Little too doughy for me.For the udon we tried the miso carbonara and the hot dragon. I would say that they were both good. Carbonara is very creamy and milky while the hot dragon packed some good flavors. The hot dragon felt like it was more food than the carbonara.Took about 15 mins to get our food so a bit slow but I think they handcraft the noodles so many that’s why it took a while? About $50 for two udons and an app.“

For example, the drunken noodles were like a 7/10 on spice level. The boat noodle soup was loaded with robust flavor. The fried chicken wings appetizer was moist with a sweet and tangy sauce. They offer a variety of drinks from Thai tea to fresh coconut as well as unique desserts! I've been to Thailand and some of the best Thai restaurants in LA and OC and this place ranks among them for their creativity and uniqueness. The service is good and everything came out in good time. We've had Laotian food before as there are excellent ones in the SFV, but hands down this has to be the best by far. So far we've tried grilled beef plate w/ a side of papaya salad paired w/ chicken and sausage ala carte (instead of the plate) and they were all in scrumptious. The saucesParking: It is located in a multi use apartment above/commercial businesses below. So the parking is actually where the tenants also park which leaves plenty of spaces for the restaurant and it's free. No ticket and validation required.“

“Nice little gem we recently found. Place was clean & inviting and one of the cooks did a great job explaining the menu to us. We ordered the cheese Katsu meals and the portions are perfect! Really enjoyed the salad and dressing that topped it. Bowl of miso and rice were the perfect touch to complete the meal. Cheese katsu was amazing and the food was hot and fresh and the service was great. Definitely going to put this on our list of "places to return to"“

No more making the drive in traffic out to Savoy in Alhambra when craving for Hainan chicken rice. It's a small restaurant tucked behind Popeye's fried chicken adjacent to Auntie Anne's pretzel and Jamba Juice. They have a limited menu that specializes in chicken rice. For my first try I kept it simple with Hainan chicken rice to go order. There is regular and a larger size portions. The perfectly sliced boneless chicken sits on top of ginger chicken broth flavored rice comes with minced cucumber slices, and three sauces sambal, soy sauce, and ginger sauce. There is also a small side of chicken broth. The chicken tastes clean, no MSG detected. Next time I'll be back to try the fried chicken. No cash accepted, pay by cashless credit card or Apple Pay at the kiosk.“

Located on Del Amo/Bellflower it was easy to find. Large lot but very busy as there are a few food stores there. There was a small line ordering when we arrived. Two of the six tables available were taken. I noticed on the menu board Wednesdays are $1 a wing day. We were served by a very friendly associate who grabbed our order promptly. My order consisted of 6 Garlic Parm Wings 6 Sweet and Spicy Wings. Garlic Noodles with Tri Tip and a Ninja Quesadilla The food was great, very tasty and spicy where it needed to be. As soon as I saw the first roll come out I knew I was in trouble. I think I still made a sizable dent (about half of each roll), but as you can see, the to go box is still packed full anyway.The service was fast and my server was very sweet. “There are two reasons I would go back to this place. I saw it on Instagram, and I like to judge places for myself, so we went. The first reason I'd go back is they have an employee by the name of America, I told her it was our first time she introduced both beef and chicken teriyaki so we could taste both flavors and it was by far a great recommendation. Both had great flavor, so this place, I would say, is a good five-star. “It's always the places tucked away in a corner that are the best. You would never see this place from the main road unless you go into the business park. I've only been once and tried the orange peel chicken with fried rice. They forgot my fried rice and gave me white rice but I live near by and they were quick to fix it when I came back. The quality and taste of the food keeps this a 5 star. The chicken didn't taste cheap or full of salt and didn't upset my stomach after like other places. I would surely come back!“

If you order all these dishes with a group of 4 people, this will fill you up. Banana Latte: Tasted more of the latte than the banana. Gamberry Rose Pasta: Don't play with the spicy level. It's not death spicy but it's a bit like Shin Ramen spicy. Would not recommend this dish for my non tolerant spicy people. Pasta is wonderful though, sauce was like uni cream, there were bits of masago (tiny fish eggs) to add a nice texture, 2-3 regular shrimp and a jumbo shrimp in the dish. Beet Tataki Salad: Would highly recommend for anyone! The beef was cooked so well, medium rare on the inside and the outside sliced edges were really crispy! Salad was refreshingly and dressed well with their vinaigrette, tomato, and shredded cheese. Gambas: Not my favorite dish. The sliced bread was presented in the skillet so bottom portion of the bread was overly greasy. There was too much olive oil at the bottom of the pan than necessary. Toasted whole garlic and olives, I think the only redeemable feature of the dish would be the shrimp.“

Parking can be found in the back and you can also enter the restaurant through the back.“

But Miss Shabu has the most friendly staff as they wrote on the menu notes on what foods I'm allergic to and which ones are good. They were very efficient with setting up our table of 16 and were flexible when we had less people than expected. The food was really good for a decent price. For dinner and drinks and tea, we spent about $50 and got 2 different soup bases, had many different types of sides, and plates on top of plates of meat. Definitely recommend this Shabu place if you were looking for one in Buena Park.“

For the Fish fillet and Frog in Sichuan Mala Broth, it's the size for two people with many fish fillet and frogs inside the large pot. Though it's a little bit spicy, the proteins are pretty good with the fantastic taste. The staff told me that their boss asked them to add enough food to ensure customers' satisfaction. What a great experience of dining here. Attention to adjust the spicy level for any one of the pots.“
