“Great place, very consistent with the quality of fish. Please go check out Jesus with his recommendations of substituting certain fishes in certain rolls. This place craps on the Katsu-Ya off topanga. Came here for my birthday and I left like a happy man. Shoutout Jesus!!! Only complaint is the parking in the plaza but what can you do 🤭”

“Our waiter ( mario) best person I know. Service was beyond amazing, would recommend to all! Thank you Mr.’Mario for the best service ever!”
“My husband and I usually go during happy hour for their poke nachos and crispy brussel sprouts but have tried a few other things. Everything we've tried has been delicious but occasionally varies in preparation quality. We went on March 18th and ordered the poke nachos but they were not as good. The portion was a lot smaller than usual, so we decided to order another one. The second one came out great (I included a picture of the one prepared correctly) and that's when we realized they left off ingredients from the first one sent. They were still good but it was interesting that the two plates were that different. We didn't mention this to our waiter and I'm sure they would have been accommodating but maybe plates should be checked for quality before they're delivered?
Another note, we usually sit at the bar but we got a table the last time since the bar was packed. We were obviously fine with this but the cleanliness was extremely lacking. The menus had food on them and greasy fingerprints. I'm also not sure why the booths are never wiped down?? The tables are cleaned but the food just lands on the seats. Then you're wondering what else isn't cleaned, look around, and notice all the other spots that aren't wiped down. So gross.”

“My absolute new favorite restaurant! We were visiting family in LA from Chicago and they took us here, I ended up going three times in my one week visit. Cheese stuffed zaatar and the sojouk kachopuri were my favorite and the garlic chicken wrap was my husbands. Honestly everything we had was delicious and the kids kept asking for the pepperoni pizza and mini pizzas.”
“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.”
“Lemon Zest consistently delivers delicious food with the convenience of easy app ordering. Their new location on Reseda is beautifully designed, creating a great dining experience. The portions are generous, offering excellent value for the price. My two kids love the beef lule kebab plate—it’s big enough for them to share, with leftovers to spare. As someone who eats mostly vegan, I really appreciate the variety of plant-based options. I’ve tried the falafel plate, falafel wrap, veggie wrap, and several appetizers—all have been flavorful and satisfying. Highly recommend!”

“This place is the best option if you want to enjoy top quality burgers, especially their smash burgers are the best not just the burgers they make rice bowls with so much quantity and the food is always fresh and quality is so consistent !!
And the people here are always following the hygiene standards when making a bowl for you and atmosphere is always tidy and top notch
I highly recommend this place !!!”
“Friendly staff and servers. Good selection. Good meat . They seated us right away . Good parking. First time and if I am in the area again, will definitely eat here again.”
“Who thought that classic American fare and Japanese cuisine could mesh so well??!!”

“Absolutely THE BEST RAMEN!!!! I LOVE THE SPICY TONKASU. YUMMY. I have tried so many ramen places and this is the only one that satisfies. The staff is amazing, too. They even remember what every member of my family usually orders. Personalized, kind and attentive service.”
“Stopped here on the way to the airport and I was not disappointed! I had a ham, cheese, mushroom and onion omelette (not on the menu exactly) with country potatoes and it was delicious! The coffee was good, the food came fast and got and the server was great. I'll be eating here again when I'm back in town. But they are cash only, luckily I had some on hand . . .”
“This has been my family’s go to restaurant for decades. Every time I go here, I am hit with nostalgia. Most birthdays and special occasions were spent here. Since I live out of state now, I always have to stop at chi chi's whenever I visit California. The plain cheese pizza is the best pizza hands down. I’ll never find another pizza like it. Also the cold cut sandwiches are delicious 🤤 I wish chi chis would extend into Oregon 🥲 also, please NEVER go out of business or I would be so devastated lol”
“I got the kuromayu and it was delicious. Tasted like getting a hug. My husband especially loved their chashu.
The popcorn shrimp was way less bready than other places’.
Our waiter AJ was friendly and attentive.
Will definitely be coming back and trying their other ramen options.”
“These tacos hit the spot! We usually get asada, pastor, carnitas, and suedero but want to try the cueritos next time. Love that they use homemade tortillas! The guy taking orders even recognized us from the last time we were there and hooked it up with all the salsas and sides. Can’t wait to come back again soon! Thank you!”
“My sister lives here, I'm visiting here from Kentucky. Always a dinner to order one night while I'm visiting. So delicious! Highly recommended and they deliver!”

“Leo's Superfood Cafe is definitely the best way to me! This fully gluten free + fully vegan spot is located in more so in Lake Balboa, California, but actually resides in the city of Northridge, Los Angeles, California in a small plaza lot near the Van Nuys Airport. It's off the intersection of Roscoe Blvd/Louise Avenue in a small plaza with parking. Their baked good are incredible with a big selection of flavors. While their Daring Pot Pie is a top favorite. I can't say anything bad about their pizzas, wraps, quesadillas, sandwiches, shakes, teas, espresso, plates, bowls and other beverages. I do have to avoid their seed based bread do to my sunflower seed allergy, but everything is clearly labeled and the are very allergen cautious. Love their Leo's Superfood Breakfast Burrito, "Meat" Lovers Pizza, Hot Hash Keto Bowl and Crunchwrap. Definitely my top recommend aside from the Pot Pie and desserts. Everything is made with care. The service is excellent and the absolutely love and appreciate their staff as well as all us customers.”
“If you're looking for a Chinese dive,, this is it. Excellent food and above and beyond beyond service.
Most of the other patrons were Asian. All of the staff were. All of the good was good to great.
They handled our big party (9) without a hitch and had a completely reasonable bill since we also took home 4 or so meals.”
“Food was decent and the value was excellent. I have noticed on the last few visits that they shrunk their garden salad side item. The plate is barely covered. Also, the women's restroom was awful! Dirty, with a stopped up sink, and no one had been in to check it or clean. Not appetizing!”
“Was open on New Year’s Day which was helpful… thanks to the people who kept it open!
The pizza was good. Less salty.
The wings were ok, not great.
The cauliflower was nice and tangy.
For 4 dishes, it cost us $90+ which seem pricy”
“Hidden gem doesn't even begin to describe To Die For Sushi. Nestled in a humble space in Northridge, this place is so unassuming you might walk right past it--but don't. Because once you walk in and sit at the bar, you'll realize you've discovered one of the best sushi experiences in all of Los Angeles.
Chef Danny is a true artist. We had front-row seats to his craft and were mesmerized watching him turn simple ingredients into edible masterpieces. Every slice, every plate--pure precision and passion.
We shared a bento box with mixed tempura, mixed sushi, and sashimi, and were blown away by the variety and balance. The Heart Attack (fried jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and topped with spicy tuna) was absolute fire--bold, indulgent, and perfectly crispy.
The Toro and salmon were melt-in-your-mouth perfection--fresh, buttery, and honestly some of the best I've had anywhere in L.A.
Our server, Samantha, was fantastic--warm, attentive, and clearly knew the menu well. She made great recommendations and timed everything perfectly.
This place is a sushi lover's dream, without the pretense or the inflated prices of trendy spots. The prices are really affordable and the quality top notch. I have paid a lot more for so much less elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar--watch the magic happen, savor every bite, and thank me later.

“This spot is amazing and I have never had a bad experience here. Servers are all nice and attentive and the sushi is top tier. They do not stuff you with rice and add a tiny piece of protein on top like other spots do. You really get great rice to protein ratios here.
All the rolls and shareables are phenomenal. It gets busy and there is a wait to be seated, but it's worth it, and to me that is a great sign. Busy is good for restaurants.
Sometimes the servers do get overwhelmed and forget a roll you ordered, but as soon as you bring it to their attention it's a very quick fix.
Highly recommend eating here!”
“We came to Paragon Bar and Grill for brunch right after my daughter’s graduation from CSUN. I found the place through a quick internet search and didn’t really know what to expect, but I was able to make a reservation online for a party of 13 with no issue. Our reservation was right when they opened at 11am on a Sunday, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves—just a couple of people at the bar. The space definitely leans more bar than grill, but it worked well for our group. Very low-key and relaxed. The menu had plenty of options, which was great since we had a few picky eaters. Everyone found something they liked, and the food was excellent across the board. The service stood out—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We didn’t order many drinks, but even so, I was surprised at how reasonable the bill was for such a large group. Only downside: the bathroom could use a refresh. It’s what you’d expect in a neighborhood bar—functional but not the highlight of the visit. Would absolutely go back. Great experience overall, and I really appreciate the staff for helping make the day special.”

“Denny’s is a pleasant place to eat. I like the ambiance and it’s very clean. Great food and great server 🥰 My server is MARISSA. She let me seat with a friendly smile 😊 then a few minutes she came back and ask my order and drink 🍹 my ordered food 🥞🥗came out quickly, hot, delicious and satisfied 👍. Marissa walked by frequently to check on me and ask if I need something or order something. She always make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend MARISSA for a reward due to her skills, a hard working server, and a great asset to this DENNY’s restaurant. To sum up, I will come again and enjoy my food.”
“Night crew is always extremely polite and friendly. Specially the guy who takes the order and the lady who hands the food! We love interacting with them! I wish I knew their names, they always greet us in a good mood no matter the day! Writing this review because they deserve it!”
“Very good food options. Mee Dee Thai Chicken and Maxwell Chicken Rice are delicious! Will have to try Kotsu Ramen and Akafuji Sushi next time.”
“This was our first time at this location. They didn’t have some menu items that we have seen at other locations.
It’s a nice big open place with plenty of seating. Be aware of the tables where the air blasts down on it. They had plenty of staff. Good customer service.
The best thing was the pork dumplings, which did come hot! Tastes delicious with soup inside.
The fungus salad was a little too vinegar tasting. The seaweed salad was a good size. Tastes crisp and yummy!
Chongqing Crispy Chicken was very spicy, even at medium heat!! Eat with rice…the perfect combo!!”

“K-Stop knocks it out of the park, every time. From the friendly welcome to the delicious food, this is a must visit place. I particularly am obsessed with their Bulgogi Kimbap and Iced Coffees. It’s the perfect solution for catering a business lunch or a quick and healthy grab and go to fuel the rest of the day. I HIGHLY recommend!”
“I recently tried the Shahi Paneer Pizza at Pizza Twist, and it was delicious! The creamy and rich flavors of the Shahi Paneer worked perfectly on a crispy crust. Prabhjot was really helpful in choosing my order, making the experience even better. I highly recommend it!”
“The description of Ike's to me made it sound like Fat Sal's and I was excited. Truth of the matter is Ike's holds its own, and it didn't disappoint. It has a great menu mixed with Meat and Veggie options. The Mrs. and I split and highly recommend the Captain Carl and the Meatless Mike (I concur "best vegan meatball in America", and Our 3 y/o gives the grilled cheese 👍👍. Our 9y/o swears it was the best grilled cheese she ever had.”
“When you are in California and you’re hungry for something fast delicious and affordable, In N Out is the place to be. If you are adventurous try your burger animal style, better yet, make your fries animal style. You can also request protein style or with ketchup & mustard. Make it a double double and add a shake or two… now you’re eating Cali style. Peace & love”
“This chain is amazing! Food is always super fresh and serving is good size there are a lot of options especially great for lunch those who want to eat light or be full. If you are vegan or pescatarian this place is great for you too We have options for everybody.”
“Today is August 17, 2022, I came back because I had to try the steak bowl with all veggies and I had a can of BUBLY grapefruit flavored. Aleksandra, Sadee, Corrina and The rest of the staff are a lot of fun we spent a lot of time asking them about which pole I should try. I finally settled on the ribeye steak bowl with no rice… I had to have the garlic Serano sauce which Karina made clear was her favorite and turned out to be mine too but I had to add a couple packets of hot sauce the grapefruit drink I was enjoying was perfect with the spicy flavor and the meat was cooked to perfection! the store is kept very clean! Waba Wednesday means two chicken bowls for $12.99!”
“The staff/owner(?) were all so friendly! They humored me being really shy while using Vietnamese to order. Got the pork belly banh mi, grilled pork banh mi, potstickers, and chicken wings. Chicken wings didn't have a ton of flavor, but that's what the sweet fish sauce (nuoc mam ngot) was for. The pork belly banh mi was the star! The bread was so fresh and crunchy. Staff was super attentive and came to refill water whenever our cups were even half empty. Will definitely be coming back again to try the other dishes! It's in my blood as a Viet person - Viet recognizes Viet!”
“It was about time I wrote a review of this amazing hidden gem! We have been coming here for years, and I cannot explain how amazing everything about this place is. We have tried nearly every boba flavor on the menu & not one has disappointed til today! We have even tried flavors we thought we would not like and we ended up loving. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wish there was more than 5 stars to rate because this business definitely deserves it. Customer service, quality food and drinks, amazing people! Chicken snacks are sooo delicious if you are ever near or local and have not given this place a try. Even if you aren’t local the drive is definitely worth it 💯💕 Super nice and amazing human beings at this shop that definitely serve the best Boba in the valley! I always make the drive because this is the only place we buy our delicious boba drinks 🙏🏻♥️
Pictures below include a delicious pineapple coconut smoothie w/ lychee and boba.
A grapefruit smoothie w/ boba & a strawberry smoothie! 🥰🙏🏻 & cannot forget to order the chicken snack!”

“Chutamas Thai has been our weekly Thai fix for months. My husband gets his usual Crying Tiger and Yellow Curry with chicken ( no spice ) and I get Papaya salad ( extra spicy ) and a “new dish” to try. Just recently, my family including my husband and I had dinner there. It was an opportunity to order new dishes, and a few of our favorites. Not one bad dish. Everything was delicious. The service was attentive and quick. Chullisa ( hopefully spelled correctly ◡̈ ) is always so kind, in person and on the phone. I tell her that Chutamas has made my husband a Thai Food convert. I’ve tried Thai food with him in the past, and he never asked to have it again. But after Chutamas, he looks forward to our weekly Thai fix! What a hidden gem .. ◡̈”
“My recommendation is to come here if you're looking to stock up on goodies for a party, especially during the summer. Things like Piñatas, Ice Cream, Block of Ice (for shaved ice and candy. For things like cups, straws, plates you could find better deals at other big stores. It's more about what you won't find in those places that you can find at Northridge Ice Cream.
During my visit I picked up a big block of ice for $10, big piñata for 20 and some candy.
Overall, this place serves local vendors with ice cream, snacks and anything in between. I visited this place out of curiosity, but ended up leaving with bags of imported candy. A good half of it you can find in big supermarkets like Vallarta, but not all. The variety is good and organization methods. The folks there were very friendly and helpful. It felt like they were happy to have visitors in, but maybe you're just a happy person if you sell ice cream all day.”
“My favorite place to get coffee. Have a few specialty drinks I toggle between that are my favorites. They have some unique and delicious muffins and a chocolate chip cookie to die for. I think the cookie is gluten-free....but you wouldn't know. Its so tasty. Was so happy to find this gem 7 years ago and have been going there ever since”
“I've been here twice now and asked both times for no sugar in my beverages and they've been very nice and accommodating. I'm insulin resistant/Pre-diabetic and avoid sugar/added sugars. The young lady who works there was nice enough to inform me of the sugars in the matcha and suggested something else that was similar and sub zero sugar vanilla. It was very kind of her to do that for me. 😊💖”
“I have been going to the Tortilla Inn since 1970 along with my closest friends to this day. We loved it then and we love it now. Betty is just delightful and we love Juan, too. Great food and atmosphere. Take your wife for a romantic dinner and request the corner booth. 💞”
“A place of wonder, magic, and love. This is a Gastropub like no ordinary dove.
It flys in the sky like a bald eagle,
Protecting and serving us like a charged up beagle.
The Days here are always fun,
Like a g-string party in the sun 🌞
So come to the place that is a staple in our society, but don't depend on your sobriety.
Games and hollering with yelling at your fantasy team to make you look ballerina.
So sit back and enjoy the all 🇺🇸 American pub.
Taps 4 life.”

“I’ve been eating subs from My Hero since 1972! THE best subs I’ve eaten, ever. Moved through the years, and always went to My Hero’s when within 5 hours by car to where I was staying! The high quality of their food has never waivered! The buns are soft, yet chewy! The tomato salad in each sandwich is always fresh! Plus they give a generous portion of the protein! My favorite has always been pastrami! Lean and tasty, everytime! The staff is welcoming and genuinely happy you are there! I’ll be going in a week as I pass through the area! Will be the highlight of my trip! Thanks My Hero for keeping the memories alive and never disappointing!”

“Alisha La Montee is one of the hardest-working people at Cane’s, and even though she’s usually behind the scenes in the kitchen, her impact is front and center every time. Whether she’s making sure every box is put together perfectly or keeping things moving during a crazy rush, she handles it all with focus, speed, and consistency. You might not always see her when you pull up, but trust me—she’s the reason your order is hot, fresh, and right every single time.
There have been times I’ve seen her helping out in the drive-thru, and even then she keeps that same energy. Calm under pressure, quick with solutions, and just overall solid. She’s the kind of team player every store wishes they had—someone who steps in wherever needed, takes pride in the little things, and never cuts corners. You can tell she holds herself to a high standard, and it makes a difference.
Cane’s is lucky to have her on the team. People might not always realize who’s working hard in the back to make it all run smoothly, but Alisha deserves the recognition. She’s one of those rare people who keeps things steady behind the scenes and makes everyone else look good in the process.”
“I’ve been going to el Torito to since I was young because my mom loves the restaurant ! And so do I. The food is consistently good and I’ve tried many different dishes. This time I got the burrito especial which was delicious! The tortilla had an enchilada sauce on it that was very flavorful and good. I very much enjoyed it! But portion also so I ended up taking half home. My aunt got the chicken and sour cream enchiladas and my mom got the sizzling enchiladas. They both thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The sizzling enchiladas were surprisingly light but flavorful and my mom was able to eat both of hers.”
“Great food, and so much of it!! From the Cesar salad to the steak and grilled shrimp plus the enormous loaded baked potato, can I get a yum yum Amen!!!?! Every single employee was amazing, professional and efficient. I will definitely recommend Longhorn Steakhouse, and I will certainly be going back!!”

“Lemon Zest consistently delivers delicious food with the convenience of easy app ordering. Their new location on Reseda is beautifully designed, creating a great dining experience.
