“Deltina formerly Quintessa.Is the best coffee in the central coast hands down.I loved coming in and getting my Large white mocha back when I lived here.They use dark roast for their espresso so it is always much more bold flavor wise than a medium roast or light for that matter.Loved the staff and the owner jack was always super kind and explained to me the entire roasting process which they do in house BTW.“

“$7.50 for a latte now. Wow!The food and coffee here are way overpriced. So I go into AG for the same latte for $2.00 less.The atmosphere is nice and roomy and the service just OK. Sometimes better than others, like when I came in and the staff went home early so no food was being served so I have been going into AG instead ever since. The hours are unpredictable. The food and coffee are good but I can get the same thing down the street for much less.If I do go I go for the homemade yummy muffins.“

“The place is relaxing, cozy, and a good place if you want to just have a time for yourself, or a place for conversation with someone or group of people, there are some pockets of space just for you and they even have a room for big groups. This time we picked their outdoor seating, it was a nice weather to have a latte outside. The coffee is great too, it felt and taste like it was carefully handcrafted for you, we had white mocha latte and ham and swiss croisant. The pastry was really good, good portion of meat and cheese. I am certain it was not from a grocery store warmed up. It's a special croissant, one of the best I had in Central coast. Looking forward to trying their other pastry. “I was able to buy some Kona coffee from Hawaii here for my Dad which is very hard to find since this brand is only sold on one of the islands. The service was great here. They gave me a free cold brew too which was very good. The ambiance is very decorated with items from Hawaii.“

“Sunshine Donuts makes the best, most consistent, traditional cake donuts I've ever tasted, bar none. I fell in love with Sunshine Donuts in SLO, and was devastated to learn they'd closed, and been replaced by the SLO DO CO Instagram donuts. I mean, nothing against Instagram donuts, but slodoco's donuts are way too sweet. And don't have the beautiful dough taste of Sunshine's. So I was OVERJOYED to find out that there was a Sunshine's in Nipomo, and it's the same recipes and menu! The apple fritters are the same, the donuts are the same, and it makes me so happy. I highly recommend coming here if you're a cake donut fan. It's better than Winchell's, if you're an LA donut fan. I know, HERESY, but Sunshine's got the (baked) goods to back it up. They're not the best raised donuts I've tasted, though those aren't bad. But the cake donuts are SO GOOD. And the apple fritters. And the buttermilk bars actually taste like their own thing, not just loaves of cake donut. They're closed for 3 weeks after Christmas, and when they open again, I'll be there with bells on, to start the new year right!“

“Small cozy spot off the main strip. I came here because my kid spotted it. We decided to give it a shot. Upon entering, it felt small. However, there was seating outside. I got a small coffee and a biscuit and gravy w/ egg and hash brown bowl (forgot what it was called). My kid had a waffle with Nutella & banana. An overall, great experience. I didn't get to try the ice cream but definitely coming back for that.“

“My wife and I enjoy Pismo Beach and all its shops. We happened into Hotlix and were surprised at the wide variety of different kinds of candy and sweet treats. The prices were what you would expect from a tourist location. We checked out what they had that we could buy for some friends back home and decided on the milk chocolate covered pretzels with sprinkles. We weren't leaving for a few days, so we decided to come back and get them right before we left on our drive home to Orange County. The 4-stars is for the great selection of differently kinds of sweet treats. The lack of the 5th-star is because of the not very friendly staff. This is only referring to the young females working there. On the first day we were there, we spoke to an older woman, (possibly the owner or manager) and she was very friendly. She told us about how the stock is rotated and how items are made in-house. She was busy stocking shelves, but she still took the time to talk to us. We appreciated that. Unfortunately, the young females all seemed like they were not happy to be there and were merely going through the motions.“

“During our last visit to San Luis Obispo, we stayed in Pismo Beach and dropped by Steaming Bean for coffee and breakfast. It was busy but the service was excellent and although we had to wait for a short while for the food, it was also excellent. I loved the back patio and we sat out there for a while enjoying the morning. A highlight for me was seeing a Sunbeam Tiger pull into the parking lot below but the girls weren’t as impressed. “So we bought some tamales down in orange county that were supposed to be terrific. Had them today and had way too much masa. So I bought some from Cafe Padre, all Carnitas. We tried a couple of those my husband and I and they were pretty good. Just the right amount of spice. I would've liked a little bit more meat, but they were sure better than the other ones.“
