“My absolute new favorite restaurant! We were visiting family in LA from Chicago and they took us here, I ended up going three times in my one week visit. Cheese stuffed zaatar and the sojouk kachopuri were my favorite and the garlic chicken wrap was my husbands. Honestly everything we had was delicious and the kids kept asking for the pepperoni pizza and mini pizzas.”

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.”

“Lemon Zest consistently delivers delicious food with the convenience of easy app ordering. Their new location on Reseda is beautifully designed, creating a great dining experience. The portions are generous, offering excellent value for the price. My two kids love the beef lule kebab plate—it’s big enough for them to share, with leftovers to spare. As someone who eats mostly vegan, I really appreciate the variety of plant-based options. I’ve tried the falafel plate, falafel wrap, veggie wrap, and several appetizers—all have been flavorful and satisfying. Highly recommend!”

“My husband and I usually go during happy hour for their poke nachos and crispy brussel sprouts but have tried a few other things. Everything we've tried has been delicious but occasionally varies in preparation quality. We went on March 18th and ordered the poke nachos but they were not as good. The portion was a lot smaller than usual, so we decided to order another one. The second one came out great (I included a picture of the one prepared correctly) and that's when we realized they left off ingredients from the first one sent. They were still good but it was interesting that the two plates were that different. We didn't mention this to our waiter and I'm sure they would have been accommodating but maybe plates should be checked for quality before they're delivered?

Another note, we usually sit at the bar but we got a table the last time since the bar was packed. We were obviously fine with this but the cleanliness was extremely lacking. The menus had food on them and greasy fingerprints. I'm also not sure why the booths are never wiped down?? The tables are cleaned but the food just lands on the seats. Then you're wondering what else isn't cleaned, look around, and notice all the other spots that aren't wiped down. So gross.”

“I had the opportunity to visit a Vietnamese Restaurant that left a deep impression with its cozy space, imbued with Vietnamese culture, from lanterns to tables and chairs, and extremely beautiful paintings and natural scenery. course. The food here is truly excellent, especially the chicken pho bowl, spring rolls, beef noodle soup, beef noodle soup... The service staff is enthusiastic and attentive, always willing to advise on dishes. Reasonable price, consistent with quality. This is definitely the ideal place to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine.”

Since I live out of state now, I always have to stop at chi chi's whenever I visit California. The plain cheese pizza is the best pizza hands down. I’ll never find another pizza like it. Also the cold cut sandwiches are delicious 🤤 I wish chi chis would extend into Oregon 🥲 also, please NEVER go out of business or I would be so devastated lol”

“Today is August 17, 2022, I came back because I had to try the steak bowl with all veggies and I had a can of BUBLY grapefruit flavored. Aleksandra, Sadee, Corrina and The rest of the staff are a lot of fun we spent a lot of time asking them about which pole I should try. I finally settled on the ribeye steak bowl with no rice… I had to have the garlic Serano sauce which Karina made clear was her favorite and turned out to be mine too but I had to add a couple packets of hot sauce the grapefruit drink I was enjoying was perfect with the spicy flavor and the meat was cooked to perfection! the store is kept very clean! Waba Wednesday means two chicken bowls for $12.99!”

“I recently stopped by Qwench Place and tried their PB Banana Brew, and I was thoroughly impressed! The blend was creamy and packed with flavor, a perfect balance of peanut butter and banana. It had a smooth texture with just the right amount of sweetness, making it both a satisfying and energizing treat. The drink wasn’t too heavy, making it ideal as a quick pick-me-up or a post-workout refreshment. The staff was friendly and quick, and the overall atmosphere of the shop was bright and welcoming.

“My husband and I come here often because food is good considering it's all you can eat. Food comes out fairly quickly too even on busy nights.
The only issue I had was they don't have a waiting space, which is fine on a regular day. However, it was really hot one day (105° at 5pm), and the host told us she hasnt texted us to come in yet and we can't wait inside (basically telling us to wait outside). It was a hot day and we had a toddler with us. We came back 25 mins after being quoted a wait of 20 to 30 mins. If it wasnt for a birthday we were celebrating, we would have left.”

“I've been here twice now and asked both times for no sugar in my beverages and they've been very nice and accommodating. I'm insulin resistant/Pre-diabetic and avoid sugar/added sugars. The young lady who works there was nice enough to inform me of the sugars in the matcha and suggested something else that was similar and sub zero sugar vanilla. It was very kind of her to do that for me. 😊💖”

“GREAT chicken. Very crispy and not too heavy like some others out there. Me and my wife ordered 2 small 8 piece bone-in wings (Original Golden flavor), fries and coleslaw. The fries were some of the best I’ve had. Coleslaw was fresh & not too sweet.

My only two gripes with the food are: 1.the price) A little on the expensive end, as back home (Palmdale) we could get an eight piece combo with fries and a drink for the same price as just an 8 piece wings here alone (Korean place too). All good though, inflation hits everyone. Means we just will come here once in a while. And 2) you can only choose one marinade per wing set. Every wing spot I’ve been to allows you to do 1/2 one flavor and 1/2 another. Pretty standard practice, so I thought that was a little disappointing.

One more thing I should mention about the service: I wish the lady (she was Asian) would have suggested me and my wife share a medium (16 piece). It is cheaper to go that route if you both want the same flavor ($30.99) versus two smalls ($33.98). Would have saved us some money and been a nice gesture, but it’s hard to expect that when someone is running a business. Didn’t realize until after the fact.

Anyways, I’d recommend giving them a shot. Just note the things mentioned above before going, if they matter to you.”

“My recommendation is to come here if you're looking to stock up on goodies for a party, especially during the summer. Things like Piñatas, Ice Cream, Block of Ice (for shaved ice and candy. For things like cups, straws, plates you could find better deals at other big stores. It's more about what you won't find in those places that you can find at Northridge Ice Cream.

During my visit I picked up a big block of ice for $10, big piñata for 20 and some candy.

Overall, this place serves local vendors with ice cream, snacks and anything in between. I visited this place out of curiosity, but ended up leaving with bags of imported candy. A good half of it you can find in big supermarkets like Vallarta, but not all. The variety is good and organization methods. The folks there were very friendly and helpful. It felt like they were happy to have visitors in, but maybe you're just a happy person if you sell ice cream all day.”

“I’ve been eating subs from My Hero since 1972! THE best subs I’ve eaten, ever. Moved through the years, and always went to My Hero’s when within 5 hours by car to where I was staying! The high quality of their food has never waivered! The buns are soft, yet chewy! The tomato salad in each sandwich is always fresh! Plus they give a generous portion of the protein! My favorite has always been pastrami! Lean and tasty, everytime! The staff is welcoming and genuinely happy you are there! I’ll be going in a week as I pass through the area! Will be the highlight of my trip! Thanks My Hero for keeping the memories alive and never disappointing!”

“We decided to do K BBQ for Thanksgiving this year and it was the perfect option! I had never been and had no clue what to expect. The wait staff at Gen were all friendly, interactive and thorough explaining what we going to experience. K BBQ was a perfect substitute for our traditional Thanksgiving! We were so happy with our shared experience, cooking our own food and sharing. We took our time and def got our fill! We also drank these giant fishbowl drinks that delivered a perfect buzz and paired great with the savory foods! Highly recommend this location!

“I’ve been going to el Torito to since I was young because my mom loves the restaurant ! And so do I. The food is consistently good and I’ve tried many different dishes. This time I got the burrito especial which was delicious! The tortilla had an enchilada sauce on it that was very flavorful and good. I very much enjoyed it! But portion also so I ended up taking half home. My aunt got the chicken and sour cream enchiladas and my mom got the sizzling enchiladas. They both thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The sizzling enchiladas were surprisingly light but flavorful and my mom was able to eat both of hers.”
