had a good time here :)“
“The good:Delicious chocolate stout. A must try. Ambiance has a very cool vibeStaff is courteousFood looked good but wasn't hungry so didn't try it. They grill the carne asada in front of you. So you'll smell it all.The bad:Parking can be a bit challenging. Can be a bit loud at times (but is a bar, so suck it up)“

“Great experience at Modern Times Flavordome. Tron poured us drinks and was super knowledgeable about the entire menu. I tried all the hazy IPAs in a flight which was pretty good. I then had a pint of orderville which is my favorite. We were able to bring in our pizza from across the street and eat it inside.“
“Hands down my favorite place to hang out and have a few beers. Thier pizza slices are legit as well. I enjoyed the rotating beer menu and lamented some of the beers that fell out of rotation. It's a great place to bring a group to hang out and play games or chat, or to come alone and listen to the great selection of music or talk with the great personalities behind the bar.“
“BCB is a super cool unassuming AWESOME brew house. Located near Pachenga casino, BCB has about a dozen on tap offerings and each are fantastic. My fave is called juicy gang hazy ipa. Coming in at about 8 abv... this brew is no joke. It bursts w tropical, citrusy flavor and goes down way to easy. Go here by Uber and drink these wonderful beers!!!“

“I love this place! They serve craft beer, my favorite one is the Irish red, the place is decked out in Star Wars memorabilia, and they have unique art pieces on the walls. The place is quaint just like I like, they have a monthly reggae night on the 3rd Saturday of the month, and they have different art shows, bands, DJs, so you can definitely ask about booking your band/DJ! The other unique thing they have here is ice cream made in house infused with the beer they brew! So they basically have craft beer and icecream! Just recently, they started serving Kombucha! It's delicious! Best tasting kombucha ever! Brewed in house! Give this place a try they have something for everyone!“
