The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was exceptionally friendly. This is a family-owned establishment, and every dish we tried had a wonderfully fresh taste. We ordered Pad Ped Pla Duke, shrimp rolls, tom yum soup, and pad kee moh with shrimp – all of them were absolutely delightful. We plan to return for more in the future. "The Vulcan Cafe" is a Thai restaurant in East Oakland that stays open late. I had a recommendation that I try this place, so on a Thursday evening I ordered: - Garlic Chicken Wings (6)- Tom Yum Gai SoupOkay, the chicken wings look great in the photo, but were overcooked and hard to eat. Went there with a friend on a Saturday. It was a surprising little gem in an odd location. We were the only customers at that time. The owners were delightful. I had a fish dish that was on the specials menu. My friend is a vegetarian and he found plenty of options. We were both delighted with our meals. I look forward to going back there.
