“Bomb shwarma spot! Highly recommended. The wraps are filled with meat and delicious veggies. The sauces are very tasty as well. The size of the wraps are big and could probably feed two people. They also have dumplings that looked really good which I will probably try next time I'm there. Add jalapeños, it gives the perfect spice to the wrap.“
“We were looking for a Mediterranean spot near us via Google maps search and I was surprised that I never noticed this spot before (we come to the Sprouts next door on occasion). So, the place doesn't stand out, but the reviews seemed reasonable, so off we went. Wow! The food presentation alone put a smile on my face (pic is after I had eaten some already). Happy to say that everything tasted just as wonderful - fresh, light, tasty. My husband was impressed with the tenderness and flavor of both the chicken and beef. He had the beef kabob with humus, for our 3 year old I ordered the kids chicken kebab with rice (thumbs up for having a kid's menu!), and I had one of their specials - lentil fried rice sans meat.Apart from the food, the owner (I believe) who took our order and the cook who also served us were great. Neither overly friendly or impatient, they were a pleasure to be serviced by. They look you in the eye when speaking, are accommodating, polite, professional. Makes a difference, big time. All that to say that this hole-in-the-wall restaurant has made it to our go-to list. We'll be back agin and again as long as they're here.Kid-friendliness: They have a great kid's menu, decent portion.“
“I went for some mole chilaquiles and they were super delicious. Reminded me of my Mama Lolitas mole. She made the best in Boyle Heights...memories of my mom when she was here on earth. Now, i know where i can find a bit of my mom's spirit. Thank you and Blessings to this heavenly spot. Great food. Loved it and will go back again.“
“My son was craving shawarma so I chose this spot because of their ratings. The place was very clean and I liked how it was bright and very open! My son had already ordered and paid. I wanted a drink and paid cash. The gentleman preparing/cooking our meal was also the cashier. He accepted my cash (wearing gloves already) and placed in the register. He then proceeded to pick up a cucumber wearing the same gloves that he handled money with!!! I was fuckin appalled!!! I was like, " You better change your gloves!! You just touched money!!" Wtf!! How gross!!! Jayson and I discussed how even though the pandemic was a clear eye opener on how poor hygiene was another factor in invading someone's personal space! He was truly doing so, and I had to put on the brakes real quick!! The cook/cashier continued to complete our order. He was probably pissed off, but this is my food you're preparing and I would expect you to prepare my meal as you'd prepare your own! So I got the small beef shawarma plate. You have to specify if you want rice or fries. Later on I remembered to ask for fries, otherwise they'll give you rice. I gave that up for lent. The plate was much larger than expected! The cucumber salad was delicious. The hummus was good, but a little grainy. Perhaps it needed to be puréed a bit more. The shawarma was so soft and tasty, but the sauces were on point!! Both the garlic sauce and house sauce complimented each other! Fire I would have loved to have given 5 stars But well, you know!“
“Been coming here since I was a teenager and the food has always been good and exceeded my expectations. If you get the plates you will end up with more food than if you get the wraps. The only negative part about this place is the parking. Many different stores in this place and not enough parking spaces. There are one or two handicapped spots too which are always full so try to find a spot even if it’s further away from the store.“
“Today was a challenging day until I stopped by to pick up my takeout order. Unfortunately, I made an error and ordered the incorrect meal, which was frustrating. Maria recognized my distress and went above and beyond to rectify the situation by correcting my order. I greatly appreciate her kindness, which significantly improved my day.“
“Food was awesome. Service was great. I went close to closing time and they didn’t have any rotisserie chicken anymore which is phenomenal, so I was a bit disappointed.Like anything else in downtown LA, parking sucks for this location.Vegetarian options: Falafel are good and so are all their sides.“
“I'll have to make another return here to 'Every Table,' Los Feliz, Los Angeles, CA., some time soon but was just a quick restroom stop. Now that I'm writing this review, doing so actually made me realize I bought a box of Lemon Pepper Chicken salad, and that box is still in the car. Luckily, it was raining in Los Angeles, CA earlier today when I was driving this area, so I don't think the food would have spoiled. I better place that in the fridge. Cashier was very friendly: I asked if all boxed items sold were readily cooked since it was my first time here, he took time to answer all my questions. I was literally just in for a quick restroom break walking back to my car. I'll have to stop by to take more pics next trip. This cafe was kept extremely clean throughout. They sold mostly Vegan dishes to-go, ready-to-eat dishes if you have immediate access to a microwave, I'll be back again to try a drink or two. Thanks for your convenience!!!! Cya next time!!!!“
“Friendly, efficient service & delicious vegan options!I enjoyed building my own salad with customized ingredients like garbanzo beans, edamame & broccoli. All the vegetables & beans were very fresh.Andrea quickly made my salad. I only waited a few minutes. She greeted me warmly when I arrived and expressed appreciation for my business.Vegetarian options: Vegan friendly“
“4.5 Real Score -- I think this place is great! I took off at half point only because I feel like it's really expensive at this point. I know inflation has caused most restaurants to go up in price, and I get that, but this is just my opinion. But the quality and flavor of both there and I'm rounding up to five stars. Service was good, though it wasn't fast but kabobs do take time to make. Their garlic sauce is some of my favorite and the steak was super tender and cooked medium to perfection. Chicken was pretty juicy although I've had juicy or chicken kabobs. Definitely would recommend this place and I've been coming here for years.“
