“The food here is amazing! We came here for my birthday dinner. We all got great dishes: my pork chop was tender and juicy, the crab cakes were excellent as was the flaky filo Mary's chicken. The desserts were good, not as great as the main courses in my opinion but my friends liked them. We got the bread pudding and the black bottom white chocolate banana cream tart.“
“Amazing service and amazing food. Best grilled cheese I ever had in my life. Must add bacon and caramelized onions wow! Strawberry milkshake is the way to go! It’s the best out of all the milkshakes(: Garlic cheese fries are super strong but oh so good! Been here multiple times and never been let down! Always eat in because take out has smaller portions. Eating in has reasonable portions I usually can’t finish my meal in one go! I only ever finish the fries first haha! For two people it was $70 with tip. For a family of four with tip it’s around $100 to $110. But it’s definitely worth it!“
“Same location where it was called Pizza Antica before. The location in Google maps is incorrect and actual location is across the side street from the parking lot.Good food, very good and friendly service. Try the mushroom pizza, salmon, or chicken dish. They also have $7 sangria specials starting on Thursdays every week. The ambience is friendly and the decor is minimalist. The portions are big. You can see the impact of inflation in the prices. If you pay using the QR code (sends you to Toast) it includes tax for calculating tip percentages, which is not great. Hopefully they fix it.Vegetarian options: They will customizeKid-friendliness: Small selection of usual kids items“
“Best all around restaurant in the area. Our store is close and we eat here all the time. Don't underestimate the food because you assume it's a bar atmosphere that wants to serve cheaper items to passify patrons. The food such as the seared ahi, chicken pot pie, the chicken meal, the shrimp and grits and multiple kids items are really well put together and that is what honestly would surprise most people about Norm's. The sliding door opens up for events next door and there is always sports on. The staff and the owner alike make you feel comfortable and at home. The best part is they always keep up with us as customers and they remember what we eat. It's the little stuff that makes norm's special.“
“We had a very enjoyable experience here! My friend and I split a money burger and fried chicken sandwich so we could each try them both. They were both so tasty! We did order the burger medium and it came medium well, no biggie for us. It was still tasty, loaded with flavor. The fried chicken sandwich was also good, crispy and not dry, yummy sauce. Truffle fries were fire as well. Crispy edges, soft middle, great taste. Our waiter was super friendly and a joy to talk to. The ambiance inside is a little loud but lively, it's clean, and there are tv's with games showing. Outside looked nice too, there are heaters. Prices are fair, and great location. Would recommend!“
“Very attentive and friendly and helpful, my first time and I loved it, the burgers are a delight, order it to your liking ? and the potatoes ? you can order them to your liking and the coffee ☕️ delicious ? and the place is beautiful ? and it is not High price, worth going, the place is very beautiful ? everything in the style of the town.First God if I come back.Parking: There is parking on the street and it is not difficult, it is fast and it is not dangerous.Wheelchair accessibility: It has its own entrance and without risks with enough space and comfortable to get into wheelchairs ? , good order“
“Friendly, attentive service. Perfect fish and chips, (crunchy batter, soft, moist fish, un-soggy fries), paired great with a double IPA. Cobb salad was loaded, and very fresh. Iron Horse Trail proximity gives biking and walking options, but there's plenty of off-street car parking.“
“Currently traveling for work a day longer than I expected and/or wanted. BIG meeting in San Ramon tomorrow that I learned today I must attend. Found a hotel close to the head shed for corporate and there just happened to be a Black Bear Diner in the same parking lot. Now as a back story, I've only been to a Black Bear Diner once before and the portions were way too big for a oil and gas gypsy like me who's in a hotel - you could have another meal easily from a single entrée. This time I made a late lunch of their $9.99 2 eggs, sausage and french toast. It was awesome. The service was great and I enjoyed it so much, I committed to returning for dinner. Fast fwd a couple hours, I returned for a late meal of a house salad and a grilled chicken breast and a raspberry ice tea! Again it was exactly what I wanted and recieved no push back from my ala carte ordering by the very accomidating Ms. Nodia. If your in Danville, stop by this extremely popular place.Parking: I walkedKid-friendliness: I was soloWheelchair accessibility: Happily not dependent on one“
“We always enjoy the food here (this time Steak, Risotto, 2 way chicken, Salmon), although the menu seemed more limited than last time (6 months ago). Unfortunately there was a huge birthday party going on (including video screen, etc.) and they gave them a microphone which blasted through the whole restaurant. Good wine selection and I always enjoy the Doubtfire cocktail (jalapeño infused tequila),“
“The seafood pasta was excellent. The sauce was quite tasty. The seafood was fresh including shrimp, mussels, and clams.Fat Maddie’s is located in the indoor/outdoor mall next to the Blackhawk Museum in Danville, CA. The restaurant is large, has an attractive bar, and a very pleasant outdoor patio with views of the pond, waterfalls, and geese. The patio is an excellent option for the warm days. The mall is attractive, but when I was there, Friday noon, there were only a few people in the mall; but Fat Maddie’s had about 10 tables with customers. The waiter was pleasant. There is plenty of free parking.“
“Love the decor and feel of the place. Solid, well priced menu and wine/cocktail list. Friendly servers and staff. My only complaint is that the main entree - short rib - while excellent and flavorful was too small and a bit under salted for my taste. Same with the starter meatballs-while it was a good portion size for a starter, it could have used a bit more salt.“
“We had a good meal here. The risotto was fabulous. I had soup and a side of shrimp that was good too. I do wish they had more salads to pick from. I have only eaten lunch here before and I do love their shrimp and grits. Drinks could be bigger. We went a little before the rush and it was still really loud. Not easy on the ears. It's very indicative of Danville Ca. A bit posh but not too much.“
