this place is so slept on. I have eaten at just about every Japanese curry spot in the city, and (save for the curry I make at home from scratch) this place is now officially my number one !! portions are BIG, and the spicy curry was actually spicy. magnificent flavor, really kind staff, speedy service and everything is fried fresh. I wish vegetarian-wise that they had tofu katsu, but I'll be back regardless.

I usually go to the one in Little Tokyo. I didn't even realize there was one in Pasadena. You order at the screen and pay. Then the people do their thing and boom, you get curry. I like getting the hamburg steak with my curry. Maybe I'll try the katsu next time I go. Definitely opt in on the bit of veggies. I eat it like a flavor reset when all you taste is curry after a while.
