“Sea Bass and Parmesan Sole were fabulous as were the asparagus and Mac'n cheese. Due to unexpected rain we were not sure about our patio reservation but we were accommodated under the awning and with heaters. Anna, our server, was the best! Be sure to keep her, do not ever let her go! A very enjoyable dining experience for our table of six.”

“This was the top search result from Google when I searched for 'gluten free' and 'vegan'. My friend with Celiac Disease would not do well here – no gluten free bread. There were many items with garlic, and since I am garlic sensitive, I was forced to break my eczema prevention no wheat diet. We ordered BLTAs and I added cracked cheese (I expected a vegan cheese slice) but it was like mushed cream cheese which made my sandwich thick, soggy and messy to eat. I was very impressed with the tofu bacon, so we came back three more times. I tried the Coachella Forever and Mini Greens salada. The key lime dessert was apparently very delicious. They have fridges and freezers full of take-away items, and a pantry shelves full of Japanese flavours and I really want to take some home with me. I bought the mango lime dressing, but it started sweating after three days, so I ended up throwing most of the jar away. We bought a blueberry pie, by it wasn't like a real pie, so we threw half of that away as well. BLTA is the only item we like and we will come back for it, the levain sour dough was chewy and I enjoy the tofu bacon a lot. If they offered gluten free bread or even use Vietnamese rice wrap on the sandwiches for a gluten free option, we would have eaten here many more times.”

“Mitch's is a great seafood and steak restaurant with a massive outdoor patio. Today, we were inside. It was elegant and warm. The waiter service was fantastic and friendly. We loved their masterful cocktails, especially the espresso martini. The sushi and oysters were great appetizers. Their chocolate dessert that melts off was a fun dessert to watch and eat.”

“Took our family member here for her birthday. Tanya, our server, was so welcoming and pleasant. She seemed like she genuinely enjoyed people and her disposition was very authentic and rare among servers. There was also a bus person on staff who was prompt with filling waters, clearing plates, etc. It is clear that this restaurant takes service very seriously. Despite the great service, it never felt stuffy btw.The food was also on par with the service. We had salads (one pear and two beet), the Chilean sea bass, cioppino, crab cakes, and a few dishes for the kids. Everything was fantastic: fresh and well prepared..We had a reservation for outdoor dining which ended up being on a windy evening. The outdoor patio was actually sheltered and heated, so despite being offered to move inside, we enjoyed the outdoor patio. What an amazing restaurant; would definitely recommend!”

“I'm curious about why there are so few Lapperts ice cream shops in California. We literally drive here from San Diego to have this ice cream. The flavors are my favorite and you can't get anything quite like them from any other brand. My kids are obsessed too, perhaps it's a good thing that they are so scarce in location.”

“We were warmly greeted by a gentleman who I suspect might be the owner. He was jovial, quick to explain the menu, and make good-hearted suggestions. I got the vermicelli rice noodle bowl with pork shoulder and spring roll. My wife who's both vegetarian and gluten-intolerant also ordered the bowl, but with tofu. Both were excellent and perfect for lunch on a warm day.”

“We really enjoyed our meal here. Due to weather, they called to let us know that they were moving us inside (rain and winds), so I guess we'll have to return to dine outside in their adorable dining structure which makes you forget you're in a strip mall. The food was delicious, Two of us had the rotisserie chicken and loved it. I had the mussels and really enjoyed those too. We will definitely return.”

“Well, this ice-cream shop is close to the best, such us Baskin-Robbins.So if you are an ice cream lover and there's no Baskin-Robbins nearby, then you must come here. They have a variety of flavors. My favorites are strawberry cheesecake and pistachio ice-cream.Other yogurt places, for instance, Swirlyz, are sucks!I'm glad that this shop is in Palm Desert. They have a nice patio to enjoy your delicious desert.”

“Found this hole-in-the-wall joint on a walk. The steady stream of locals in and out was the first good sign! The sandwiches are so tasty and worth the wait. They have gluten free options, soft drinks (no beer/wine), and plenty of side options. It’s hard to find an authentic sandwich shop anymore - 10/10 would go back!”

“I'm not a local, but was in town for work. My coworker and I stopped in for lunch, I had the pastrami, and my coworker had the spicy Italian. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the sandwiches were excellent, and the experience was great from start to finish! If I'm back in town for work, I definitely will be back.”

I don’t know his name, because he never said more the three words when at our table. Never came back to our table to offer us another cocktail. We had to ask when we saw him which was rare.When dessert arrived. I got the churro dropped onto me by the busser.I got a brief “sorry” before he walked away and my partner had to tell him to bring plates and spoons for us and an extra napkin so I could clean myself up.Not a cheap place. But for the creativity on the food I’ll pay, but not tip. The tip we did leave should have gone to the BOH. I would have preferred a robot to this server we got. And that’s coming from a fellow restaurant employee.”

“My family and I really enjoyed our visit to Alps Village. The service was great and the food was delicious. If you want to point out little things..... The Nurnberg wurst was not a couple smaller sausages but one big one the same size as a normal Bratwurst but the taste was good and so not a complaint from me. I would have preferred sauerkraut and potato salad as options vs spaetzle and mashed potatoes. Still tasted good. The Jagerschnitzel was good. My daughter had a pizza as well and that was very good. She ate all of it. I will be back.”

“UBE Matcha Latte. I could end the review with those three words. When I say this is a must order I mean it. It is sooo good and pretty. Look at those colors. The ube compliments the matcha flavor so well. None of that bitterness from the matcha that is typical. The ube masks that flavor with a subtle sweetness. I love it and got it two days in a row. The turkey club is also surprising good for being a cold sandwich. We just wanted to grab a quick bite before heading to the tennis tournament. The vibe and ambience is also really great. They actually roast the beans right in the lobby which makes it a very unique experience. The service is great and fast. Everything about this spot is amazing. 10/10 one of the best spots if not the best restaurant/coffee in the area. Thanks for the pretty drink!”

“As so many dining establishments are outrageously expensive, we were looking for a less expensive restaurant that still has excellent food, which we found to be the case at Sweet Basil. I had the flank steak with the small Caesar salad. Both were excellent. Steak was cooked as requested and the servicing portion was very good. The customer service was also excellent.”

“We have been here 3 different times over the years on our trips to the desert- came here when they first opened with our boys years ago- pizza just like we had in Italy Second time was at Christmas a couple years ago when we met family out here and wanted a place that would have something for everyone in a party of 14. Everyone loved it- mussels, calamari, pastas, pizza... Then we came here late last night after we got into town- here for our spring break get away sans kids- Sunday night, super busy, no rezzies, sat at the bar- ordered happy hour pizzas and drinks- with cannoli for the finish!! Darlings- it was ALL phenomenal! I got the prosciutto and arugula and hubby got the chicci-chicci and claimed it was amazing. I devoured my 4 slices after claiming I wasn't sure I could eat the whole thing and was probably going to take some home. Cannoli was just like the best I had in Rome by the Spanish steps! Even had a bit of orange zest!! Even sitting in the worst seats in the bar (on the end where servers pick up drinks and drop off dirty glasses) wasn't bad- servers were especially friendly and fun! Great atmosphere!! Going back this week while we are here!!”

“It took us almost two hours to order, eat, and pay for three pizzas and a bottle of wine. And it was VERY hot at our table in the middle of the dining room. I love the shrimp scampi pizza and will go back just for that.”

“Have been here a handful of times and love the consistency! Always very busy, even on a recent Monday when going with a large party. They didn't have a table inside large enough for us. So they set up s couple of heatlamps for us by our table outside. Great service that night and on every previous visit!I always loved their 50% off all bottles of wine on Tuesdays. Great restaurant in a great mall located in a beautiful area of Palm Desert. I highly recommend a visit when you are in this area!”

“Amazing, authentic, delicious!! All the food we got was great! Service was also great! I couldn't decide between the chicken mole and the beef Beria and so to accommodate they gave me a side of the mole with my dish for free! I had the hibiscus drink as well which was delicious and we got also got the fried ice cream which tasted like dessert cereal tbh. I liked it and it was tasty, but I'd recommend just go with the flan.”

“This is my go-to special occasion restaurant and it's a huge treat whenever I get to eat here. It's not a vegan restaurant, but their menu is much more plant focused than most. On our last visit we got the grilled artichoke appetizer which was unbelievably tender and is served with warm vegan butter for dipping, the paella and the king oyster scallops. All were excellent. My friend has never eaten vegan food before and was blown away. He said the king oyster scallops were one of the best meals he's ever had! We also got the warm chocolate cake for dessert, which was amazing. Bonus - they have a fab mocktails menu including CBD drinks which were seriously delicious. “We just had a good dinner at Fresh Agave. We had a delightful waitress so Service was good too. We asked for another basket of chips to go with our dinner and we're told we were going to be charged for it. I've never heard of a charge for chips or salsa Mexican restaurant. There were four of us eating, and I commented to the waitress that if we had been two people at a table We would've gotten another basket but she said we would've gotten a smaller basket. I know prices are higher and the menu reflected that but really charging for extra chips? I think that's excessive.”

“Passing through the area and decided to stop by for brunch after seeing great reviews on here and let me tell y'all.. THIS IS A GEM. Food was amazing, had the chilaquiles and a pork omelette, 10/10. They offered a spicy Chile oil that was delicious and packed some heat!! (I'm a spicy kinda girl just sayin) and the service really went above and beyond! Shout out to Jaime our server who took great care of us! If we ever pass thru again definitely stopping by!”

“Chose to eat here because I'm familiar with the chain and was so very pleasantly surprised! First, the place was clean inside (especially the salsa bar because those areas are usually a bit unkempt). The salsa was well stocked with a nice variety. The food we got (veggie burrito, fries and SHRIMP FAJITAS-big bonus) were very fresh. The cashier was nice and attentive so all in all, I have zero complaints.”

“Was driving back to California from Phoenix and looking for a quick bite that was close to the interstate. Googled Mexican restaurants then googled ‘handmade tortillas’ and this place came up. Handmade tortillas are a must. Called about 15 mins ahead and they said my order would be ready in about 10 mins. Showed up and to my delight was a fresh salsa bar. I had a bean rice and cheese burrito that weighed about 5 pounds haha and 2 carne asada tacos. Definitely didn’t need either of the tacos(only ate one bc they were so large) . Loaded up on obligatory salsas and carrots, onions and jalapeños and hit the road. Salsas were effin awesome and the star of the show. Carne asada tacos were tasty and would order again but the meat could’ve been seasoned just a little more. Burrito was all I want in a bean rice and cheese burrito. Ended up tossing not eating the second of my tacos and definitely didn’t need the tacos. I will definitely be going back. Staff was attentive and friendly.”

“I came today before the GUTS concert and the service and cookies were excellent! Despite the place being packed, the three girls working today were running the show and making sure everyone got fresh, delicious cookies! In particular the blonde and brunette girls made my experience even better, when they recommended the chocolate chip! It was so fresh and I am definitely coming back.”

“A MUST stop.We stopped at the Cabazon outlets to check out a couple of stores and serendipitously ran into a new favorite. Oh my goodness. We, really I, got 2 1/2 pints and they were too good to eat slowly.Lemon, blackberry, streusel is like eating the best lemon/berry dessert but cold. And I also Honey Crème Brûlée and it was also amazing.Spent the week in the desert soaking up some sun and then went out of my way, about 30 mins, to find their other location in Palm Desert.The Lemon blackberry was so good I didn’t want to NOT get it and I also added Southern Banana pudding.I wish I had room to try all the flavors but these 3 were amazing and I got the chance to hear their story from starting in 2021 until now straight from the owner’s mouth.I wish you all the best and I hope this review will at least move the needle enough for someone to give you a try- you will NOT be disappointed.And of course pictures never do food or sky justice so take my word for it and stop in.And please lmk when you start shipping:)”

“The street view of Grill-A-Burger is reasonable. The ambiance when you step into the restaurant is positive in the theming they employ but the tables and chairs are just adequate.The service is helpful, likable and very attentive.The menu has a wide range of burger options and a few non-burger options. They have a large variety of French fry options.We chose the featured Tuscany Burger and sides of onion rings and sweet potato fries. All is well cooked, well plated and delivered quickly.Sadly, the overall flavor of this burger is a miss, which is a disappointment for a featured burger. Their rings and fries were solid hits. I would rate this place higher if I liked my burger more.”

The salad was okay but different from any other house salad. They have a sit down dine in and their counter is for take out only. You can see the pizza being made if you want to peak over the open space. They list a star when one of our family members were stuck in the restroom with no toilet paper…. They had to call us so we could request some.”

“Tried a few other breakfast spots but the wait was 45+ minutes. Saw a review on Yelp and decided to come here instead. Its location was more in a commercial area. Large indoor seating and Nice outdoor patio. We were able to get seated and fed in about an hour. Nice to not have to wait long for a good breakfast!! Especially when you have kids. Service was great! Very friendly staff! Made great suggestions. Breakfast burritos were large and steaming hot! We added Chorizo to one of the burritos and it was so good. I would have enjoyed having the potatoes inside my burrito but it was still a wonderful burrito. They were out of Cinnamon Rolls but had the Cinnamon roll french toast. I think this was actually the better option. It had a nice crunch and they even brought out the glaze to put on top. It was a very large portion and delicious. The Monte Cristo had an amazing crunch. Besides Disneyland this was one of the best I have had. My only suggestion would be to add another piece of meat. Otherwise flavor and texture were on point! I gave it a 4 because everything came out super hot and was delicious. The only thing that was not hot but warm was the country potatoes. If they can just make sure those are served hot like everything else I would give a 5! Thank you for the great breakfast and Service!”

“The food is delicious here. They have a wide variety of sandwiches on their menu! My favorite is the Sinatra, but I usually build my own sandwich. The ingredients are crisp and fresh! The management and employees are exceptional! Always friendly and they take care of any needs you have in regard to your food! A great place to have lunch, very quiet! The bonus is that they sell a mean Michelada!”

“This place is one of my favorite "go-to's" when I'm not sure what I want. Here's why- they've got huge variety to choose from American to Mexican, good old fashioned huge charbroiled burgers, sandwiches, melts, salads, and large selection of breakfast that's served ALL day & night long. Did I mention they let you substitute the sides from fries to onion rings to zucchini fries to even garden salad. Oh, and the zucchini fries are huge and delish!”

“Whatever Starbucks is putting into their matcha latte is causing inflammation. Either I'm allergic to the oat milk they use or the matcha tea powder mix ... or both ... so I'm finding alternatives. Sotto Voce in palm Desert has been on my radar for quite some time. Their matcha lattes are excellent quality and they don't just automatically dump vanilla syrup in it like Varraco and others do .... So they're definitely more than a cut above the rest. I put a little tiny bit of cane syrup in mine & it was perfect. This store is a bit of a challenge to get to as you have to walk through the whole mall to get to it. But the palm desert garden malls is a beautiful mall as it is open air and I could use a walk in the morning Have a Good Day”

“This location used to be difficult or a hassel to visit, due to the ladies who used to work here and their attitude. Today's visit was so pleasant and I tried some of their new chicken wraps. The entire crew has been changed and they were nice and helpfully attentive.There was 7 of us and they only made a minor mistake with our order. My mom asked for no onions on her burger and they quickly corrected it. The restaurant was clean and they had king crowns set up on every table for kids to have.The new chicken wraps were tasty. Although, the tortillas are never cooked for this item at any fast food joint, I would definitely come back for them and hope they become a permanent menu item. I tried the regular royal crispy and spicy royal crispy wrap. Both wraps use a mayo based sauce almost like an aioli. The difference in chicken wrap flavors are the hot sauces the chicken has on it. The spicy wrap brings the heat, with a red tinged sauce that mixes with the mayo sauce, it is a taste bud dance party. Both wraps had a crispy fried piece of chicken, they halve a crispy chicken patty. I also asked for extra lettuce, which adds that much more crunch.They have a Coke a Cola machine that you can choose among 50-60 flavors of soda, teas and sport drinks (I love pease teas!!!) In addition to a fanta cherry and coke ice machine.”

I'm NOT disappointed; it's a pretty good amount and it's in consommé with onion cilantro and a lime slice. This stuff is truly craveable. Rich, flavourful with some meat. Now, I'm usually a Birria snob, I love the goat stuff but who among us actually eats goat? Not many that I know. This is great. I will get more. We shared the calamari as an app., which is perfect to share. Christy and I split the 8 oz filet with garlic shrimp side and epic baked potatoes. ( maybe a world record for its size ) The steak was cooked perfectly and Jackie detailed the temp so we knew what we were getting. "Medium rare is not the same everywhere." We finished the night with a Key lime pie and voila. Easy to find and plentiful parking, you'll not be disappointed.”

Sides were great. Lobster fried rice, Mac n cheese and creamed spinach. We made certain we saved room for the butter cake. Best part of our meal and we shared it six ways. Only really complaint is you are packed in a bit tight in the dining room and of course the cost. $800+ for six.”

We did not have reservations (which I highly recommend), so we got on their walk-in waitlist and were seated accordingly. I'm pleasantly surprised at the portions and pricing of their dishes.
