“Elena and staff were so wonderful and welcoming. The drinks are amazing. Service is timely and faces are friendly. We love going to this local spot because we are always treated very well.”
“The best katsuya in LA. The staff is always amazing, especially the lovely Sawa. Her recommendations are always excellent, definitely go with one of her suggested off menu or special dishes. Always happy when I see she’s on shift!”
“The food portions are very generous! Everything is delicious, and the owner truly pays attention to detail. They noticed my husband was watching a soccer game and kindly turned on the TV next to us so he could keep watching. We’ve been coming here many times, and it never disappoints.”

“It was a very positive experience of communicating and ordering pizza at Pizza Twist! We came for my wife's birthday and were met by a mega professional employee named Armaan who advised us the most delicious option and served us at the highest level! I recommend it! Thank you, friend 🙌”

“My absolute new favorite restaurant! We were visiting family in LA from Chicago and they took us here, I ended up going three times in my one week visit. Cheese stuffed zaatar and the sojouk kachopuri were my favorite and the garlic chicken wrap was my husbands. Honestly everything we had was delicious and the kids kept asking for the pepperoni pizza and mini pizzas.”
“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.”

“Our waiter ( mario) best person I know. Service was beyond amazing, would recommend to all! Thank you Mr.’Mario for the best service ever!”
“We came to Paragon Bar and Grill for brunch right after my daughter’s graduation from CSUN. I found the place through a quick internet search and didn’t really know what to expect, but I was able to make a reservation online for a party of 13 with no issue. Our reservation was right when they opened at 11am on a Sunday, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves—just a couple of people at the bar. The space definitely leans more bar than grill, but it worked well for our group. Very low-key and relaxed. The menu had plenty of options, which was great since we had a few picky eaters. Everyone found something they liked, and the food was excellent across the board. The service stood out—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We didn’t order many drinks, but even so, I was surprised at how reasonable the bill was for such a large group. Only downside: the bathroom could use a refresh. It’s what you’d expect in a neighborhood bar—functional but not the highlight of the visit. Would absolutely go back. Great experience overall, and I really appreciate the staff for helping make the day special.”

“Halal House provides an exceptional dining experience, offering authentic flavors prepared with the highest standards of quality and freshness. The menu is diverse and thoughtfully crafted, catering to a wide range of tastes while maintaining the essence of traditional halal cuisine. Service is prompt, courteous, and attentive, ensuring every guest feels valued. The clean and welcoming atmosphere makes it an excellent choice for both family gatherings and casual dining. Halal House consistently delivers on taste, service, and overall experience.”
“K-Stop has an amazing selection, and their kimbap is seriously delicious. I’ve tried all the varieties; tuna, beef, spicy chicken, and vegetable and every single one has been great. They’re super filling too. I usually order three for two people, but honestly, one per person is plenty.
I always leave feeling satisfied and like I made a healthy choice. The staff is also friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I definitely recommend this spot if you’re craving tasty, fresh kimbap!”

“I love eating here! The service is always so awesome. I love that it's tucked away, and every time I've brought someone to eat here they don't expect that the restaurant is here. As for the food, it's DELICIOUS! My son is picky, and even he couldn't deny how good the food is. The ramen is amazing, it's so good and the portions are hearty. I usually end up getting a ramen combo with a chashu bowl. Now, I get to eat there AND have delicious leftovers. My family have tried other ramen places around and we keep coming back to Futaba because it's number one in our eyes. The flavor is always on point. Definitely recommend.”
“Who thought that classic American fare and Japanese cuisine could mesh so well??!!”

“The food was really good but the service needs improvement.Apparently there was only one person attending the booths in the bar area. It took quite a while to get the appetizer and as we began eating it , the main course was brought in which took away the enjoyment of the whole experience”
“Was open on New Year’s Day which was helpful… thanks to the people who kept it open!
The pizza was good. Less salty.
The wings were ok, not great.
The cauliflower was nice and tangy.
For 4 dishes, it cost us $90+ which seem pricy”
“Delicious! Amazing food! Great service! My fish fillet with rice, beans and salad was very tasty. The scrambled pupusas also taste great.Passion fruit water tastes exactly as it should, not too sweet and not too sour, just the necessary flavor to refresh and quench thirst.Portions are very large, cater to the ferocious appetite, well I think so.The place is not very big, but the service is very good. I would definitely go back!!! test passed.”
“Hidden gem doesn't even begin to describe To Die For Sushi. Nestled in a humble space in Northridge, this place is so unassuming you might walk right past it--but don't. Because once you walk in and sit at the bar, you'll realize you've discovered one of the best sushi experiences in all of Los Angeles.
Chef Danny is a true artist. We had front-row seats to his craft and were mesmerized watching him turn simple ingredients into edible masterpieces. Every slice, every plate--pure precision and passion.
We shared a bento box with mixed tempura, mixed sushi, and sashimi, and were blown away by the variety and balance. The Heart Attack (fried jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and topped with spicy tuna) was absolute fire--bold, indulgent, and perfectly crispy.
The Toro and salmon were melt-in-your-mouth perfection--fresh, buttery, and honestly some of the best I've had anywhere in L.A.
Our server, Samantha, was fantastic--warm, attentive, and clearly knew the menu well. She made great recommendations and timed everything perfectly.
This place is a sushi lover's dream, without the pretense or the inflated prices of trendy spots. The prices are really affordable and the quality top notch. I have paid a lot more for so much less elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar--watch the magic happen, savor every bite, and thank me later.

“Denny’s is a pleasant place to eat. I like the ambiance and it’s very clean. Great food and great server 🥰 My server is MARISSA. She let me seat with a friendly smile 😊 then a few minutes she came back and ask my order and drink 🍹 my ordered food 🥞🥗came out quickly, hot, delicious and satisfied 👍. Marissa walked by frequently to check on me and ask if I need something or order something. She always make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend MARISSA for a reward due to her skills, a hard working server, and a great asset to this DENNY’s restaurant. To sum up, I will come again and enjoy my food.”
“the best Hawaiian sandwich ever!!!! it's a very long drive but worth every time”
“My husband and I usually go during happy hour for their poke nachos and crispy brussel sprouts but have tried a few other things. Everything we've tried has been delicious but occasionally varies in preparation quality. We went on March 18th and ordered the poke nachos but they were not as good. The portion was a lot smaller than usual, so we decided to order another one. The second one came out great (I included a picture of the one prepared correctly) and that's when we realized they left off ingredients from the first one sent. They were still good but it was interesting that the two plates were that different. We didn't mention this to our waiter and I'm sure they would have been accommodating but maybe plates should be checked for quality before they're delivered?
Another note, we usually sit at the bar but we got a table the last time since the bar was packed. We were obviously fine with this but the cleanliness was extremely lacking. The menus had food on them and greasy fingerprints. I'm also not sure why the booths are never wiped down?? The tables are cleaned but the food just lands on the seats. Then you're wondering what else isn't cleaned, look around, and notice all the other spots that aren't wiped down. So gross.”
Takeout Restaurants
“My recommendation is to come here if you're looking to stock up on goodies for a party, especially during the summer. Things like Piñatas, Ice Cream, Block of Ice (for shaved ice and candy. For things like cups, straws, plates you could find better deals at other big stores. It's more about what you won't find in those places that you can find at Northridge Ice Cream.
During my visit I picked up a big block of ice for $10, big piñata for 20 and some candy.
Overall, this place serves local vendors with ice cream, snacks and anything in between. I visited this place out of curiosity, but ended up leaving with bags of imported candy. A good half of it you can find in big supermarkets like Vallarta, but not all. The variety is good and organization methods. The folks there were very friendly and helpful. It felt like they were happy to have visitors in, but maybe you're just a happy person if you sell ice cream all day.”
“When you are in California and you’re hungry for something fast delicious and affordable, In N Out is the place to be. If you are adventurous try your burger animal style, better yet, make your fries animal style. You can also request protein style or with ketchup & mustard. Make it a double double and add a shake or two… now you’re eating Cali style. Peace & love”

“Stopped here on the way to the airport and I was not disappointed! I had a ham, cheese, mushroom and onion omelette (not on the menu exactly) with country potatoes and it was delicious! The coffee was good, the food came fast and got and the server was great. I'll be eating here again when I'm back in town. But they are cash only, luckily I had some on hand . . .”

“OMG!! The food is so clean!! I highly recommend the Honey Walnut Shrimp and Green Beans. The Beef Chow Mein is Killer. They have Imported Japanese beer that is hard to get anywhere else. Saran was my server he was so personable with a great sense of humor. Great date spot!!! Plenty of open space with a large parking area.”

“These tacos hit the spot! We usually get asada, pastor, carnitas, and suedero but want to try the cueritos next time. Love that they use homemade tortillas! The guy taking orders even recognized us from the last time we were there and hooked it up with all the salsas and sides. Can’t wait to come back again soon! Thank you!”
“The description of Ike's to me made it sound like Fat Sal's and I was excited. Truth of the matter is Ike's holds its own, and it didn't disappoint. It has a great menu mixed with Meat and Veggie options. The Mrs. and I split and highly recommend the Captain Carl and the Meatless Mike (I concur "best vegan meatball in America", and Our 3 y/o gives the grilled cheese 👍👍. Our 9y/o swears it was the best grilled cheese she ever had.”
“My favorite place to get coffee. Have a few specialty drinks I toggle between that are my favorites. They have some unique and delicious muffins and a chocolate chip cookie to die for. I think the cookie is gluten-free....but you wouldn't know. Its so tasty. Was so happy to find this gem 7 years ago and have been going there ever since”

“I have been going to the Tortilla Inn since 1970 along with my closest friends to this day. We loved it then and we love it now. Betty is just delightful and we love Juan, too. Great food and atmosphere. Take your wife for a romantic dinner and request the corner booth. 💞”

“This has ALWAYS been thee place to get a Delicious Pizza, scrumptious Bread, and yummy Lasagna! After 60 years, it is still Simply the Best! Outstanding service provided by Ricci which made our dining experience wonderful! Everyone cares about the customer all the way to the top! Joan listens to the customers to make sure that the food is the BEST and it IS! You MUST go to Chi-Chi's when you're in Northridge!”
“Amazing food and service!! Omg this place is definitely one to visit and make part of your regular dining spots. Loved the Panang Curry with beef and the seafood pot of Tom Yum. The dimensions of flavor were honestly on another level. The service was also excellent …super super nice and helpful.”
“We've been to the Burger Lounge in Sherman Oaks but last night we were meeting friends who live in Calabasas so Northridge felt like a great mid-point option. There were four of us. I'm an extremely picky eater!! With that said, Bella (Front of House) took my order and even repeated it back twice which included her reading from what she punched into the computer. When my order came to the table it was 100% inaccurate. Kareem (Shift Leader) was very apologetic and wanted to immediately take care of it, which I appreciated. But, I wanted to take it a step further. I wasn't upset but curious as to how this occurred as I knew Bella had inputted the order into the computer correctly. She & Kareem were uncertain as to why it happened. Bella kept apologizing and I learned she was new. I told Bella it was not her fault but she insisted on taking ownership and Kareem wanted to do whatever it took to make me happy. My career involves running a company and training employees to take responsibility and therefore expeditiously turning the situation around. It's all about recovery and between how Burger Lounge trains their staff and the type of genuine human beings that work there....Burger Lounge succeeds at elevating the dining experience! BTW, the food was fabulous and if you're going to add sugar to it, their shakes are FUNomenal. Kareem & Bella are definitely above & beyond employees and the others working there were all happy & helpful. This is the gold standard and a recipe that should be non- negotiable for any business. It was a gift that the error occurred as it showed us what an outstanding establishment Burger Lounge is with outstanding employees. Huge thank you to Kareem & Bella. Thank you for all that you are and all that you do. You two, your team & Burger Lounge have the secret sauce!”
“The best Korean stews in the entire Valley. I know there's musse and few other places sell similar foods, but as a Korean who knows all the best places for this kind of food, the traditional soups are the best here in this area.
If you want to have a decent experience with sulungtang (beef bone stew), yukgaejang (spicy beef stew with noodles), samgyetang (chicken with herbs and ginseng), hangover stew, without going to specialty places in koreatown this is your best bet.”
“Nice clean store and food was delicious. The girl at the front was so friendly and answered me questions about the menu. I ended up getting the lasagna garlic bread salad combo and it was so good and for less than $15! I ate the garlic bread first cuz it was so good that's why it's not in the picture LOL.”
“Best micheladas in town hands down! They make it the traditional way- not the fill you up with clamato and chamoy kind- the refreshing pairs with a nice meal kind. They're menudo is also amazing. They dont drown it in hominy and load it with meat. Its so good they tend to sell out by noon! Many times sooner. The service is personal and welcoming. Cant recommend this place enough :-)”

“I’ve been eating subs from My Hero since 1972! THE best subs I’ve eaten, ever. Moved through the years, and always went to My Hero’s when within 5 hours by car to where I was staying! The high quality of their food has never waivered! The buns are soft, yet chewy! The tomato salad in each sandwich is always fresh! Plus they give a generous portion of the protein! My favorite has always been pastrami! Lean and tasty, everytime! The staff is welcoming and genuinely happy you are there! I’ll be going in a week as I pass through the area! Will be the highlight of my trip! Thanks My Hero for keeping the memories alive and never disappointing!”

“Very great customer service compared to the first time I was there I felt like the cash register at the drive-thru was a bit rude and this time a young hispanic male maybe about 18 19 years old was just very helpful polite and respectful when taking my order I will definitely becoming again and more often now thanks to this experience that I've had”
“Came mid afternoon for a reserved table of 11. Weren't ready. Finally found reservation, then placed in path of cold air coming from front door. Now, place wasn't busy. However service was slow. Kept looking for waiter. Missed simple order like water. Salad was very good, other meals were good”
“Had a reservation for a table of 18, the managers accommodated us very well. And our two waiters were awesome! They were attentive, fast and always had a good attitude. The food speaks for itself!! Very tasty. We definitely got our butts kicked and walked out with a food coma. Great birthday dinner for my mom. Definitely recommend for a groups or even a couple.”

“I really love this local café, but the WiFi can be pretty inconsistent and goes in and out, which makes it tough if you’re coming here to work or study. Reliable, strong WiFi is honestly one of the most important things for a place like this, especially since so many people bring their laptops.
I’d kindly suggest looking into upgrading the WiFi, moving the router, or even switching providers. It would make a huge difference and elevate the experience even more.
Other than that, I genuinely love this place. It does get pretty busy, but I appreciate that you can order a tea and get refills with more hot water. It’s a nice touch. I also really like their egg salad sandwich.
Overall, great spot with a lot to love, especially bcus it’s close to home, and even better if the WiFi gets improved.”
“Hands down one of the BEST dessert spots in LA. Korner K’nafeh is on another level. The knafeh is absolute perfection: golden and crispy, warm and gooey on the inside, and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. You can literally taste the freshness in every bite.
The Dubai chocolate bar is a MUST. Rich, indulgent, and completely addictive, it’s worth the trip all by itself.
Service is fast and friendly, the spot is clean and inviting, and parking is easy, which makes it even better. If you love desserts, this place is non-negotiable. I’ll be back again and again 🔥🍰”
“This restaurant is in a nice little plaza, and the food here was top tier!! The kind people at the counter gave beyond amazing customer service, anticipating our needs throughout the entire visit. I would recommend the marinated fried chicken, it was so good and definitely my favorite food from this place!!”
“I had gotten my drink delivered via Doordash (not sponsored by them). It still had the slush form upon arrival and nothing was tampered nor watery. It had a good amount of sweetness, even though I had ordered it with 75% sweetness. The drink was called Dragon Slayer and may order this again in the near future.”
“Never had a Wagyu cheesesteak before and it was absolutely delicious!!! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The portions are generous, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. On top of that, the service was super friendly. Definitely one of my new go-to spots--I'll be coming back again and again!”
“I work across the street and was working a later night and they were a convenient option to have! They make their own tortillas which is a plus. I ordered an Al pastor burrito which was a very good size and packed with meat. I found the Al pastor to be a little too salty. It was still very good but definitely needed salsa to cut up the saltiness and oiliness. Overall worth a try if you’re in the area and want some Mexican food. I think their tacos are more delicious!”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Tried Neo Sushi for AYCE and it did not disappoint. They offer three AYCE options: Lunch Special at $28.99, Late Night at $30.99, and Kids at $19.99. For adults, you can choose between the Regular Menu ($39.99) or the Premium Menu ($47.99).
The appetizer selection is solid with options like edamame, gyoza, onion rings, and shrimp tempura. For soup and salad, there are plenty of choices — we kept it classic with miso soup and cucumber salad, both fresh and well done.
Where they really shine is the sushi. We went heavy on the nigiri, and our favorites were the yuzu jalapeño yellowtail, escolar, and albacore. They also have all the classic rolls you’d expect, including spicy tuna, California rolls, avocado rolls, and yellowtail rolls.
We came right when they opened at 12:00 PM (despite Google listing a different time), and service was on point. The staff is young, vibrant, and very friendly. Our server Alex was top tier and made sure our plates kept coming until we were completely full.
I’d recommend this spot especially for groups under 5 — larger parties get an 18% gratuity added. Overall, great value, great service, and great sushi. I’ll definitely be back.”
