This the first sighting of Chesters fried chicken in the Bay Area of Northern California. Don't know if this Shell station got good chicken with Chesters Chicken. They good In the 2 states of the lower 48 contiguous US States, where available, namely in Wyoming & Ohio at Major truck stops like Loves Travel Centers.

Chester's Fried Chicken (CFC) is good, low priced fried chicken sold at a gas station in East Oakland. It's not as salty as KKC, and not as pricey as KFC. Today I ordered an 8-pc Chicken only and Potato Wedges. The chicken is ok. It doesn't have alot of flavoring or seasoning. But my chicken was moist and hot. The chicken isn't crispy or crunchy. The potato wedges were fresh and crisp. Nutritional info and ingredients shown on box.Ketchup, hot sauce, and napkins included.

Chester's Fried Chicken has a smaller menu than it's competitors. it's in a Fruitvale gas station convenience store. i had low expectations. this place was a backup when a taco popup couldn't be found..offerings: tenders, wings, fried chicken, combos, sides, chic. sammie.eats: chicken tenders (4/5.99) with one dipping sauce.-tenders not the usual strips, were crescent shaped. moist, slightly salty.lightly crusted, not an abundance of chemicals. not a lot of flavor. not dry either.-honey mustard dip lacked body, just slight flavors.3.5 stars fried chicken prices buried in the middle...crumbs:-quick, courteous, service-didn't see any burgers on menu. -

I visited this place recently and I wish I did this long time ago. I stopped to get some gas, the price was very low comparing to other shell gas stations. From the moment I stopped I can tell that the owner was taking care of his business. The way of how he advertised his business was unique . I was greeted when I entered the store and the staffs were so friendly. The smell of the store was fresh unlike other stores and the products were well organized and maintained. Finally, I tasted the chicken tinder and wooow the crispiness and deliciousness was incredible. If I can give this store a 100/10 I would. Highly recommended and I would definitely come back again..
