“Clean, friendly, delicious food, and outstanding service by Veronica! We came up from the peninsula on our way to our boat in the Delta and stopped for breakfast at the Black Bear Restaurant in Oakley. The restaurant was in tip-top shape, well taken care of and managed, food was absolutely yummy, and Veronica had a smile on her face during our entire visit. She was just exceptional and spectacular! “This is my go to place. I have had some delicious Burgers. But Hd remains consistent the stove is friendly the food comes out quick and hot and the pricing is very fair. I'm always greeted with a friendly face. The inside it pretty much standard I love all the plants it's laid back it the local neighbors burger joint . I have not had a bad burger yet.“

“Great cafe that serves breakfast and lunch. We've had both meals there several times. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. It's a great old fashioned looking cafe. The staff are great. You might even be greeted by the nice owner Paul taking a break outside the restaurant by the parking lot. My husband loves the Joe's scramble for breakfast. My favorite for lunch is the tuna melt and patty melt. Their fries are also really good.“

“Just got back from a delicious dinner! The cocktails were amazing! Food was delicious, no to go boxes because we couldn’t stop from finishing. And the service, the service was amazing. Our server recommend wines and knew all about what was available and spot on! She was fantastic and the hostess was what you don’t see anymore and should, welcoming! “Stopped by Sylvia's randomly while charging my car. The decor was like walking into my grandma's house when I was a kid and I immediately knew whatever I ordered was gonna be delicious, and the wait staff was going to be friendly and attentive. I ordered chicken enchiladas and all I can say is it was perfect. I will now be be making my way to Sylvia's from San Francisco as often as possible“

“Looking for a waterfront dinning experience your sure to enjoy? Look no further. Chef Ed and his team have transformed a previously mediocre eatery into a fine restaurant. We were greeted promptly sat by the window with a beautiful view. Amanda our server was excellent as was all our food and drinks. We tried many of the specialties short ribs, seared Ahi, rib eye and lobster mac and cheese (my favorite). We ate here two nights both were five stars!“

“Fabulous treasure dining at this old diner on the river . Quaint and charming. My daughter and I ordered a mushroom omelet which came with hash browns and sourdough bread. Fresh and yummy. The waffle was also fresh and flavorful. Comfortable outside areas and the water near. The breakfast and lunch menu selections are impressive. Give this place a try you will be glad you did. They should be able to park on top next to the restaurant. There is plenty of parking down below, but you do have to walk up a few stairs to reach the restaurant.?Kid-friendliness: Everyone is very nice. “MJ's in cute downtown Brentwood is a great place for breakfast and lunch. Food is delicious! We frequent this place often. They also have delicious baked goods that sell out quick.The employees are so nice. One of the employees, Jose, always makes sure your coffee cup is full which is nice bcuz most places you usually have to ask for more coffee. Try it you'll love it.“

“I had a good experience here at Black Angus. We had a big party and our waitress (Briana) did a fantastic job with our group. Drinks were refilled, orders were correct, and she was super friendly. The Beer menu was fine, it was mostly Macro stuff, but they had a couple of the good Macro options, and a couple Shadow Puppet beers as well. The Food was decent, the Brussel Sprouts were really good. My Filet Mignon Sandwich was decent, the meet was good, but it could have used more bell pepper imo. My wife wasn't a fan of her burger, but it's not her review I guess, it's mine :)Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the experience.“

“Beautiful day to be seated by the window! We were seated almost immediately. Our server, Oak, appeared as soon as we sat down. She was pleasant and attentive! Ran down the menu (including the stuff not listed). Our food was delivered quickly and it was very tasty. The entire staff was great. “1st time here. The restaurant was decorated cutely for Christmas. Ordered the Empire Chicken Salad Sandwich Togo. As they were preparing the sandwich I noticed fresh baked muffins. I also purchase an apple cinnamon muffin to have with my coffee in the morning. So my sandwich was very tasty. I enjoyed the cranberry in it. It was a simple sandwich, just the salad on a crescent roll so nothing to take away from the flavor. Looking forward to trying other sandwiches.“
