“We've stopped in here a few times now as a mid week hang out spot. Good alcoholic and non alcoholic kombucha options. Lots of little stashed away spots to sit, a neat ambiance. A little fun, a little cheesy, definitely commits to the theme. Personally we avoid live music nights, it's kind of all you can hear since the place is one big hallway. Cool place to add to the limited rotation of options on Grand.“
“Awesome small independent brewery in Escondido CA. It's definitely an unpretentious location that I love. I consider myself a IPA enthusiast and the Backyard Brewery's West coast IPA is one of my all time favorites. The owner, brewmaster is the bartender and is super friendly and can explain the ingredients of every beer on tap. They also have a store on site that supplies home brewing equipment.I live in Cleveland OH and spend a lot of time in North County. This was a great find and I'll definitely be visiting again soon.“
“I am blown away by the customer service of the team at The Oasis! Joey had me feeling like a regular after my second visit. The folks who patron The Oasis are friendly and that is a credit to the staff for cultivating a friendly and relaxing environment. Truly an oasis. I really enjoy when they have food trucks and other vendors selling items. It's exactly what this area of Escondido needs and if you're looking to meet some amazing people and have the best beer in San Diego! I really enjoy Juice Press and Clever Kiwi but the experts who are pouring will help lead you to the right beer for you. If you don't have time to stay and enjoy a pint, you can buy cans and growlers.“
“Went on a Saturday night while they were doing an Oktoberfest theme with live music. BIG location. Lots of parking, plenty of space inside. Great beer selection with a lot of variety and a couple seltzer options (including non/alcoholic). I tried a flight of IPA's and enjoyed the variety they serve. We ate beforehand but we were told they were serving Oktoberfest-themed food that night. Friendly service over the phone and in-person by the bartender. The live band was playing the usual rock covers but did a great job and the sound quality in the room was professional. The owner also held a beer stein holding competition that was very fun to watch haha.“
“Our waitress Diana was exceptionally helpful and professional and listened to our orders specifically to my allergies food issues!!! Food was great ! She was excellent!! All in all my husband and I had a great lunch and service!!! And the hostess Saniah was so awesome when we came in she greeted us with a smile and was so friendly andkind !!! To top it off the manager Andi came to our table and listened to our feedback and was so pleased with her employees and she we were happy with her as well… all in all !!! Fantastic job everyone!!!“
“Shoutout to Shylo for Making Our Night!Had an awesome time at Stone Brewery in Escondido and a lot of that was thanks to our waitress, Shylo. She was all about making sure we were having a great time – attentive, super funny, and really knew her stuff when it came to the menu and beers.Shylo had some spot-on recommendations for both food and drinks. Whether you’re a beer aficionado or just there to enjoy some good pub grub, she had the insight to make our picks perfect. She even went out of her way to ensure everything was just right for us, which honestly made our night. It’s not just about the food and drinks at Stone Brewery (though both are fantastic), it’s also about the vibes and the people. Shylo definitely made our experience better with her upbeat personality and dedication. Hope the management takes notice because it’s servers like her that keep us coming back. Can’t wait to drop by again. Hopefully, we’ll get lucky and have Shylo as our server!“
“WestBrew Vista is an absolute gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great beer, inviting atmosphere, and top-notch service. The diverse brew selection caters to every taste, and the culinary pairings are a delight. From lively events to sustainable practices, WestBrew Vista stands out. A must-visit for beer enthusiasts! ?“
“Cool off-the-beaten-path place (Melrose and Diamond St in San Marcos) with fantastic micro-brews. Frank (owner) is a meister at brewing and it shows - creative and classic flavors abound. The porters, malts and IPAs all deserve a try - and don't miss the hazy and the tripel!! He even does "spa water (seltzer) which is fantastic. Beer tenders are friendly and helpful and well informed - check the calendar on the website for weekly food vendors and activities - lots of walk and bike groups meet here during the week for exercise and libations afterwards!“
“Cool vibes! Went there on a sunny Saturday because I had heard such great things about this meadery and all good things were TRUE! I loved walking into Karaoke night and sitting back listening and sipping these delicious meads! Watch out for the espresso, it has a kick! Will definitely be back?“
“This is the best beer in the San Diego Area. Even if you're not into the D&D aesthetic, the wide range of delicious and creative beers will keep you coming back for more. As an added bonus, the owners Chris and Ryan are cool, down-to-earth guys. Can't recommend enough.“
“Finally got to visit this place. Knew of it and how great their beer was from Chris as we are in the same Queso Diego cheese club. Had an amazing stop on St. Patty's day. Lots of tasty beer and seltzers Edgar took very good care of us and was such character to chat with! Thanks for making our visit over the top amazing. I highly enjoyed the huckleberry seltzer and even got a crowler to go.“
“Our first time visiting this place. We went last Saturday night to watch the “Horseshoe Lucky Band”. This place was spacious and had several breweries offering a variety of drinks at reasonable prices, an urban winery, and burger joint. Enjoyed listening and dancing to country music.“
“Piston Pete's coffee is excellent. I recently tried their dark roast & found the flavor to be strong, but smooth. We purchased their Keurig pods for us and the beans for a friend who makes his coffee every morning. He actually sent some to his father up in San Francisco. We will try their medium roast next.“
“The staff was extremely friendly! Service was very very fast. One of the owners used to be a showgirl in Vegas and I love that. Also, the beer was phenomenal. Definitely try Kandies Michelada! It’s SO GOOOOOD! Also they’re dog friendly! Yay!!!“
“Delicious fresh brewed beer made with skill and with love. Charlie and his brother know their stuff and the rotating food truck lineup means you’ve always got something good to eat too! Nice open air setup and there’s outdoor tables too! A hidden gem check it out!“
“I was apprehensive about trying this place, I thought it was just all Mexican beer. However you do not need to put any kind of citrus in this beer to make it taste good. It's actually good beer. The interior vibe is very nice and I thoroughly enjoy the most wanted IPA. I'm a fan. I'll be here a couple times a week at least.“
“This is a cool local brewery that should be supported. I believe that a food truck is outside because they don't have a kitchen. They have great beer selections and even some slushy thingy mix. I got several to go beers cause they be that good.“
“Great space, has a pool table, foosball, and a couple of arcade games. Outside has plenty of heaters and a couple of bonfire pit areas to sit around. Booch is good, non alcoholic option was good, and pizza was good. A little pricey at $9 a glass and $26 per whole pizza.“
“We love the Oceanside brewery and now we love Pub980 in Vista. Their beer is always spot on, whatever you get. But this food was worth coming back for too. Good onion rings and the classic cheese was pretty tasty too. Also, we sat at bar and all the bartenders were all fantastic and nice. I felt like a regular and was our 1st time. I can’t wait to go back.“
“On my meadery tour, I was able to find this gem. Live music, mead and cider was such a win! I love the way their flights come with the numbers hanging by the glass that go along with the mead you choose, nice small touches that matter! A cool place to check out for sure.“
“Very cute little brewery! Excellent stout and my friend had The spa water (ginger ale mixed with the cucumber basil seltzer) and says it was phenomenal and the perfect combination of flavors and the one she had before that was the cucumber basil by itself they were both phenomenal. Cute atmosphere, super nice employees... Open Thursday thru Monday. Cute spot“
“OMG, the beer here is fantastic. It's different, fruity, almost like a juice bar, with a kick. I tried the 'Green Jello Smoothie Ale'. Totally delicious. One is not enough. I am prefer a blonde or stout ale and stay away from the fruity beers, but wow, this one was good. The service is very good, the server was more than happy to tell us about their beers. The place was much like you would expect at a place that was in its infancy, bare bones but not too bad. I have been to worse. It was wrestling night and there was a ring outside & some amateur wrestlers, fun stuff. When friends come into town, I'll take them there.“
“Super fun place with a lot of entertainment and options. There is a pool table and many couches. They also have all age events from time to time. I like that they have inside and outside areas. Also, I had emailed them the day of an event and heard back extremely quick. I was quite impressed. I took my teens (as I don't drink anyways) and it was also a safe environment for them....plus they had a great time learning more about skating, listening to bands, and even seeing a mosh pit.“
“Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Place was pretty packed along with many TVs on the wall. I ordered the reuben sandwich and it was excellent. We also ordered some nachos and it was loaded. I checked out some pizzas on the table next door and it looked delicious. Highly recommend visiting this location. Cheers“
“We had fun. Hard to get drinks because the crowd was too large due to the fact that the Totally 80's band was playing. Good band! Also glad they've added wine and champagne to their menu. 4 stars instead of five because of cover charge and slow bar service.“
“This places beers are so amazing I bought almost $200 with of beer to go. Great ambiance, guy serving the beers was very knowledgeable and over the top helpful. I hesitate giving this review because I want to keep getting some of these limited beers just for myself.“
“We love this place. All of the bartenders and the bar manager are wonderful and super nice to talk to. They love seeing our dog, Gibson. There’s great beer/tacos, friendly service, and a chill atmosphere to grab a brewski/food. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!“
“The food was quite good (poutine was our favorite), but the menu was a bit odd. It said that the dishes were meant to be shared. That would be fine, but when we tried to order that way, our waitress had to explain that half the dishes were entrees that were not meant to be shared (sandwiches, pasta, salmon, etc.). To make it more confusing, those dishes were mixed in with appetizer type dishes on the menu. A re-org of the menu would help out a lot“
“Typical warehouse brewery setup with two breweries on location: Mother Earth and Lost Abby. Locals vibe. Pretty large and varied selection of beers. Each brewery also have canned beers to go with food trucks on the weekend evenings offer a food option. Also directly across the street from Colab if you want to keep the food and drinks going after a visit here.“
“Response to Billy Bob, I’ve never seen a grown man cry over a processing fee. And brush up on your Vocabulary big man, in your nonsensical fit of anger you said it’s about the “ righteousness” , when I think you meant principle. Me and the guy standing behind you laughed in confusion for a good 5 minutes after you walked out. Thanks for that:)“
“Ahi poke nachos, chili lime sweet potato fries…great appetizers i always just get them as meals. The wings are wack so is the pub burger. Not great. Beer sausages r great. The food overall is a hit for me. So is the ambiance esp outside sitting by the fire, underneath heaters.“
“One of the best breweries in Escondido, it's small but has a great vibe and more importantly, great beers! Join the mug club and you get great pours for a good price. Some favorites are the tropic thunder and the fog of war, but everything is tasty!“
