“I took a friend to The Henry to celebrate his birthday (which indicated on the Open Table reservation); it was a great choice. They had a birthday card for him when he sat down and provided a birthday dessert after our meal. The food and service were outstanding.“

“It was such a lovely venture out for my Mom’s birthday, on Friday. Alex and Dominique (management) are quite lovely, and helped make our dining experience all the more, a joy! Love the new additions to the menu, particularly the Mini Steak French Dips. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent with the twist of those ‘pepper-like sweet’ tomatoes. Off rip, I knew it was gonna be bomb because my boyfriend actually has great taste and recommended it. I mean why would I date him otherwise? But I still had to be the one to taste it to believe it. Those biscuits put them on the MAP! I had lost faith in biscuits & gravy in this city. I have been let down time and time again because it was so weak. But these gave me hope for the future 🥹 I could see this place being my breakfast new normal. “As a New Yorker, my standards for breakfast & brunch are high. I’m so glad I came here! There’s a freshness about the atmosphere and the food selection is unique and tasty.
I got the curry with bokchoi and we had fried for the table.
They had matcha, which went perfectly with the creamy-with-a-kick meal. 🥰I wish I had 2 stomachs so I didn’t have to leave a bite uneaten, but I could only get through have of this lovely meal.

“Library Ale House is a really cool spot with a cozy, relaxed vibe that lives up to its name—it almost feels like you’re hanging out in a library that just happens to serve great beer. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends or winding down after a day out.

The staff was super friendly and attentive, and they’ve got a solid selection of craft beers on tap, including some local gems. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and looking for a chill place with character and quality drinks.“

“Put down your food finding electronic device right now! Just go eat here, please. You might be going back and forth... just stop. You won't regret it and you'll save a lot of time with enjoyment instead.

So we have been here two times. Both times were great. Nacho was our server both times as well, and he is a total mensch. 👌 (hey! You recognized us from our first visit a couple months ago and we are the couple from Hawthorne! You might need to go in my personal server hall of fame.)

You won't be left unattended. Went the bottomless drink route and are worried that you won't get your monies worth? Stop. This is a great beach town, and this purveyor of delicious decadent food is not going to cheap out on that either.

All the food is made with love. And you CAN taste it. I wish we knew the names of the cooks in the back, but they are unsung heroes in my book.

“EXCELLENT experience!!! We went here for my birthday dinner and not only was the food delicious and fresh, but the service was INCREDIBLE. We ordered one small drink, the burrata, meatballs, and tagliatelle, and our waitress (Kristin?) also brought us a comped cauliflower just because she wanted us to try her favorite thing. I forgot names, so sorry, but we interacted with a hostess, our main waitress, and another girl who were all so sweet and kind. They also ended up bringing us out an extra penne dish (not pictured). My daughter ordered the seasonal sorbet (peach-blood orange), and then they also brought me out a scoop of housemade vanilla ice cream to top off my birthday celebration. The service we received was really spectacular.

“We stopped and ordered 4 breakfast burritos, 2 tater tots, and 1 lemonade. There was a wait but that is no problem as you can tell it is cooked to order. We got our order hot and fresh, it was easily one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. The lemonade was also fantastic and homemade.“

We had filet steaks , Ny Strip, salmon, bacon mac n cheese , classic Mac n cheese, and brussel sprouts. Everything was cooked to perfection. “I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. I consider myself a foodie, and try as many different restaurants and cuisines as I can. And yet, Playa Provisions remains my favorite restaurant in LA (and that's saying something, considering the amazing places in LA). Run, don't walk, to Playa Provisions. You'll thank me.“
