Every dinner or lunch plate I've had here has been both very tasty and priced at about $8-10. A true gem in the Fruitvale. Service can be a bit slow sometimes but where else can you get stuffed from one huge taco for $3.50? That's right $3.50! Order a beer to help out this small Mexican paradise. I've had the carnitas and chicken fajita taco and both are a great taste value.
I came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and left satisfied. The place is self seating but it doesn't look like it gets busy so grabbing a table shouldn't be a problem. The service here was great, but then again there were only two other customers in the spot when I showed up. The waitress immediately came by and handed us a menu along with some water and chips which was good and crispy. I ended up ordering some scrambled eggs with bacon and tortillas, refried beans and rice....read full review

I celebrated my PhD yesterday in this gorgeous place. Well we had a brilliant evening and the restaurant was no doubt the reason for that fruitful gathering. The crew helped in a graceful way, the meals were great and my guests were very joyful. We shall absolutely return for more celebrations. thanks very much.
