colette is a solid option for both lunch and dinner in the pasadena area. if you're looking for good asian food , colette has a mix of traditional and more trendy/fusion items on their menu. they have dim sum (their siu mai was on point) and I really enjoyed their tofu and cabbage dishes as well. not too salty or oily. not pictured but they also have salted egg pumpkin which i'm a sucker for. would definitely give it a try!!
Food price varies a lot but with the cheaper side, ~20ish dollars, it's still pretty affordable. Food tastes, at least the seafood fried noodles and laksa seafood noodle, was a little too bland for my tastes. It feels too watered down compared to traditional Cantonese cuisine (can't speak much to the laksa noodles though). The oolong tea was also very bland, tea leaves tasted overboiled with too much water. Nice service from waiter and nice outdoor patio vibe though. Can't really...read full review

Very good food. Dim sum options are made to order, the serving size of the dim sum dishes are somewhat larger than others. Crispy stuffed chicken is actually shrimp/pork stuffed between fried crispy chicken skin. Black truffle friend rice is excellent too. Friendly staff. Location is somewhat hard to find because from the outside it kinda looks like a motel. Indoor decor has a Spanish cafe feel to it, which seemed odd, but who cares it's great food.
