“Great food, loved the menu selection and great for vegans and vegetarians like me. Love that they have great Japanese food and nice boba drinks. Can’t wait to come back. The only reason I’m giving them a 4 is because I asked for a little extra ginger with my sushi which I was willing to even pay for, but it’s like their whole attitude changed just bc I asked, and they started chatting in Japanese in front of me right after I asked — I wish I knew what they were saying. It wasn’t a big deal and pretty rude to do that since I would have paid for it also and it was such a tiny amount. Initially they were nice until I asked for a little extra ginger, god forbid lol. It was almost humorous but also definitely rude. Maybe a cultural issue, idk…
Aside from that, I’ll definitely be back bc I love the place, love the food and we need more places like this in the desert! I got the veggie zen for what it’s worth with a little extra vegetable spring roll.“

“It was a great dinner for our family of 11. The service was great until we ordered dessert, which never arrived. We finally canceled the desert and left because the kids were losing it. Something must have happened in the kitchen. That was the only time they were unresponsive.“

“Our dinner at Mikado in JW Desert Springs was unforgettable thanks to our amazing chef, Fabian. He was entertaining, skilled, and made the whole evening special. The food was cooked to perfection, and as a surprise for our anniversary, we received a complimentary cake—and he even treated the whole table to free ice cream just because! Truly above and beyond. Highly recommend asking for Fabian!“

“We went to the Venue for our anniversary and we were so pleasantly surprised. They had some of the best sushi we've ever had. We highly recommend the Tuna Tostadas, the Venue Roll and the Sandfish Roll. My husband had the oysters which were fresh and beautifully prepared. Our drinks were ice cold and the service was top notch! This is our sushi place from now on!“

“Patience combined with tenacity and a lot of cash will get you a fantastic lunch & dinner experience. Recommend throwing caution to the wind and sitting at the bar overlooking Stadium 2. Incredible sushi and lychee martinis.“

“Great place for a fast/fresh teriyaki bowl. Small place, not so much a dine-in atmosphere place, but totally fine for grabbing a quick bite or taking to go. The chicken bowl portion was generous. Flavors were good and ingredients fresh. Might just pop back for lunch again today. 😊“

“Rolls are HUGE this could be good or bad depending on your preference but no matter what you order it’s going to be a delicious and each dish definitely puts on a show ! The place is small and cozy and service is good. The only thing I do stay away from here is the lemonade never had a lemonade taste so synthetic and fake. Over all this is a great establishment with rolls that have personality.“

“Love this place! I just movies to the area and discovered Beech, please! What a find! My new go,to restaurant! The food is wonderful, the staff friendly and helpful. The owner is friendly and funny. A great conversationalist as well.. I believe I’ll be spending a lot of time ordering from Beech, please!“

“We ate here based on reviews and it was not a disappointment. The tempura shrimp and vegetables were perfectly fried in a light tempura batter; the yellowtail in ponzu with thinly sliced jalapeño was fresh and light and topped with delicious micro-greens; the toro, salmon belly, yellowtail belly and seared red snapper nigiri was as fresh and flavorful as can be; and the seared spicy tuna roll was topped with a delicious and light olive oil and herb sauce that I can't describes as anything other than delicious. The staff was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, respectful and attentive. As a local, I will be back here again and again. They made us feel like we were invited into their home. This is the only place in Coachella Valley we will eat sushi from now on.“
