“Wow! this is a great place to eat. Its' menu is packed with flavorful dishes. Don't sleep on the fish and chips. It is anything but basic. Beso is also a great place for outdoor dinning. The restaurant has frequently won the Taste of Marin Award. After you eat there you will see why. Oh, I also hear that they have a good wine selection. When you go don't forget to say hello to the owner. Yes it is one of those places where you are welcomed as if it is someone's home to sit down and sit a spell to visit for awhile.“
“My son and I were able to go out yesterday for lunch at LA Carreras. My first thought when we walked in was, that it was really clean and the aroma was so inviting. The young lady that helped us was very nice, she gave us time to order and set us up with everything we needed for our upcoming meal. My son had a Super Steak Burrito he said it was very good. I had a chicken tostada, so delicious, the meat was tender and juicy I had them add some avacado and sour cream.. My two steak tacos also very good, the steak was flavorful and not fatty, I added avacado to them...I also enjoyed a Cantaloupe Fresca, I love it it's my favorite. Thankyou LA Carrera for a good lunch with fantastic service, and a clean restaurant..We Appreciste You!“
“Will definitely come back! I chose just closest place on google maps and it was Bistro 201. Perfect service, very friendly and caring staff. I tried Chicha Morada - reminded me about Spanish Sangria - super tasty and refreshing. And for the meal i had Pollada with chicken and potatoes. Yummy! Whenever I'll be in Petaluma I'll stop to eat there again!“
“Indian food made and offered with love. Some of the best indian food I've had in any restaurant in the country, made with true love. Chef has decades of global experience and it showed in the flavors and the cooking. We had paneer tikka, daal makhani and ordered two thalis and loved the ability to choose our lentils and curry of choice. The daal makhani was heavenly. The paneer was mind blowing. The breads were soft, freshly made and very filling. We had kheer and rasmalai for dessert and everything was just perfect. Strongly recommend. Service was excellent.“
“The food here is excellent and worth going for. We had the scallop appetizer, which was quite pricey, but heavenly, and the raw oysters recommended by our server, also heavenly. We also chose a delicious greens salad, and for our entrees we had the clams and mussels which were fresh and delicious, the cioppino, and the fettucine with clams. For dessert, we had one of the best creme brulees we have ever had. So the food was excellent and worth the price. It took us a while to get our drinks, although we arrived at the end of Happy Hour and that could be why. The oysters were served before the drinks. That shouldn't happen. The atmosphere was okay - very loud, so that we could barely hear one another, and we sat on the Kentucky Street side and cars were pulling into parking spots next to the restaurant and shining into our eyes. You'd think they could put something in the windows to handle that. As for the service, it was not great for a pricey restaurant. Our server warmed up to us over time, but the other person who was circulating (maybe one of the owners?) was not friendly at all. Not what you'd expect. Also, a $25 deposit to make a reservation? Really? Overall, we enjoyed our food but will probably not go back. Too loud, and just not worth the hassle.“
“Very authentic, great food and pho, friendly service! I spent 1 month travelling in Vietnam a few years ago and this food is awesome! I had the pho tai and spring rolls, both excellent! The family vibe is really cool too, I enjoyed watching the TV with grandma, seriously!“
“Great happy hour! Nice food bites and affordable prices. Always friendly service. Critique is for the odd layout for host stand. When busy, not an easy place to stand and wait for a table. Sort of first come first serve when it comes to bar area, which led to others hovering over tables and jumping ahead to snag a table when others were waiting patiently for their turn. Besides that and it being a bit noisy, still is one of our favorite spots to visit whenever we're in Petaluma.“
“Time and time again…. Over several years… we have always appreciated the amazing servers and incredible food. The specials are just that…. Special …. And should always be considered. This is our “go to” restaurant for a night out. Thank youKid-friendliness: People friendly….. which is even better than kid friendly“
“Good food, but not as good as I remember. Everything was well made, but I wasn't a fan of the seafood platter. It tasted very gamey. We got 2 apps, the garlic bread and the ceaser salad. Both were good. I got the seafood platter, and my girlfriend got the beef stroganoff, the special of the night. I think they should move it to the main menu as it was perfectly cooked and the flavors were immaculate. Nothing was overpowering, and the beef was tender. We also got the creme brulee and the apple pie. Both were good, but I was hoping for a crisper crust on the apple pie. Service was amazing.“
“I loved what I orderedThe garlic mojo shrimp were delicious ? I also ordered a flan ? but I didn't get to take a photo of it, I missed it but it was too small for 4.50 I think that's what it costs I definitely won't order more“
“The bean dip, salsa & chips will get you in the door but the drinks and bartenders will keep you from leaving. Seriously, Ismael and Chuy are the best! I love the chorizo but my husband is a huge fan of the al pastor. The Alambre is the absolute best (share it - it's huge!)“
“In a sea on fancy, overpriced downtown hair salons, law offices, and bougee restaurants, La Esperanza is a beacon of hope for someone craving some Latino food!! The price point works for a quick lunch. I ordered delivery and I was happy that they wrapped the plate with foil so it didn’t get all soggy once you add the slaw.“
“Great service with reasonable priced plates. We had cheese enchiladas plate. Rice and beans traditional with excellent red and green sauce. Cool photos throughout restaurant of former local soccer talent with clean tables and TV playing a soccer match.“
“Perfect choice to Doordash on game day. Although the wait time was supposed to be 30-50 minutes, surprisingly, it arrived FAST! Loved that besides the food arriving early, everything was hot, delicious, and with just the right amount of heat. Price was reasonable, except for all the little nickels & dimes charged for Doordashing. Other than that, there is no room for complaints.“
“We went in for dinner late evening. Staff was excellent service. kudos to the chef for a delicious and awesome meal. fresh pasta is always the best. Cant wait to go back. They have a nice outdoor patio. Look forward to trying it once it cools enough to be outside.“
