The parking was a mess and with all the outdoor dining it was just a tight space but lots of cool little places. Anyways inside the restaurant wasn’t too busy. I ordered a adobada mulita and an asada taco. My friend ordered 4 different tacos. The corn tortillas were hella tasty and fresh while the meat was seasoned really good. Overall it was great tacos.
I was excited to finally try Tacos 1986 but what a disappointment! I ordered two Al Pastor pork tacos and a medium guacamole and chips. The taco was filled w dry, almost burnt chips of pork that turns to powder when I chewed. The guacamole was good and serving was generous for three people but nothing special. The adobada (al pastor) tacos are delicious and authentically Mexican!! And the freshly made tortillas make all the difference. My favorite salsa is their salsa macha. So good. Highly recommend.
