“I placed an online order but needed to cancel it right away due to change in plans. The phone number is only a voicemail; there was no way to talk to a human. I left several voicemails; hopefully you got it in time!!Update: got a call from Alan, who canceled my order. Thanks!!“
“Solid spot for Thai food, great location on University Ave and very comfortable clean ambiance. Lots of seating both indoor and outdoor and really attentive service. Got seated as a party of 7 immediately for a Tuesday dinner. Decent portion sizes, got the pad see ew chicken and it was very filling. I got spice level 4/5 which I would probably say is a typical medium spice level.“
“This place has some nice decor! Went on a weekday night and the service was quite slow. However, the food was pretty good! It was my first time trying Burmese cuisine. Their potstickers are amazing and very juicy. Fried tofu and egg rolls are great too. They have good spicy options and a big menu. A nice place for dinner overall!“
“The food was actually really flavorful. This place only takes credit card and you have to use a kiosk to order, they do not take your order for you. You can tell most people order online in advance. It did take a little longer than I expected to get my food as there is no seating inside, only outside. So you have to just stand there until it's ready - it was about 10 minute wait and there were 3 people ahead of me. So it's not going to be a fast in and out like a Chipotle.Overall the food was really good with average/medium sized portions. I would recommend this to others if you are in the mood for some Thai!“
“I've been wanting to try this for awhile and I'm glad I did finally. I ordered the 2 onigiri combo with karaage. It also came with edamame. The two rice balls I had are unagi (eel) and snow crab. I enjoyed both rice balls but the karaage is so so. The chicken is not bad but I'll probably skip it next time. It's good to have some edamame in the combo.I see some people complain about the price and I understand that onigiri are basically convenient store food in Asia but unfortunately that's true pretty much in the US where you get crappier food with higher price compared to Asia so I don't think it's fair to say it's the fault of this one restaurant. The place itself is bigger than you'd expect from the entrance and fairly clean. The service is alright and I did have to wait a bit before they gave me my pickup but not enough to say it's bad service because I'm sure they are busy by looking at the huge number of orders they already prepped before it's 11:15am.“
“Excellent food with great service. Sushi was excellent and the food arrived very quickly. One suggestion-since California St. in Palo Alto is now permanently closed, the restaurant could note that on their website and suggest parking choices also.“
“I had the fried rice there, it was great. The bathrooms were very clean. The waiter and host were really nice, and there was NO excessive delays, whether that be the waiter not coming by to my table or the kitchen being slow to give me my food. The prices were also reasonable.“
“Folks who go to Asian Box go because the food is reliable and tasty. This is NOT what this review is about (because it is still reliable and tasty). This review is for the service. Door Dash screwed up my order (not surprising) so after realizing that I was NOT going to get my Asian Box order delivered, I drove to the restaurant to place the order again. I spoke with Wendy, the Executive General Manager, and she was understanding, kind, and most importantly, professional. She immediately helped me with my order and expediated it so quickly, I should have just gone to the restaurant to place my order instead of relying on Door Dash. Also, I want add that their crew quickly put together 6 orders in 5 minutes. Go there if you want to be treated kindly and respectfully because fewer and fewer places nowadays seem to remember that service is just as important as food quality and taste.“
“I love the blueberry moffle, a combination of mochi and waffle, and I also like the egg soufflé. The sides, including the fried potato and Brussels sprouts, are very tasty.Vegetarian options: You will need to ask for the vegetarian options. Even some of them look vegetarian when read the ingredients, the seasoning may contain seafood.“
