“The cream cheese pillow donut is THEE best donut I've ever had in my life. I was visiting SLO for a friend's wedding and on my way out of town stopped to get a donut. I am so grateful while also regretful that I don't live in the same town as this shop. I also ordered a dirty chai late which wasn't the greatest because for my first sip I got a mouth full of powder. I won't dock a star for it though because the donut made everything better “
“Parking sucks - all spots in the small lot were taken when I pulled in and I never saw anyone pull out within the 30 minutes I was here, after having paid for parking down the street. The line was long and didn’t move fast. The environment is hip, but loud. Don’t expect to get work done here. The coffee is great - five stars here.“
“Must see and taste confectionery shop when in SLO. Incredibly unusual and varied types of Turkish Delights. I bought a small bag of mixed colors of Narnia. I’m surprised there isn’t a shop like this in the Bay Area and if there is I’d like to hear about it.“
“This is EASILY the best coffee and cafe in SLO. Although a bit hidden to the native and tourist eye, it’s definitely worth the find. The cafe itself is located inside the city courthouse. The craft espresso beverages are always superb. I usually get The Elvis, blended. I think about this beverage often and if I could I would have it every day of my life until death do us part. The food is also great. Just like the coffee, most of the menu is fresh and made to order by the chefs and owners themselves. You can also grab a tasty pre-made snack, breakfast or lunch from one of their fully stocked fridges. I usually go for a breakfast sandwich made with one of their homage savory jalapeño cheddar scones. Please make the time to stop here and check it out. Ownership is local, wholesome and skilled at what they do. The courthouse may be an uncommon place to stop for a pick-me-up. But if you want quality coffee in SLO, without a line out the door, and at a reasonable price—this is the place for you.“
“I had a medium hot caramel sutra and a navy special. The drink was great; it made me wish I had gotten a larger size. I never had a bagel with lox before, so I didn't know what to expect. The capers in it were a bit too salty for me. But overall, good. Service was good. I would come back here next time I'm in town and need coffee.“
“Cute place inside. Good vibe. Espresso drinks made with expertise. A bit warm inside on a hit day because the historic garage door is also the front door, which is open. All-gender bathroom is a single, spacious room. Toilet barely flushed.Wheelchair accessibility: The floors and entrance are flat and spacious.“
“We visited earlier this week from out of town and had a very nice time at Linnaea's cafe. The employees were so kind, and let my kids feed the fish. They have tables inside, as well as garden seating in the back. We'll be moving to town soon for work, and this will definitely be a favorite spot :)“
“one of my favorite coffee shops in slo. it's essentially a cafe as an addition to their art bunker! chairs with backs (essential for working for a bit!) are surrounded by lovely plants and work done by local artists. my favorite to get is the black and white iced latte. the chocolate they use is soooo rich and sweet, not really good for a daily thing but definitely a treat. an iced black and white with a vermont maple scone is the perfect breakfast to get me to sit down and work for a little bit. they are also open a bit later than other places!“
“Friendly coffee shop, good decaf espresso (yes, it can be good). Plenty of indoor and outdoor seats on relatively quiet street.Parking: Parking lot about 80% full at 10am mid-weekKid-friendliness: Plenty of outdoor seating off the parking lot to sit with kids.Wheelchair accessibility: At street level and curb drop ramp from parking lot.“
“This is my favorite Scout location. Plenty of parking in the plaza and the surrounding area. There are lots of good things in the surrounding plaza and across the street too. This location is very close to the campus and is almost always busy. There lots of space inside and out and the staff is very friendly and can handle the high volume. We got a cheddar and bacon scone , blueberry muffin, matcha Latte, woodlands latte. The cheddar scone was awesome and the muffin was good as well. Matcha was good but slightly milky in flavor. The Almond milk latte I got was their Homemade woodlands flavor. It was a mix of maple , citrus and Douglas Fir. Like as in the tree. I know it sounds crazy, but it was actually subtle and pleasant. I enjoyed the flavor all the way to the bottom of the cup. I also went there another day for a winter seasonal and got the maple and sea salt latte which was great as well. This is my most favorite location and will keep coming back for more.Parking: Lots of parking spaces in the plazaKid-friendliness: Lots of room in here for families“
“Delicious and satisfying food and drink, friendly and beautiful baristas. The ambience is great for studying or just hanging out and enjoying your food for a minute. They also offer a variety of at home coffee tools! Highly recommend stopping by, the energy is great here!“
“A nice local coffee shop! There was plenty of seating inside and outside, which was great for us to be able to enjoy the weather. We ordered vanilla lattes with oat milk. It was a little too dark for our palate and $16 for both drinks felt a bit steep but delicious nonetheless. We also ordered a blueberry lemon poppyseed muffin, which was really good! The baristas were nice and cheerful.“
“Had some time to kill while our van got checked out around the corner so we came over here to get some work done. The coffee is delicious, reasonably priced, and the food was great. The best part of this place is definitely the decorations. It’s stunning.“
“Top tier tea spot. Came for boba (which was great… bubbles more delicate than most spots), then came back for the shop. Then saw they have a crazy good loose leaf tea game. I asked for a mug, they served it in hand-thrown ceramic.Never mind the Madonna Inn, this is SLO’s must-visit.Wheelchair accessibility: Gentle ramp brings you in. I *think* it would accommodate a wheelchair.“
“I stopped in while in the area, and ordered vanilla chai. It’s made with a cream concentrate, which I really enjoyed. The shop is very cute on the inside, very welcoming. My drink was made extremely quickly, and the barista were very friendly. I will definitely stop by again as I am in the area for work for the next several months. If you have not had the opportunity to stop in, I would recommend giving them a try. Admittedly, I did not have an opportunity to try any other items, but will be doing so within the next week or so.Parking: This shop is located next-door to Efren’s Mexican restaurant and they show the same parking lot. Depending on what time you get there it can be difficult to find parking.“
“An awesome place to stop for your lunch and coffee needs! They have a Dim Sum menu with small bites along with curries, stew, soups and even combo plates! Lots of options for vegan/vegetarian and even gluten free! My go to order is the crispy tofu with yakisoba and garlic broccoli. Everything is priced very reasonably and delicious!“
“Second time here, though first visit was several years ago so I had forgotten. Then I remembered I liked it. And I still do. Their specialty for their own brews is sours. And they have a really nice range of those, from berry to citrusy, salty to sweet. If you don't like sours, have no fear: They have a huge range of other beers and ales on tap. Again, a really nice range, one that favors California breweries. The food is very good, a step up from standard bar food. They have good burgers and sandwiches, of course, and various fries. But also really good salads, tater tots, and more. Pleasant open space, and very friendly, helpful waitstaff. SLO has a few other good, local brewery restaurants, including Antigua and Central Coast, but Libertine should be on your go-to list as well, and if you're a bit foodie at the top.“
“Such a cute place with yummy drinks! Service was amazing and the worker at 1pm (I'm sorry we never got your name!!) was just so kind and helpful and wanted to make us feel at home. I got a large Cafe Latte Smoothie and it tasted new and interesting! In a good way! I have never tried coffee and protein together so it was a new drink for me but so good! Next time I'm in town, I would love to come back again and try another drink :)“
“We popped in here while on our walk from the Apple Farm to Cal Poly. It had been sprinkling so we wanted a hot cup of coffee and my son wanted a snack. My husband enjoyed his Gibraltar (espresso-based drink with steamed milk but less milk than a latte). I had an Oat Milk Latte with Honey Lavender which I had never had before. It had a unique flavor but not too strong. The cup was really big. They seem to only have one size. My son had the Raspberry Crumble Bar and he really liked it. The inside of the cafe is comfy with tables and chairs, plus lounge chairs lining the walls. They have an outdoor patio as well. The staff was friendly.“
