“For such a small restaurant in a strip mall, this family owned Korean restaurant puts a good deal of love into their food and atmosphere. But if you’re looking for a proper dining experience, it’s too casual maybe. The food is excellent and wonderful for take away and cute for a relaxed meal with video screens. It’s authentic and delicious. They’re too small to have everything but great banchan and amazing chicken! Love their soup and boolgogi. And for sure don’t miss their kimchi pancakes.Kid-friendliness: It’s really perfect for kids. There’s enough to stimulate them and not stuffy enough to bother anyone. It’s roomy enough and great options for seating with ottomans, benches and chairs of course“
“Yuzu is solid! It's a staple in the area and one of the fresher sushi spots. The only reason for the one less star is because the wait is always forever, it's always too hot inside and they never have a good ventilation system, also I don't love that they put garlic on literally everything.“
“Ambiance and service here were good. The food js also good. Although the ramen places at Sawtelle are much tastier, this place is still decent if you are craving for ramen and don’t want to make a long drive to Sawtelle. Although this place has a long waitlist, its still worth to give it a “
“Came here on a random week night and was pleasantly surprised! Portions were appropriately sized but could be bigger, I came with a party of 4. We ordered 6 dishes and finished all the dishes, and the pricing of the dishes was amazing! Now for taste, the dishes look simple but were very flavorful and definitely packed a punch. Some of our favorites included pad see ew (food wok air flavor), garlic Chinese broccoli with crispy pork, and the Panang curry. Service was also quick and kind which we appreciated. Would definitely return again for a quick meal!“
“This Thai restaurant is a hidden gem! The vast menu offers something for everyone, and the portions are incredibly generous. My Pad See Ew with chicken was delicious, and it was enough to share with my toddler and have leftovers. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, with plenty of seating and friendly service. I can see why they're so popular. As I was leaving, they had a ton of to go orders ready, so it’s definitely a popular spot with the locals. They even have ample free parking, both on the street out front and in a lot out back (accessible through the alley).“
“Kip and Teddy absolutely knock it out of the park here! Don’t let the small footprint fool you. They were doing a massive business in take-out, but I chose to eat inside. Personally I love the atmosphere. It’s a small dining room but kept clean and neat. My first time here and it felt like being at a friend’s house. The service is excellent and personalized. You are most likely going to be dealing directly with the owners and they care. Speaking of care, the food was nothing short of delicious. It was exceptionally fresh and flavorful with just the right amount of complexity and nuance. Thank you gentlemen! Diners, you won’t be disappointed!“
“I stopped by Enjoy Bowl recently for lunch and had a good experience here. Ordered the Spicy Cheese Tonkotsu ramen and a Pork Bao Bun on the side. Service was good with the staff bringing the food to my table promptly and the ordering process was quick. The inside of the restaurant is quite spacious, clean, & bright with plenty of booths and tables for seating. They serve a more simplified menu of Ramen, Bibimbap, & Kimbap dishes. My ramen was delicious with a good amount of heat as I chose very spicy for my heat level and the pork belly was soft and tender. The noodles were chewy and springy and there was a good amount of cheese mixed with the broth which made for a rich, creamy flavor. The egg was also perfectly cooked and it was quite an enjoyable bowl overall. The pork bao bun was delicious with a nice, thick piece of pork in the middle and the bun was soft and pillow like. Overall, this is a good spot if you are in the Northridge area and if you are craving Ramen or Bibimbap, I recommend stopping by!“
“Went in for an early dinner on a Saturday. Had the daily special of Chicken green curry, salad, egg roll, and white rice. Great flavour! Not so much food that I felt bloated afterwards. Service was prompt and friendly. And the price was great, too! ($14.50) I’ll be back the next time I’m in Van Nuys.“
“Beautiful place, I ordered the party platter B over the phone and it was ready in less than 40 minutes. The sushi was really good and they called me when it was ready. Very helpful and yummy! Definitely will come here again! ⌯' ▾ '⌯“
“I came here with my partner for Valentine’s Day and was absolutely enchanted! The whole restaurant was decked out with red hearts, candles, flowers, and balloons. They even folded all their napkins into hearts! I’m the kind of person who LOVES Valentine’s Day, so this was really the best place to go for a date. The food was awesome. We ordered the big beers on draft, and boy were they BIG. In my opinion there’s nothing better than a Sapporo and sushi but I was not prepared to receive what looked like an entire pint! It was delightful.Service ruled. I asked our waitress if we should choose Nicole’s Roll or the Laurel Canyon, and without hesitation she recommended the Laurel Canyon roll. She was right. It was amazing.GET THE MONKEY BRAIN APPETIZER. Oh my god. It’s amazing. It’s spicy tuna stuffed inside of a mushroom and then fried.I think the kitchen initially got our appetizer order wrong, so they gave us some free gyoza too, which was really delicious. In terms of price point, I was pretty pleased. You can come here to get decent quality sushi without completely breaking the bank :]“
“OPEN FOR LUNCH! Google maps is wrong. Hours are 11am-3, 5-9pm DAILY, CLOSED TUES. Food is SO delicious. For a couple wok dishes I have to say light on the oil, but yeah, the people are super friendly and eating in a semi-garden like porch year round is a pleasure too! I’d give 4.5⭐️ if I could?“
“Accidentally came across this gem after having had a a flat tire incident. Excellent pineapple fried rice ( no egg) , shrimp dumpling soup and pad woon sen (no egg ). Great relaxing atmosphere. Loved the lighting as it brought me back to a scene from a David Lynch movie . 2 thumbs up :) Also wanted to add that the service was gracious + attentive. Will certainly return back“
“So first off, the food is good. Service is good. Ambiance is good. However, the portions are small for their price. Have been going since they opened and the portions then were much larger then, than now. By about half as much. But the plates are larger. Had the Duck Curry and there were like 5-6 small pieces of Duck meat. Mostly tomato, lychee, and pineapple.“
“This is one of my favorite local Thai food spots in the area. The food here is really good, especially their pad Thai, yellow chicken curry, pineapple fried rice, and beef satay. While the prices are decent, the portions are quite small for the price you're paying. Additionally, the restaurant is tiny and tends to get packed, so expect to wait for a while. However, the servers are really friendly and fast. I would highly recommend this place for its delicious food and excellent service, but be aware of the portion sizes.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Krua Thai on Sherman Way, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant's inviting ambiance and friendly staff immediately set the tone for a delightful evening. The menu offered an impressive variety of traditional Thai dishes, and each item we ordered exceeded our expectations. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced and bursting with flavor, while the Panang Curry had just the right amount of heat and creaminess. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and it was clear that the chef takes great pride in their craft. The service was impeccable, with our server providing helpful recommendations and ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The attention to detail and genuine warmth of the staff truly enhanced the overall dining experience.Additionally, the restaurant's clean and well-maintained interior added to the overall appeal, making it a comfortable and inviting space to enjoy a meal with friends or family.I highly recommend Krua Thai to anyone in the Valley Glen area looking for authentic Thai cuisine and top-notch service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of their enticing menu.“
“What a great lunch spot. The sushi rolls were so fresh and the presentation creative. My friend had the tempura and it was cooked just right, not greasy and the side sauces are fabulous. You can't go wrong with any of the bowls. Our group also shared the Terriyaki Salmon bowl and the fish was flavorful and the bowl was huge. I think the owner was there that day and he helped make some great suggestions. Actually all the staff were great and its a bright cheerful spot for lunch. I think we have found our go to lunch spot finally in Sherman Oaks. Can't wait to return!“
“This is a really good place to get Thai food or anything there food is amazing !? I have been going to this place a long time and also the atmosphere is so pretty I love it me and my friends from my church go hear to get some noodles and a Thai tea they have the best Thai tea of all time, and also the service is ok not the best I don’t really like it but I still recommend this place a lot trust me.?!“
“The food here is very affordable! The service is amazing as well. I called for pickup and I was stuck on what to order so I asked for a recommendation. She told me everything! This is the first and only time that when I called for a pickup that I chatted with the staff for a couple minutes. We were just laughing and talking, super sweet! I ordered the Pad Thai which was decent & my partner got the Drunken noodles! Both were very decent and I'll definitely come back again.“
