“Hole in the wall restaurant but food is good! We got tacos, a molcajete, and some agua chiles. Delicious and cheap! I also ordered a michelada, it was tasty. The taco meat was crispy and full of meat! They also gave us plenty of salsas and chips. Will be coming back“

“Absolutely amazing place must visit if you are at all into tacos. This is not your average taco. The Carne Asada was packed with good quality meat and the shrimp taco was also wonderful. They’re price 6 to 8 dollars but well worth it.

“Some of the best and most authentic Mexican food coming out of paso robles. Every time I've gone with my partner or group settings, always the same gentleman taking care of us, always giving us the best service, and wait time for any dish is quick. Setting wise it might not have the appeal like the rest of paso but you can't beat the price, service, or authentic taste of every dish.“

“We loved the atmosphere and the food for sure. Restaurant was busy and the Service for us was way under par. Got drinks and water pretty fast but food was really slow and we had ordered chips with salsa and guac when we first sat down, but food showed up first. We asked about the chips,salsa and guac and the waiter said is should of been here already. To his credit he brought the chips and salsa and said they would take them off the bill. But guac never arrived. Also once food arrived we only saw the waiter once before we were almos finished eating, and then not again for about 30min to get the bill.

I would still recommend Fish Gaucho as the food was great and I think it was just a very busy night but service should never be that sparce...“

“I loved the art works and how diverse the type of art they had everywhere. We had minimal contact with our server and I've had better food than what I ordered there just down by Wells Fargo. I don't remember the name of that restaurant but its just a little hole in the wall family owned and operated business. But in all fairness, the food was basic and I could hardly eat it due to a big hole my teeth caused in the side of my tongue sometime earlier that week. My jaw locked up and finally released without warning causing me to chop down and rip a big laceration in my tongue. Couldn't eat without pain for over a week. Overall, I enjoyed my time there but mostly for the decor and horchiata drink.“

“This is the quintessential hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. I didn’t really believe there was a restaurant in the complex. Very low key. But you know what they say about hole in the wall food places, the food was fire! Salsa and chips were out of this world. And the stead with onions…delicious! Well worth searching this place out.“

But they are charging sit down restaurant prices for a more fast food style environment. You walk up and place your order at the counter, prepay then sit down, Refill your own drinks etc. they also charged extra for chips and salsa. Family of 4, 2 adults entrees and 2 kids meals, and chips, just water to drink and it was $65!“

The problem I had wasn't there making I don't understand who votes for the crazy laws in this state why are free bags dangerous for the environment and the ones they sell for $.25 OK this nonsense has moved on to fast food why can't I have condiments? Are we all unskilled and can't manage to put a lid and straw in our sodas? If you think you can handle these difficult tasks the employees will provide them to you and bags are still free“
